Nation Builder RP
A long long time ago, in a thread far, far away, some friends and I tried to start up a Nation Builder thread here. It didn't really go anywhere, and I'd like to try starting up a new one myself. I will be playing the role of GM, meaning I will handle random events and the results of actions. I will be using dice to ensure no bias. Details for initial creation and the system will be posted in the OOC if enough interest is shown.

What kind of nation builder will this be? Sci-fi? Fantasy? Historical? Modern?

I am curious. I have a short series of questions I'd like answered before I dedicate myself to claiming interest.
1. What genre is this RP? Fantasy, futuristic, alternate history (like steampunk or biopunk), etc? Are these nations set on a human world, or are there different species available for play?
2. Will this RP be mission or quest drive? Will it focus on a linear storyline, or one that evolves as the players decide? Will there be multiple stories occurring at once, or only one that all characters are required to participate in?
3. What rating (PG, PG-13, or R) would this RP be? Personally, I vote for R or "Mature," if you want to put it in video game lingo.
Anyway, let me know. I'm, like I said, curious about this idea.

Zero, a nation builder is where you control an entire nation. You'll likely have a few characters with plot shields, but for the most part you'll be controlling a nation of your own.

Anyway, my vote's for either Modern or Sci-fi.

Define modern. Technically, "modern" refers to any time between the mid-1900's to now. Do you mean like new age modern (current "era"), classic modern (like the 1950's or 60's), or what?
Personally, I prefer alternate history or futuristic. I play a lot of fantasy, but I love sci-fi, too.

Current age. I guess I should say post-modern, since we're currently in the post-modern age, while the modern age was the 1900's or so.
