WELCOME TO ROSENBERG'S CORRECTIONAL FACILITY FOR DISTURBED ADOLESCENTS
Parents tell you it's because they love you and they want what's best for you. You believe them, but you know that's only the half of it. The other, bigger half is because they are sick and tired of putting up with your bullshit. They don't know how to handle you or your problems anymore. And quite frankly, they are a little ashamed that their own child is a bonified FREAK! So as a result of all of this, they sent you here, Rosenberg's Correctional Facility For Disturbed Adolescents. The brochure says it is a nice, quiet, relaxing, helpful place to cure those who are disturbed between the ages of 13-18. There's even a pool, a garden, a game room, a gym, a kitchen stocked with food, a music room, and a library. But that isn't even the best part! The absolute best part about this facility is that ALL patients that are admitted are FREE! The only apparent catch to the parentals are the requirements. Their child must have at least one of these disabilities...Any type of mental disturbance that may lead to think that the patient is Crazy or Psychotic, Anorexia, Bulimia, Homicidal, Suicidal, Overly Antisocial, Drug Abuse, or Anger Management. But that isn't the real catch the government, much less the parents, doesn't even know the real catch. The doctors of Rosenberg are more like Evil Scientist instead of helpful psychiatrists. They use their patients as guinea pigs for their experiments to concoct ways of creating the perfect children of the future, with no disabilities or disturbances, just perfect little angels. We are talking shock treatments, painful surgeries, drugs that make you sluggish and forget things, just plain out BRAINWASHING! And that's just for the good patients, If you cause trouble or try to rat them out to your parents on parental visit day, the consequences may be that of you disappearing for a week or more. There have actually been few kids who are released home, those who have been lucky and found out that lying and acting like the treatments worked have gotten out. So what will you do? Lie? Be Yourself? Or Get To The Bottom Of It? The time has come for justice! It is time to burn this Asylum to the ground!
P.S. There is a hidden graveyard where all the patients that die are put.
1.] As you should notice this is a casual thread so that means AT LEAST 1 PARAGRAPH PER POST! Which if you don't understand that is 4-5 sentences.
2.]NO PINGPONGING WHATSOEVER! I don't care if the person you were waiting on to post just posted after you, wait for at least 3-5 more posts before posting again to give other characters time to react and intervene.
3.]There is an OOC Thread for a reason. DO NOT FILL UP MY STORY THREAD WITH USELESS OOC CONVO. It Distracts me.
4.]If there happens to be sex and romance, be responsible and fade out and take it to a PM.
5.]Oh you don't have to give everything up in your character skeleton if you don't want to so there can be suspense and surprise. Just if you make any bid decisions please drop them by me first.
6.]Other than that you can cuss as much as you want I don't give a damn I do the same thing. Of course don't God Mode. And I prefer for people to write in the past tense and third person point of view, if you don't that is perfectly fine I'm just stating what I prefer.
Doors To The Dorms
All dorms have two beds with two night stands inbetween them, two closets one on each side of the room, and one bathroom with a stand in shower (no bath) a toilet, and a shallow sink basin.
The White Srugery Gowns
Every time a patient goes to see the doctors for 'treatment' they come back in this. Patients are also allowed to wear normal people clothing.
When a patient dies they aren't sent back home, they tell everyone simply ranway or disapeared. This is where they are sent.

THE CHARACTER SHEETS
Character Role: Homicidal
Personality: Adelaide has a fiery personality usually. She likes to be mysterious, alluring, and in control. She has a temper, however, and hates being told no or being controlled. Sometimes she can become extremely depressed, however, especially when she looks around and sees her life. She doesn't want to change... she likes her malicious self
History: Adelaide was born to a country family (though, she was actually adopted as a baby). She was a particularly happy child, running around barefoot in handstitched white cotton dresses from her mom. Her blonde ringlet curls bounced around her face and her green eyes twinkled. However, Adelaide was such a happy child because she was always getting away with mischief. And there is lots of mischief to be had on a farm. Adelaide found her favorite place to be was a creek running not to far from their home, and more often than not she was there swimming and fishing. One day, Adelaide was kicking her feet on the bank when she felt a heavy hand on her shoulder. She stiffened up, and when she looked over her shoulder, she saw a gruff looking stranger. Being only 10 at this time, Adelaide wasn’t sure what his intentions were, but she wasn’t going to wait and find out. As his tobacco stained teeth grinned at her, Addie, expressionless, snapped her wrist, flinging a large fish hook into the man’s throat before yanking. She stared at him for a few hours, before taking a quick swim and heading back home. After that, Adelaide was never the same. She began going on dates at the age of 12, but every boy she dated would mysteriously disappear. Unlike her first, the others after him she brought herself, singing and swaying her hips as she brought them to her creek. Once she was about 17, her parents sold the farm to a relative and they moved to Arizona. Addie knew the relatives had to have found the bodies, but probably thought her parents were involved, resulting in no punishment for her. Adelaide also knew her parents had well founded suspicions about her (okay, more than suspicions), but they were too afraid of her to bring them up, simply dropping her off at the asylum before she turned 18.
How You Got Here: Parents knew she needed help, and wanted to get her help before she was no longer a minor.
Secrets: The only way she won't hate a man is if she can find a reason to respect them in her own twisted way.
Nickname(s): will update if given any by anyone.
Character Role(s): Psychotic
Personality: When not spazzing is usually calm and relaxed, friendly and open to almost everyone
History: He lived a childhood without a mother and his father was a constant drunk. They lived in a small 1 bedroom apartment and he always slept in the corner where it was small, he liked it there. His father would drink all day long and all night till he passed out, then he would drink some more when he woke up. Most of the time he won't finish the bottle and grab a new one, when ever he grabbed a new one the old one was thrown to the corner Joesph slept in. Everyday from school he would come and see a massive mound of bottles, and since there was never any food accept what was given at school, and he was too young to know better, he drank all he could out of the pile of bottles.
Months past and eventually the alcohol caught up to his brain and altered it, he started seeing delusions and hallucinating, his mind removing itself from reality. His father saw his son spaz one day and flipped out, probably overreacted due to the amount of alcohol he consumed. He told himself he wasn't going to deal with him and sent him to Rosenberg's, Joesph has been there since then, arriving at the young age of 10 and has still been there since then. His condition only worsening itself.
How You Got Here: Mixed with History
Secrets: Believes he has no mother but doesn't share
Character Relationships: If you want one, just ask.
Extra: Um for the Rpers sake, I'll put the definition of Psychotic and Hallucinating, a lot of people don't know the true definition.
Psychotic: An abnormal condition of the mind, and is a generic psychiatric term for a mental state often described as involving a "loss of contact with reality". People suffering from psychosis are described as psychotic. Psychosis is given to the more severe forms of psychiatric disorder, during which hallucinations and delusions and impaired insight may occur.
Hallucination: a sense perception (sight, touch, sound, smell, or taste) that is a false or distorted perception of objects or events with a compelling sense of their reality, usually resulting from a mental disorder or drug.
Among the staff, he only answers to Master Alistair. Among patients, he answers to Ali.
Unknown - Potentially believed to be among the Suicidal, Homicidal, and Mentally Diseased group.
Extremely clam, almost artificially so. It has been rumored that his inability to be phased is a result of a lobotomy, though no one has been able to find a scar, let alone lay a finger on his hair. Among patients, he acts like a big brother and being among the oldest to live within the facility, it was only natural for him to grow a fraternal role over all of those he knows. He is known to be very kind and very patient among the patients, though when in the presence of the staff, his personality changes drastically. He treats the staff as though they're servants and he is some extraordinarily wealthy young man. From the staff, he accepts no mistakes and has been known to, on rare occasions now, backhand doctors and nurses for forgetting to call him 'Master'.
A tape is put into the recorder, a cigarette being snubbed in an ash tray adjactent. A long thin finger presses down on the [REC] button, allowing several moments to pass before his warm voice breaks the silence. "Frankly, I'm baffled that Alist- I'm sorry, *cough* Master Alistair is still here. That kid has been here for nearly three years and yet we haven't figured out what the hell is going on in his head or how he got here. All they ever told me was that a Jules family made a very, very substantial donation to our facility in exchange for letting the boy stay here. That's the part that gets me though. No one's ever said what the hell he was sent here for. There's just the rumors that he killed a sibbling or was just too much for a bunch of rich snobs to handle. But that's all we have to run off of. Just rumors. The boy never says anything that helps us learn anything and we've already figured out that there isn't any disorder that makes him so cut off from us. He just acts like an punk ass teenager. But I've started to think that maybe that's what he wants. He's hoping we're going to let our guard down on him. I've seen his eyes though. Those eyes are far less absent than he'd like us to think. I've seen him stare me down and pick me apart piece by piece. My money's on him being a killer. It's in his eyes. That's what it has to be... And with his growing popularity among the patients... Christ. He worries me to no fucking end." The man's voice comes to a pause, before adding a final click to the recording, that being his turning off the [REC] button. He quickly removed the tape, marking it 'Patient Alistair Jules, Unknown Orientation, REC #82'. A door to the small room opens up, a petite nurse stepping in with a mocking smile on her face. "Making another recording about the mystery boy, Hannock?" She mocked, walking toward him with her arms crossed. "Shut up Julie, you know as well as I do that kid's a monster." Julie shurgged, turning her back to him, "You're the only one here that thinks that. Get it through your head. The boy's just another teenage brat." Hannock only sighed, opening up his personal locker which was nearly full with the recording tapes. "I pray to god you're right."
Name: Damian Freeman
Character Role(s): Angered, Bi-Polar
Personality: Damian is often found with a big smile on his face. He seems almost oblivious to the things around him, preferring to live in the realm of his music, rather then among his peers. This however changes when he gets angry. Actions speak louder then words for him. And a punch to the face, or a steel pipe to the throat are not far out of his grasp.
History: Damian grew up on the streets of Seattle Washington. He was always a happy little kid, despite the fucked up household he was thrown into. His mother and father were both sever alcoholics who beat him mercilessly.
Damian began to get into fights at a young age. He took pride in the fact that he had never lost a battle. Damian had broken bones, been shot, been stabbed, and been jumped many times. He developed a love for pain. Almost seeking out the brutal attacks. And he loved to cause pain to his attackers, and the people he attacked.
How You Got Here: After sending many of his attackers to the hospital, a dark stigma and reputation began to follow him everywhere. People began seeing an opportunity in this, and so did Damian. He became a shark, a paid fighter or thug.
After being paid a large sum of cash to make sure a snitch wouldn't be able to talk anymore. Damian took this as a personal challenge. He broke the mans jaw, knocked out all his teeth, punctured his lung, and collapsed his windpipe. The man was left bleeding and dying in the streets. He wouldn't have made it if not for a random passerby calling an ambulance.
The first thing the snitch did was rat Damian out. The cops had him arrested later on that day. and threw him in the system as an attempted murderer. The judge took pity on him however and gave him a choice, !0 years in a maximum facility prison, or rehabilitation at Rosenberg's Correctional Facility For Disturbed Adolescents.
Rave or Ray (If A Doctor decides to give her patient name or wahtever I'll add it in.
Schizophrenia with severe Anxiety and Paranoia that also leads to Insomnia. Bracelet Color-Mental Disease
Raven is a type of person where she tries to be nice but it's very hard for her because she doesn't know if certain people in her life are real. And it doesn't matter if she knows them to be real or not she has a hard time trusting them always thinking they have an alterative motive for wanting to speak with her. So she may come off as a little rude or overly accusing. She also doesn't know how to handle her emotions. If she is Angry or Sad she leans towards self mutilation, not because she wants to die but because it distracts her from those bad feelings. She's ok with her happy feelings, as a matter of fact they calm her to a certain degree, and that is the best time to communicate with. And then there are those few days to where she is just blank and has no emotion what so ever and she just sits there and picks a place to stare. And then there are those other days where she isn't angry, but everybody and their problems just seem to irritate her and she has something to say about everything. Also if she is in an uncomfortable situation that is tense or what not she tends to break down and that's when her paranoia and anxiety kick in. She gets shaky and curls up into a ball and try to think of something else because she doesn't know how to handle the situation. She's also very dependant. And deathly afraid of the dark.
Raven was a Mama's girl, being an only child and her mom being a single mother, they were obviously very close. Life to Raven was perfect, her mother and her were best friends they did everything together. When Raven was 5 and started going to school her mom and her both cried because they knew they wouldn't be able to spend as much time together. She also slept in the same bed as her mom until she started going to school she could even sleep in the dark by herself when she got used to it. As she started going to school more and her mom was alone at the house for most of the day her mom started going out on dates and met this guy named Brent. Brent seemed very cool at first, even to Raven who was very possessive of her mom, liked him a lot. Then Brent moved in and everything changed. Raven saw things happen to her mom that she didn't like, her face which was once beautiful turned a nasty, busted, red, black, and blue. Most of the time when she saw her mom being beaten she ran to her bedroom and hid in her closet.
One day though while her mom was at work, and even though through Raven's numerous begs for her not to be left alone with him, had to be babysat by Brent. She hid in her closet for most of the day not wanting to be near the man she so feared, but he found her and gave her the exact same treatment he gave her mother, except raven's little body couldn't handle it and was almost beaten to death. After Raven got out of a two month hospital stay, her mother finally left Brent. But Raven was never the same after that.
At night she had to have her bedroom light on, her bed had to be sat on the floor so she could see everything around her and so nothing could hide under her bed, she had to check her closet and close all of her doors and lock her windows and play the t.v. at night just so she could sleep. It didn't stop there though, Raven became over suspicious with everyone she didn't know who she could trust, and when she got upset she started hurting herself. She has grotesque scars all over her body from it. Then she started locking herself in her room separating herself from everyone except Daisy a friend she had created in her mind. Raven started seeing things too especially in the dark.
Her mom tried to help her at first, to try and get that baby girl she once had. But then history repeated itself and her mother found this preacher guy and married him. After he moved in he tried to exercise her numerous times and when that didn't fix her he brain washed her mother into believing that Raven was sick twisted sinful and never coming back to who she used to be. After one bad cut from the top of her left breast to her right hip bone and another hospital stay later her mom gave up and was convinced by her over religious husband to drop her off at Rosenberg.
That was when Raven was 14. She hasn't seen her mother since. She hates The Preacher Man and now even more her mother. Funny how time and action changes things.
A friend and voice inside her head named Daisy, she frequently talks her and sometimes argues with her.

Personality: Withdrawn, sometimes to the point of comatose. Other times confrontational and angry. Finally during the "good times" creative and outgoing
History: Christina has always been the one girl too far on the outside. She never fit in school, high school, or anywhere else for that matter. She had difficulties making friends, with the world inside her mind being so much more alive then the world outside. Eventually she stopped trying to find someone outside her mind, she began to take sleeping pills to remain there longer. Eventually forsaking food, or anything outside the pills.
When her parents finally found out what was going on, they tried to help her. She began withdrawn, depressed, and angry that her time in that world was being taken away. One night she attempted to take a more permanent trip there, downing a bottle of sleeping pills resulted in her ending up in the facility. She is on a forced regiment of medication, and in exchange she's given some art supplies. She's tenuously accepted this arrangement.

Dr Felix Desmond Zafar
Character Role: Chief Doctor
Personality: Dr Zafar is a very cold man. He grows no personal attachments to anyone and has practically done the same for the entirety of his life. He views emotions and feelings as nothing more than biological reactions in the brain and body, studying them like any other aspect of science. He has no sense of humour and views almost everything with the sceptical and surgical nature of a doctor, caring not for the pains and sufferings of others, only the advancement of his work. He can be very patient when dealing with patients and getting what he wants, however if pushed too far he can snap and be filled with a white hot rage which has only happened once before in Rosenberg's Correctional Facility For Disturbed Adolescents and can lead to him trying his more extreme solutions on a patient despite abhorrent and obvious risks.
He is also a very deep and secretive man, keeping things even from the other members of staff when he chooses to. He has many secrets and personal experiences which will as far as he is concerned never see the light of day.
History: Dr Zafar was born of a German and middle-eastern couple, however never met his mother and his father never spoke of her, growing angry when the young Felix asked about her. His father was a brilliant scientist who worked in Germany around the time of the Nazi government and he was amongst other scientists who sold their loyalties to the united states once it became apparent that the third rich was about to fall. He sold out many of the other scientists giving all of their information and research over to the Americans, making several of the others obsolete – which lead to their execution due to war crimes. Once the war was over and things were being settled Felix’s father smothered him with scientific teachings, determined to make the boy one of the best scientists in the world. On his death bed his father left him his many journals and notebooks which spanned back throughout his entire career. From then on the new Dr Zafar filled his father’s shoes becoming heavily involved in not only the atomic programme but also heavily involved with the governments more sinister human experiments. He was on the frontlines of experimental drugs and chemical warfare throughout the cold war, but was eventually forced into ‘retirement’ due to his accumulating black marks due to his extreme and unethical methods. He continued to play a large part in the scientific community writing several books that were widely criticised for being very unorthodox and unacceptable in today’s society.
How You Got Here: After almost a year of retirement he was contacted by a private company who were extremely interested in hiring him for a position. A month later he began work at Rosenberg's facility. Dr Zafar excelled in the position and the freedom that it allowed him, performing all manor of tests and experiments that he would have been forbidden from doing anywhere else. He now seeks what he considers the ultimate goal of medical science – the control of an individual to the point where their conditions can be overcome and suppressed. It also works well for him that his paychecks are large and he is given any funding that he requests to do the work that is needed.
Secrets: Dr Zafar is filled with many dark secrets from both the Nazi and American governments as well as his own. Once when having lost his temper at the facility he performed a partial lobotomy on a troublesome patient, turning the young man into a drooling vegetable that couldn’t even feed himself. He died shortly afterwards – suffocating in his own vomit after Dr Zafar neglected to assign any other member of staff to him. Before taking the corpse to the graveyard he performed more exploratory surgery on the body reducing it to little more than a bloody scientific mess.
Character Relationships: Add These in as characters are accepted or after they are accepted.
Extra: Dr Zafar has once or twice throughout his employment at the facility taken to having a ‘favourite’ patient, usually a young girl who he gives slightly preferential treatment for his own dark reasons. The only patients who received this ended up buried in the graveyard at one point or the other – though the details surrounding their deaths are not clear and Dr Zafar took all of their files into his own personal collection.
Dr Zafar deals mostly with the more extreme cases, staying away from the more ‘normal’ patients where possible. The other members of staff generally also dislike him for some obvious reasons, not only is he their superior but he is also patronising and rude to them whenever they question him.
Doctor Padriac Muldoon
Age: (I'm assuming doctors have an exception to this) 28
Character Role(s): Doctor, second only to Dr Felix
Personality: Meek, suffers from anxiety around more dangerous patients. He is a bit like Dr. Felix's foil. tries his best to keep the Chief Doctor from doing anything too drastic.
History: Studied psychological medicine for seven years, graduated top of his class. The Facility sought him out about two months after his graduation. The money was great, and he couldn't refuse. Now he is a vital part of the project.
Why Perform These Tests?: "I'm very interested in human behavior, and wish to assist humanity."
Character Relationships: Second in command to Doctor Felix, whom he doesn't despise, but they disagree on several things. Dr. Muldoon tries his best to keep the Chief Doctor from doing anything too drastic.
