So, the IRC link has been gone from the front page for awhile and just thought it would be nice if it was brought back there. It would get new people onto IRC again and be very convenient so on a different computer I do not have to google Harsh and then use the link in his signature.
In the meantime you can find the link to the IRC in the New users Guide in the intro section. It is under the hider called "Other Useful Links."
That is honestly even less convenient than googling "Harsh roleplayerguild," clicking the first link, and then clicking Harsh's signature.
Probably, but it is what we've got for now.
Understandable, I do not expect an immediate fix but I just feel it would be appreciated if in the near future we could get a link back up on the front page.
You could always bookmark it. That's what I did.
Agreed, it'd be good to have it linked on the front page again. Only those who already know that the IRC chat exists will know to look for it, having nothing on the front page means new people have no idea there's a chat.
Unless they read the guide like they are supposed to.
And how few people actually do what they're supposed to? :p
True enough. But I do think that there should be a easier place to find the link. But that is something only 2 people can really do.
