Modern day - Another world- interest check!

I have not titled this roleplay yet, but I wanted to see if anyone is interested in this idea.

This roleplay will be about everyone having their own plot and goals. But the main theme is "NO PLACE LIKE HOME", however

you may interpret this saying.


We are all to be thrown into this fantastical world. Yes there is civilization and yes there is magic and odd creatures.

Technology does exist but only a little bit.


So basically everyone is thrown somewhere different or near proximity of each other, in the end of the first post we must

all gather at a pub at the city of Glenhaven. We must all know eachother's goals clearly. We will be partying up to help

one another with our goals whatever they may be, of course there can be tension in the group. It's not always La-dee-da all

the time.

Please this is an action and adventure roleplay with original characters, romance only if you want to.

Anything in particular?

I'd assume most of the RP would take place with everyone being in one world, so I wasn't sure why we'd be thrown into separate worlds. If you had ideas for this please share them (: I just didn't really understand. Maybe we could all first be placed in separate parts of one world, so each part can be designed by and reflect each of us, if that's what you intended. This way it's still the same world and we could travel through all of it, and however many people join it will have that many different little "neighborhoods" that are unique.

That may have been what you meant, but I wasn't sure ^-^

Is there a reason you had in mind for why we are all suddenly in this world, or would each person's reason be different also? Because if everyone was suddenly in some strange new world, I think they would at least share a common goal of finding out why they're there. Wouldn't they?

Unless they were trying to find this world on purpose, but I wasn't sure if that was an option.

Let the brainstorming begin! XD

For one, we wouldn't be thrown into separate worlds, we're all going to be thrown into the same world. Coming from planet Earth, and then being immersed into a new world...

Now everyone must come from present time Earth, and we are to meet at this new world. This new world has towns and villages, and cities. Maybe this world can be called Terra.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

How exactly does magic work? Mana, stones, runes or items?
How many intelligent species are there?? i mean in this world do only humans build cities?
Did we wake up into this world or simply when I stepped of the bus and blinked I wasn’t on earth anymore?
Items: did we enter this terra world with all our items or did we leave them behind or did they transform?
What’s the currency in this world?

Can I join?
