hey, everyone! my name's nicole, and it's a pleasure to meet you!
i'm absolutely terrible when it comes to talking about myself, so i'll attempt to keep this short and sweet to avoid boring you all to death with my mindless rambling.
i am eighteen years old and enrolled at a community college for now, though i plan on transferring to george mason university to get a degree in linguistics and russian language! i have absolutely no clue whatsoever what i want to do with that degree, but translating or doing embassy work would be fun.
i'm also double-minoring in creative writing and native american studies!
my dream is, and has always been, being apart of marvel comics group and working on their creative team as a publisher and/or an author - but it's a competitive business and i'm not half as good at writing as i like to think i am.
i just really, really like comics. it's quite pathetic.
um, i've been in a lovely relationship for a little over three years with a fabulous young man who listens intently when i read him my fanfics and tell him about one on ones i'm doing (honestly, i doubt he's listening to me, he's probably just looking at me and thinking about snacks, but he seems rather supportive of my hobbies, so i'm not going to complain) and i don't know, he's a stand-up guy.
i'm generally unassuming and too nice for my own good, and i look forward to getting to know you all!
so i'm going to let this introduction end the way it began: awkwardly, and leave it at that.

(oh my god i am just kidding i have like 0% diva in me i just really like skrulls.)
ugh, it's so unrealistic though, hahah. i wanted to do the internship with marvel so bad but living in new york city without pay for 3 months would be torture, even if i would be doing something i loved, but hey! most of the greats (well, i don't consider them all that great - except for deconnick and remender) that are more recent authors didn't do internships, so there is always hope!
i have a feeling your boyfriend and i would get along so well, haha. jamey does the same thing and i want to be annoyed, but i can't, because at least he's putting in some effort to at least appear attentive!
but thank you very much for the links - i have them all bookmarked on my browser and will definitely be using them as i need them! it's greatly appreciated!
