Suspect and TDN
Heidi still felt like she wanted to be sick. She was still laid in bed when someone knocked at her door. She pulled the covers over her head and tried to ignore everything that was going on around her. Anywhere but this.. She wanted to be home, in Three. Where her family was, where her friends were. If course, she knew Xander anyway, but they'd barely spoke. The knocking continued and Heidi sighed. She slowly rose out of bed and dressed. Training was something she was looking forward too. She had no skills, nothing that could kill anyone. In fact, she had no lethal skills at all. About the only thing she was good at was dancing. Hell, she was flexible too, but that would never save her.
She pulled her training clothes on and headed out to the breakfast table. Her mentor, Selene, greeted her with a smile and beckoned her towards the table. The last thing she wanted was good but she'd been told to eat. She nibbled on fruit before, strangely the flavour became too much. She pushed her plate away and looked around for something else. Water would do. She took a sip and eventually she grew full. The group sat in silence before she was ushered towards the lift. She didn't know where Xander was and apparently she had ''no time to waste'. The thought made her feel even worse, she'd be eaten alive down there. Being from Three meant she'd be even more closely watched by the Careers.
"You'll be fine, just stay out their way." Selene smiled. The two of them rode the lift down and before too long, Heidi was alone at the entrance to perhaps the largest room she'd ever seen. She looked about, spotting the Games Maker and his entourage. She turned her eyes to the rest of the tributes, most of which were focusing on weapons training. She sighed and headed straight for the trap station. She'd need to learn to catch food, otherwise she's starve. With a sigh, she settled down next another girl, apparently from Eleven and the two slowly learnt how to make snares.
The work was difficult for her, but apparently, the girl beside her, Louse, found it easy work. She turned her eyes round the room, looking desperately for Xander, someone she already knew.
