A lone vampire hunter comes to find love with a human, but little does he know, his beloved will be taken and changed into something he has a natural hate for; A vampire.
The night was yet young
Preparations were being processed
Scott moved back and forth, east and west throughout his apartment
This part of the day was always the most reckoning to him
Though it was still soon for him to head out, a false move could end his life
This move could be a simple lack of materials
"Onions: Check. Arrows: Check. Stake: Check" and the list went on
The final piece was the cross that hung by a small leather necklace around his throat
It was made of pure lead, though the effectiveness didn't come from the metalic alloid, but from the symbolism the crest pursued
Scott also wore a small bible in his back pocket
The passage of grace and prosperity could always come in handy in his line of work
Hours passed and it seemed time to head out
Scott left his apartment, locking the door behind him and headed to the night club
"Time to hunt" he told himself as he took seat upon his newly refurbished harley davidson
Azera stood behind the bar, mixing drinks for humans and vampires. She could always tell them apart, because most of the time the vampires would wear contacts to hide their true eye colors, and she could see the thin line around the iris. The music was loud, and she had to shout to respond to each person. She smiled, enjoying the night life.
She danced a bit as she continued making drinks, her black, green and white hair falling easily around her bare shoulders. She wore a strapless top and a pair of skinny jeans with calf high leather boots. She often found herself surprised when the vampires didn't ever attack any humans in the club, but she figured if they were stupid enough to come in here thirsty, that was their problem.
A male vampire walked up to the bar and took a seat at the stool, looking her up and down gently. He ordered a simple rum and coke from her, and a shot of tequila. Azera smirked a little, and poured the drink for him, handing it over as he gave her the money. He could tell she knew what he really was, "Pretty brave if you ask me. Pretty little human, bar tending to all these blood thirsty vamps," he said, a smirk on his lips.
"Yeah, well I have yet to encounter a dangerous one. I plan to keep it that way. Plus, you fascinate me." she spoke to him honestly.
The loud bangs of the music harmed Scott's ears as he entered the club
This was not his type of crowd that surrounded this colesseum
Then again, seventy-five percent of the 'people' were blood sucking monsters
Scott's eyes were always sensetive, so these array of lights would cause a discomfort to his vision
Anyhow, Scott entered normally
He paid his entry, dressed appropriatly to his surrounding, and did his best to blend with the taste of these people
As he made his way to the bar, he could already smell the wrath within these demons
He could tell the difference between the humans and the vampires
The stagger of steps, the broad shoulders compared to the slouch of most humans, the light and pale skin tone of vamps, there were many difference between the races and Scott could decipher them all
Once he reached the bar he waited on the bartender to tend to him
The variety of choice was quite unique
There were many mixtures and possiblities of drinks behind that large enlongated table that seperated him from the booze
He was not certain of what he would have, due to his lack of visits to bars
Azera turned her attention to the male that had sat down, and walked over towards him. The vampire she had just been serving watched her carefully for a few moments as she walked away, and he turned his attention then to other things.
"Ayo! What can I get yuh?" she asked him, smiling happily. She took in his appearance and smiled again, though this time to herself.
Scott turned up to see the bartender ahead of him
He swallowed before speaking
Her hair was quite amusing to see
It was of many colors and strange, yet extraordinary in its own way
Her clean cheeks and skin tone would add to that extraordinary sensation Scott was feeling then
His arm the bent over his head, as his hand scratched in confussion of what to pick
"Ummm.........How bout some....water?" he asked
It was strange to come to a bar and drink water, but he wasn't much of being under the influece
The fact that he had a terrible metabolism wouldn't be on his side
She shook her head slightly and chuckled to herself, grabbing a glass and filling it with ice. She slowly poured water into the glass and looked up with her green eyes at him. She slid the glass across the bar gently, "Not much of a drinker eh? That's alright, sometimes it's fun to just people watch. More fun than drinking if you ask me," she said, smirking a bit. "What brings you here?" she asked, curious as to why he had come if it wasn't to drink, and also curious as to why he had come alone, though knew it was none of her business.
Azera looked around, noting everyone at least had one other person with them. She turned her attention back to him.
Scott took a sip of his cup of water
The freezing sensation rushed throughout his entire body, giving him shivers
"Im just here to have a fun time" he lied with a smile
That smile was a complete giveaway that he was not speaking the truth
"Actually im here on a business trip. Im suppose to be meeting someone here"
Scott reached into his pocket and pulled out a small picture of a bald pale man with a goatee surrounding his lips
"Have you seen this man?" he asked Azera
Azera took the picture gently from his hands, and studied it in silence for a few moments. She smirked again slightly, and pointed over to the male vampire she had served before, who was just finishing up his rum and coke, and staring intently at a female dancer.
"That's him, right over there," she said. She wondered what a human could possibly want with a vampire, what business they could be dealing. Her eyes narrowed slightly towards the second man, unsure now for a moment. The music continued to blast around them, and the lights flashing around switched to black light, causing anything white to glow brightly.
Scott turned to the man
His eyes narrowed as his brows came together into anger
He frowned as his hand started to tingle with rush to end the encounter
Scott's eyes turned back to the beautiful bartender
"Maadam, I thank you for your hospitality, but I believe it's closing time"
He pulled out a hidden stake he had beneath his jackets' sleeve, but nobody could yet see it in his grasp
"I believe it's time for you to get going, it's getting quite late" Scott smiled as once again he turned to the vampire with a frown
He quickly took in his glass of water and stood from his seat as he slowly walked towards the vampire
"Jeremy Hudson, your reign has come to an end!" Scott yelled over the loud echoes of music
Only Jeremy turned to see Scott
But once that occurred, it was too late to act
A stake pierced the vampires chest, causing ash to stimulate throughout his entire stature
People and vampires freaked from the incident
A mob of humans ran out the exit, some achieving the task, others trempled on by the herd
Vampires would gaze at Scott and wait for an opening to attack without revealing themselves as vampires to the rest of the humans
Within minutes the dance floor was empty
Some vampires took advantage of the situation and fed upon vulnerable humans, but the others rushed to attack Scott
The one vampire that went by the name of Jeremy had been completely eradicated
Three vamps attacked Scott at once
One by one they fell as Scott dodged their attacks and countered with that wooden stake
The stake was covered with holy water to give it an extra boost of advantage
Other vampires who had seen their brothers fall decided to vanquish themselves from the party
They were not stupid enough to battle a prepared vampire hunter when their outcome would be death
After the four vampires had fallen, the place was empty
Scott decided to clean up the mess left by the vampires ashes because it was him who did it
Afterwards, he might decide and have a drink
