REMINDER: Plagiarism
Plagiarizing is bad!
I find it very sad that I need to do this, but as a reminder to everyone. Plagiarism is not and has never been acceptable on Guild. Copying and pasting someone else's post or writing from ANYWHERE is Plagiarism. Word for word or even if some words are changed. It is in NO WAY acceptable. This also goes for Artwork. Please get permission from the original author or artist and in the least give proper credit to the person. NEVER claim it as your own work. No one likes their work claimed and stolen by someone else. As writers, we all should understand this. It feels pointless to find myself in the situation where I need to remind you of this. We take this VERY seriously. Users Plagiarizing WILL be found and will be dealt with accordingly. Just don't do it.

This seriously happened?
*facepalm*

Wait.
*reads again*
what?
-
Yes it happened. And the original author found out and came and reported it.

Internet be a small world, and this is a prime example of it.

Like artists, authors can drag their texts into google and quickly find if their material is being used and abused elsewhere. This is a simple, free ability to counter plagiarism, textual or pictorial. I highly suggest everyone do the same now and then with their own work.

It's sad that people would even do this in the first place. *sigh*

Happens. I once saw one of my roleplays being used on another RP site- exact same concept and title and everything... right down to the CS requirements. :/ I think it got removed, though.

Lolwat.
That is sad. What is the point of going on a roleplay site if you don't want to write? O_o
