Imperfections, we all have them (Ooc)

The summer has finally ended in Minneapolis. It was time that the students got back to school, and start back their normal every day life. The parties has ended, and it was suppose to be a happy time. The school was full of kids from all around, it was just a generic public school, so the students could range from the straight A good kids, to the failing out addicted students. So lets just try to get through the year since we are the students.

Ok, so we're the students obviously, and this story will be about character developement. Let's try to make the characters all different so we have a variety.

Personality:
Melody is mostly cool, calm and collected. She throws sarcastic comments into most conversations, but knows when to hold her tongue. She is seemingly innocent and can act very childish when she wants to; however, when need be, she does have a serious side. Melody knows how to party it up and enjoys the wild side of life.

Biography:
Melody comes from a wealthy and highly regarded family; however, this never stopped her from turning to alcohol and drugs. Her parents are never home and when they are, there’s always another lecture to listen to and another argument to be had. In the last three years she has been to four different prestigious academies; all of which she has been kicked out of.

She has a twin brother who is the shining star of the Faunt family; a twin brother who forever casts a shadow on her. He excels academically, athletically and always gets what he wants. He is adored and invested in, always gaining the compliments of her parents. She often hears, “Why can’t you be more like your Brother?”, “Christopher has been offered three scholarships already; you should take a page out of his book,”

personality: In simple terms: Mean Girl. She is on top of the social pyramid. The people that she surrounds herself with are her playthings. She only dates the hottest guys and is only friends with the prettiest girls. At school she is shallow, mean, and unfriendly. However, when she goes home that demeanor changes. She has to become the grown-up when she gets home and she fills that role responsibly, being at school she acts tough and mean to keep people out of her personal life. In reality she is very friendly, she loves to play with her younger brother and sister and she loves animals and people. She wants to become a vet when she gets out of high school. Although, perhaps an actress would be a better fit because at school she plays the role of blonde popular girl so well, there is never any question as to who she is.

When Amy's younger sister was born, their father bailed. He gave their mother an ultimatum; it was the alcohol or him and she chose the alcohol. Amy, being the eldest immediately started to take the mother role. She cooked, cleaned and took care of everyone in the house. That is when her mean side really came out during school hours. She is embarrassed by her mother, and she doesn't want people to know anything about her family. Her mother got a job working a graveyard shift at a gas station, which kept the small family in their home, but it gave her the entire day to drink and pass out, leaving her three children alone.

Name: Skylar Comacoda

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Personality: Skylar is a very ambitious person, or at least he was. He is extremely nice to people he knows, but extremely cautious with new people. This is all due to the way he supplies for him and his sister. He is a pacifist as long as he is on something, but when he's on anything he can get very irritable since he usually ends up going through withdrawals. Skylar is protective of his sister, and she's the only person that can make Skylar completely lose a high to make sure she's ok. Skylar hides his intelligence and his athletic prowess since his parents always ignored it. So he keeps it hidden and never tries. His lack of motivation is based around what he's on.

Brief history: Skylar grew up in a broken household, his parents were always fighting and arguing but refused to split up because of him and his little sister. As he was growing up he would always flaunt his accomplishments to his parents, trying to get them to stop fighting, but his attempts always went ignored. His parents usually forgot about him and his sister, since they were always too busy fighting or not even home in their attempt of being away from each other. Skylar had predicted that they were seeing other people when they both left but was never sure. These absences and neglect upset Skylar, but he always kept a smile on his face, and took care of sister. She was the only one in the family worth anything. Skylar had taught himself to cook, that way he could make sure she was eating, even though the house never had much food in it, he would always make sure she had a meal, even if he didn't. As the years past Skylar's parents got worse, forcing him to move out and take his sister with him. He had been working here and there inbetween taking care of his sister and going to school, so he could get a little money. With his little money he had bought a little one bedroom apartment, and told his sister that the room was hers, and he would sleep in the living room. It wasn't too long after that, that Skylar began to bring in more money from a little side job he had stumbled into to.

Skylar's attendance from school had began to slip after him and his sister moved out, not because he wanted to miss, but because he was getting resupplied. His mood had completely flipped, he always had a smile on his face, his eyes were always dilated, and became very cautious of people he didn't know. skylar had started distributing phsycodelic drugs around the town, which is where he began making money for him and his sister to live comfortably. Around his friends he was fine, and had no problem talking about what he was on, since he always tried the stuff he was distributing to make sure it was good. Skylar would never admit to being addicted to any of it, but he was always on something, giving him a false happiness. Once he began his addiction he realized it was because of his life when he was with his parents, but it never stopped him.

Personality:

Alex has a short temper from feeling abandoned by her family. Overall, she can be a nice person that can hold a proper conversation but she's always ready to fight, always ready for someone to offend her or her family. She's very defensive, walking on eggshells around people and keeping to herself a lot. She doesn't let out her life's personal information, afraid it'll be used against her or twisted into some stupid rumor. It takes her some getting use to a person to fully relax around them and let some of her past life out. It takes a while for her to trust someone and warm up to them.

Towards people she knows pretty well, she's still careful but she has a very dry sense of humor, she's very sarcastic and gets like that more so when she's angry. She cries very easily when mad and she hates that, considering it was put in her head crying is a weakness and something she shouldn't do. She has a tendency to bottle up her feelings, not wanting anyone to see them, and so she lets it all build up till one little thing makes her explode. When she's angry, she's always ready to hit something, and it's usually the thing that made her mad. She's never had a boyfriend, not even her first kiss, and so she doesn't know how to act around guys. She doesn't know how react to flirting and can be quite awkward in that situation and so she tries to avoid them or leave them be.

Bio:

Alex's parents divorced when she was the young age of five. Her older brother, who is two years older than her, took it harder than she did. For some time, she went back and forth between her parent's house; her brother stayed at her father's while she lived with her mother most of the time. She always got along with her brother, they were quite close, but he started to get into drugs and drinking and partying. She began to see him less and less at school and when she started high school, she had stopped going to her father's, since he had cut ties with her mother and wouldn't answer her calls. She knew he was probably just busy with her out of control brother. Her mother also didn't want her around that "bastard's son" either. Alex always had to listen to her mother rant and ramble about her father and brother, which hurt but she always tried to just keep quiet.

So far, her days in high school had been horrible. Considering her brother was two years older than her, he was a senior, and barely at school. She thought he dropped out, she sees him so rarely, but hasn't gotten the chance to ask him. Rumors spread about him and even her, causing problems for her high school days. She use to be a great student, straight As, but after she had gotten into her first fist fight over someone badmouthing her brother, everything went down hill. She began to fight more, always defensive of her brother and herself, and ready to throw fists. Her mother didn't know what to do but each time she tried to talk to her, Alex would blow up and her mother stopped trying to get through to her. Her mother just deemed her another "hopeless child" and just concentrated on working and providing for the house. She feels as if she's lost her father and brother at the same time. Even her mother, since her mother barely talks to her now and only talks to her when need be. She smokes and sometimes drink but she tries to not do it often, considering there's enough rumors about her brother being a druggie and alcoholic. She doesn't care about her grades though and does sneak out to go to parties. She's always sneaking out, never openly showing her mother she's leaving because she knows that'll only cause problems.
