World of Ilinum
(OOC: http://roleplayerguild.com/showthrea...orld-of-Ilinum)
A dark and cloudy day looms over the city of Ilak, as the wind blows trough the streets a leaflet is carried upon the door of a small tavern just outside of the city gates. The sign on the tavern reads: "The Traveler's Light". Inside of the tavern, for various reasons, seven unique people have found themselves. No matter which might be the reason for them coming here right now they are enjoying drinks, food or rumors. But then suddenly a knock is heard on the door and a loud voice speaks up, as the people in the tavern fall silent: "This is the city guards! We know that various fugitives from the law or Suya are inside! Come out without a weapon or you will be killed! You have three minutes!"

Arina and Jebh looked at each other and reached for their weapons. Those two weren't planing to go down without a fight. Hell knows, they might even win against city guards. Arina took out her crossbow, loaded it and got it ready to fire while chanting a spell while Jebh took out his spear.

Maya was sitting at a Booth waiting for her Partner Josh to come in, a waiter put a plate of food she ordered down on her table and when she picked up a fork to dig into her food a couple of guards kicked in the tavern door and the usual sounds of the human tavern went silent, Maya stabbed her fork into the top of her food and sighed as she rested her head on her fist wondering who they were looking for, just then something caught her eye and she saw two people getting ready for a fight, Maya would jump in and help the guards but she wanted to see how this would go down she took a sip from her mug near by on the table near her food.

Rar'jir interupted his meal at the sound of the guard's shout. Obviously something was wrong. He'd been through such situations beforehand though and was not distressed. Perhaps the guards were mistaken...or they were right and criminals were in the tavern. Hopefully they would be caught, Rar'jir enjoyed to eat calmly while reading. An arrest would be no good for such activities. All the noise would disrupt his peaceful lecture. Maybe he could get them inside since no one was getting up? He was a well known figure in muiltiple kingdoms. He took a quick glance around the tavern to look at who reacted. Two individuals had gotten up. Maybe those were the criminals? He obviously couldn't run to the door with a crossbow pointing on his back so he pushed away his previous idea. He decided to stay put until the inevitable confrontation.

As the moon slowly traveled across the quickly darkening sky, its light shone upon a dark creature that lay on a ledge that stood out from the mountain slope. It had laid there still for hours, and one might think that he was asleep. However, someone who would try to take advantage of a situation like this, would find out quickly enough that he was mistaken. If this person would take some more time to look at the dragon, he might noticed that even though his head might lay still, and his body hadn't moved at all in hours, his eyes were open and looking alertly at his surroundings. Anyone approaching this monster would surely meet their demise.
The reason that the dragon lay still like this however, was fast asleep. Without any fear, a young girl had snuggled up against the dragons stomach, her arms hugging its front paw as if it was a teddy bear. She had been exhausted from a days work, and here, between the paws of a wild dragon, she was surely safer then any other girl around the world. As she turned around in her sleep, her lips curled into a smile. Whatever she was dreaming about, it seemed to be enjoyable dreams.

Without a warning the guards stormed into the tavern with swords ready and the officer shouted: "Get them all! We will see later who are the ones we are searching..." But before finishing was interrupted by a bolt from Arina's crossbow which now sicked out of his neck. As Jebh rushed forward with it's spear Arina finished her spell, Dark Veil, which blinded all of the guards which entered the tavern, which started to totter around blinded by the spell. From outside more guards entered the tavern.
(xXSinXx since the technology is late medieval you will edit your post according to it)
