[Casual] Classic High School-type RP, Anyone?
Hullo there! I'm Owl, and I am currently in search of a partner (or a few) for some 1X1 high school stuff! The mood has just struck recently, y'know? (Note: Romance will very probably be included, unless we come up with something good that doesn't involve the lovey dovey stuff.)
Some important things:
-I'm looking for males at the moment, pretty please! I play girls. If playing multiple characters is appropriate for what we're doing, I'm down with that, too.
-I don't do sex scenes. No exceptions. We might allude to something happening, but I won't explicitly play that sort of thing out.
-You may have noticed that this thread is marked as casual; however, I believe in quality over quantity. Your post could be three sentences long, just as long as it contains good grammar, spelling, punctuation, and there was obviously some thought and an effort to continue the plot or develop a character/relationship put into it. (That said, I won't murder you over some typos or mistakes. Those happen to the best of us.)
-I prefer RPing on a thread (as opposed to PM, email, etc.)
-I'm alright with cursing and violence, so long as it isn't senseless.
-I'd like some commitment here, please. If you decide to drop because you're busy or not having fun or whatever, I totally understand; just give me a heads up, 'kay? Also, warn me if you'll be gone for more than a day or two, and I'll do the same for you.
I think that about covers it. . . If I think of anything else, you'll definitely be told! ^.^ Now for the fun stuff. As far as plot and such, I was thinking a very classic (not cliche, but classic! ...Okay, maybe a bit cliche) high school/boarding school RP. I'd be willing to do college, too, if you were really passionate about the idea. I'm up for loads of pairings: almost anything you can think of (though I like to keep it MxF, thank you), including relationships that are strictly platonic.
That being said, if you manage to come up with something that I'm not cool with, I hope you can respect that and we can move on to a different idea. I'll give you that sort of respect as well. I'd like our RP to be plot driven. It's fun to just wing it and let characters do what they do, but having a main conflict and a few basic plot points to keep in focus as we RP always helps keep things driven and interesting. ^.^
