In the most deserted part of Earth there is a hidden valley which leads to a magical gate. On the other side of the magical gate stands a gigantic graveyard which reaches further then the eye can see. In this land where only graves and mist are always present riches of all kinds can be found, but sometimes the dead demand a price for the wealth they hold. And then there are the Gravekeepers, which don't look at outsiders nicely, actually they kill them. But still many outsiders come, lured by the promise of fortune, but only a few return to Earth to tell the tale...
The Graveyard is a site where countless dead lay. It's layout is simple and repetitive with one grave taking 6.66 by 3.33 meters areas and separated by 99.9 cm between them in all directions, this layout and the fog make getting lost in the Graveyard quite easy. Sometimes the are on which a grave should be is taken by towers in which the Gravekeepers live and which rise 13 m high above the ground. Also the whole Graveyard is always covered in a mist and has high trees plated over large areas of it.
How did the Graveyard come to exist or what are the Gravekeepers is a mystery which hunts the few survivors which came back from the Graveyard. But one think is for sure, if one needs something it can be found in one of the graves in the Graveyard, but the problem is that sometimes the dead don't give their things easily. And you are never sure in which grave is the thing that you search for.
And then there are the natives, creatures and monsters of all kinds which eat human meat or don't like them coming into the Graveyard. Without mercy they will kill any human that they see.

Before going to the CS a few words about the Gravekeepers.
The Gravekeepers are a race of artificial humanoids which is in charge of cleaning the Graveyard of any impurities, be it humans or the monsters which inhabit the Graveyard. Their souls are made out of torn of parts of other souls and most of them have little to no feelings. Their names usually come from a feat which they done in the past or from an action which they do often. Also the Gravekeepers don't age, need food or water and their sense of pain is dulled out. They inhabit Towers around the Graveyard and one tower has four Gravekeepers living in it. Each tower has a number and each Gravekeeper in it gets a random ancient Greek letter assigned to him and it's that Gravekeeper's official designation. Before going to the CS a few words about the natives.
The natives of the Graveyard are mostly insentient monsters but there is quite a few of them which are quite smart. Those resemble a combination of demonic or evil beings for Earth's mythology like Youkai, Oni, Demons, Witches, Devils and so on. Your character can be based on a member of one of those races. Those live in villages which are build around the trees.

Some humans, natives and even Gravekeepers were unfortunate enough to fall against whatever the dead threw at them. Some died, but many became zombies or got possessed by the dead becoming non-aging undead wanderers which roam the Graveyard to look for new food or some other reasons without any memories of their lives before they died. Since there is no point in being a brain-dead zombie you can be a soul possessing a body.

Colman was in his life a quite cold and unforgiving man, he was eventually exiled from his homeland due to a dispute over particularly farmland that his father had split according to him unfairly and that he should be granted additional acreage. Colman ended up slaying his brother in a duel but being run out of the kingdom, eventually striking a deal that if he were to bring the Holy Grail to the pope he would be acquitted of all his crimes.
Colman eventually found himself directed towards a valley far from civilization where he was told stories of fame and fortune which might include the Grail. Colman entered the gate and only lasted for seven days before finally being overwhelmed and killed by zombies.
Colman existed as a soul for a short time before eventually possessing his own body and once again searching the graveyard. After all this time he has come to terms with not only his own death but the unlikely chance that he will ever be freed from the graveyard. His cold personality has changed into one of partial resentment and scorn for the living. He enjoys playing around with humans and pretending to be friendly just enough to get them to lower their guards before he kills them. Colman has long forgotten about his quest other than the fact that at one point he had a purpose, to find something and do something with what/whomever it might be.

Combat Skills:Knows how to use said two handed sword but took part in many battles during his life as well as consistently refreshing those skills over time slaying countless humans wielding more modern weaponry.
Magic or undead skills:Colman has no real 'magic' skills with the exception of his undeath making his extremely hard to kill(although limbs can be sliced off and take time to reattach)
Survival Skills:Over 400 years of not needing to eat, sleep or perform most other functions that would require 'survival' Colman has no true survivalist skills.

Personality: He is a lazy kind of guy, can be a strategist but tends to use simple tactics as they come easier, he is usually joking around in a conversation and is somewhat sarcastic

Weapon(s): a standard blade with a long cord attached to its hilt, the cord is laced in metal so is very hard to break, he also wears metal plated shoes, if those count
Combat Skills: his father taught him when he was young to fight and along his travels has toughened up, he has become adept in a custom fighting style using metal plated shoes a sword and a chain
Survival Skills: lived most of his teen and adult life traveling so he is accustomed to holding on by a thread to survive

Bio: Jason wandered into the graveyard when he was a little boy. Only at age 4. He was playing in a field with his friends when he accidentally crossed that line. He was walking and came into contact with HellSpawn. Who needed a human host. Instantly the demon manifested itself inside Jason's body. The demon made the boy stuck in the graveyard. Endlessly wandering around. HellSpawn allows Jason control over his own body whenever they are just wandering around. Whenever HellSpawn takes over, the boy's body is changed me he loses control. It is HellSpawn who is in control.
Personality: Jason is almost a hollow shell. He is lost and scared of everything now. Especially other humans.
HellSpawn is sadistic. He loves the torcher and fear of those he brings the pain on. He attacks almost everything and is willing to kill ruthlessly. He brings about everybody's worst fears.

Bio: Yai is the fourth daughter of the Nayirs village chief. Her uprising was harsh and cold, since Yai was never supposed to be born, only her large magical potential, discovered when she was 29, made the treatment towards her a little less harsh. Yai just graduated the village school and it is on her way towards the City of Garen to enroll in a school there.
Personality: Although there are emotional scars hidden deep inside her she is a easygoing, cheerful person which gladly shows kindness towards others.

Vampire Body - Vampires have powerful regeneration abilities, allowing them to regenerate quickly even if a large part of their body gets destroyed, there are much faster the humans and have sharper senses while their eyes can hypnotize humans and see what is hidden by magic and their blood will turn other creatures into partly vampiric beings
Vampire Bite - Like all vampires Yai can suck life force form other beings to boost her own power and regeneration
Vampire Marionette - This ability allows vampires to control those which were bitten by them for a few hours
Vampire Kiss - This ability allows vampires to share their life force with other beings, by means of a simple kiss, healing and powering them up
Vampire Servant - If a vampire gives his blood to a human which was previously bitten by the same vampire the human becomes a servant of the vampire and gains vampire-like abilities
Vampire Transformation - Vampires can transform into one or more bats, with the maximal number increasing as a vampire grows stronger and older (one per each decade of the vampire's life)
Ice & Wind Magic - Yai learned those two from a Satori (type of Youkai) which serves as the village healer.
