So today I found out
that my playwriting professor has worked with the guy who created the Home Improvement show. As in, years ago, my professor cast him in a play he directed. Then years later he went and created Home Improvement and a number of other shows (forgot the names of the other few). Oh, also, he's worked with Angeline Jolie (I believe he taught her how to rollerskate for a film role), Stephen Sondheim (musical composer), and David Copperfield.
..... And he's also the director for the play I was just cast in.
This guy.

Ha. I remember that show.. Don't know if I ever would have thought about it again, if not for this post. (Now I kind of want to watch an episode or two. lol)

Wow, talk about your luck, Taaja! I'm jealous. >_<

He's a super fantastic guy. I was in his playwriting class my freshman year of college, too, and we were required to go to some of the theatre productions, and I went with a friend, and he gave us free tickets :) Also, he said he might want to produce one of my plays next year :D

I'm starting to realize what important people I've been working with for the last few years. o____o Last semester I took a dance class with the woman who runs part of the Alvin Ailey Dance Company in Chicago. She was scary as hell to learn from, but she gave me a hug at the end of the semester. :3
