They've had a good run, they won't want to ruin it by overstaying their welcome (as this show is sort of Gatiss' and Mofatt's baby), and the main actors are getting far too busy to likely commit to another season (because it's almost like filming 3 movies a year -- each episode is the length of a movie). Looking at the clues they chose to give, I'm pretty sure it's leaning that way, too.. I love the show and I'd love to see more, but I'd rather it go out on a high note, instead of potentially going down in quality over time..Quote:
