Arrrrrg, he be the first mate

Trixxy was not born a vampire for he was bitten at the age of eighteen. He was the son of a wealthy french man but left france when he was changed. After not being in france for a hundred years, he no longer has the accent, but can easily have a british and french accent when wants. It was a while ago when he meet that captain and they took the to the seas together.

Trixy is a very complex personvampirething. Not as complex as the captain though. He pretty easy-going and laid back....when things go his way.

PROTETTORE ROUSSEAU

Protettore, or Tori, is Trixxtal's nephew and a pureblood vampire. Up until their capture, he lived with his parents in Italy, living a seeming normal life until pirates raided his town and took his parents. Now he travels with Jecht and Trixxtal in search for his parents.

Captain of the FlyingDeath

Ah, the captain of the vampirates aboard his ship, how many pages does his life story have? Countless years of existing certainly makes him full of interesting stories that he could share to the crew and the humans. The most interesting? Why, Jecht ran away with his best friend Trixxy and together they took over a pirate ship and made their own crew!
He makes sure that the humans don't die because that means he and his fellow vampires starve. He finds it lulzworthy that people fear him so much and wonders how they started. Perhaps its his randomness, such as playing "battleship" with real bombs on other ships.
Another thing, Jecht has issues. One minute he's compassionate and gentle and the next he's cruel and cold. This happened because you see, dear Jecht was not born a vampire. When he was human he was raised to believe that vampires were evil creatures, so when a vampire changed him and forever froze him in his young body he rejected his vampire instincts. That made his personality all whack. Yeah.
Anyhow, even though Jecht is captain and Trixxtal is first mate, look closely at the two vampires and you'll see whose really in charge of their strange relationship.

Fenrir is a natural born alpha werewolf and it's in his instinct to always take charge of a situation. He is at his most strongest when he has a pack to lead which is why he's accepted other species into his crew, human and supernatual alike. Although he is their captain and alpha, most of his past is relatively unknown to everyone on the ship. It is common knowledge amongst them that Fenrir's last pack were killed by a group of hunters though, which lead him ditch his old life and become a pirate.

Just like you'd expect from an alpha, Fenrir is a force to be reckoned with, emotionally and physically. He's as stubborn as they come and even if he's wrong about something, it's his way or the highway. But he isn't a complete heartless robot because he does care a great deal about his pack and will defend them to the death if need be.

He and his crew are infamous across the seas for their cut throat ways, though most humans and untrained creatures often confuse them for being a gang of vampirates. Mostly because of his sharp teeth and long nails are similar to one, but also because it is unusual for a werewolf to be pirate in the first place. When it gets towards the full moon, they return to an island called Never Island where Fenrir can live out his mandatory full moon werewolf transformation and then return to the sea afterwards.

Currently, after raiding a small port, Fenrir and his crew came across a family of vampires and took them aboard their ship for reasons unknown, leaving their small son behind. They are making their way back to Never Island with the two vampires in tow....

Freya and Fenrir fell in love at an early age, quickly finding out that they were destined mates. This was unusual, however, because it was rare for werewolves to mate with a different species, much less a human. But once Fenrir chose Freya, his pack had no choice but accept their alpha's choice. They lived together in harmony and were even thinking about starting a family together, until a group of hunters came into town. Fenrir was lead away from his pack by a series of tricks and by the time he figured out their purpose, it was too late; Freya and the rest of the pack were dead.

Afterwards, Fenrir swore to himself that he would find a way to bring his lost love back from the dead. While sailing the seas, he came across a mysterious wizard who knew a man who knew a spell to revive the deceased, but it would involve gathering items from all across the world and opening the gates to the afterlife. But Fenrir was determined to bring Freya back, thus prompting him to go on his quest in search of the items.

REGULUS VOYD

Regulus' human father was a shit head who gambled away the family's fortune and his mother was a succubus who abandoned Regulus on his father's doorstep. His father being a rich douchebag who cared only about himself, didn't want to take care of the demon child, so he decided to give his only son away as payment for his gambling debts. Instead of growing up as nobility, Regulus became a slave and often changed masters growing up. A few months ago, his last master gave him to Fenrir's pirate crew for reasons Regulus was not told.

He both respects and hates the pirate captain. Respect, for the werewolf's power and for allowing Regulus joining as a pirate over remaining a slave. Hate, because he can't stand the werewolf's personality. He despises having to follow anyone's orders, but will angrily obey Fenrir without much resistance.

Despite being nineteen years old, people sometimes tease Regulus with the nickname "Little Reggie". The name infuriates him. He hates being treated like a child, like

nothing. Regulus acts obedient and holds his tongue to avoid abuse. Beneath his polite, quiet and friendly exterior there exists rage and schemes of vengeance

against the people who turned him into a slave.

He hates his "father's filthy blood" running through his veins and the weaknesses he has for being part human, but enjoys the stronger demon half of him that inherited powers from his mother.

GWENDOLYN

Gwendolyn may seem like an average fifteen year old girl, but little do people know that her, along with a group of her best friends, sold their souls for an afterlife of

to become
MAGICAL GIRLS.

Their powers range from weak to strong and Gwendolyn's seem to be a little below average. Still, she can cast basic spells and can summon small monsters to help her attack or defend. Fenrir helped her in a battle once, when she was cornered by some trolls, and invited her to be one of his crew members, not because he liked her personality, but because he needed a magic user and a healer on board. She agreed and has been traveling with him ever since. She is sickeningly sweet and kind of annoying and the pirate life does not suit her one bit, but she's trying to become darker person, even though she can't even bring herself to harm a human yet or any kind of being for that matter.

Dromena Fantine

She is the first mate of Fenrir's pirate crew and goes by either her first name, Dromena, or her last name, Fantine. She prefers to be called Fantine.

Dromena is a fairy.

Originally, she was a tiny creature like others of her kind and one day while she ventured from her home, a hunter trapped Dromena in a bottle. Sometime later, a wizard came across the bottled fairy for sale in a marketplace and became infatuated with the tiny fairy at first glance. He bought the bottle and, while she was still prisoner inside the glass, poured a love potion and did not release her until she drank it. Bewitched by the potion, Dromena did not fly away and stayed with the wizard. Then the wizard performed a ritual that made Dromena the size of a human because he hoped to marry her, but his family would not approve of him marrying a tiny little fairy. The ritual succeeded so after years of being together he proposed to Dromena, who was still under the spell of the love potion, and she agreed. On the day of their wedding, the wizard felt guilty about giving her a love potion and decided to give her the antidote, knowing he could not live with himself for forcing her to marry him. Standing together in a rose garden that they planned to be married in, the wizard apologized to her for forcing her to stay with him. The love potion wore off, along with Dromena's intentions of marriage. Dromena did not forgive him and she flew away from the garden, leaving the wizard silently standing alone in anguish. However, her flight from him was the first instance of using her enlarged fairy wings in public. She caught the attention of hunters and, again, was captured before she could fly away. Since she was human sized, instead of trapping her inside a bottle, to keep her from escaping Dromena's wings were ripped out from her back and she was thrown into a cage. Unknown to the hunters, losing their wings meant death for a fairy, and she slowly began to die from blood loss and from the loss of her wings.

However, moments away from death, the wizard appeared covered in the blood of the now dead hunters who had captured her. He released her from the cage and quickly embraced her in a hug, beginning to glow faintly as he spoke his last words. "I am sorry to have to cast another spell on you, Dromena...but I truly do love you. This is for you..."he whispered to her before doing one final spell. Dromena only remembered a flash of light and after a moment she had the wizard's corpse in her arms. She did not understand why she was no longer dying despite losing her wings, but she concluded that the wizard did a spell that sacrificed his life in exchange for protecting her from death. Even though she was still angry about his manipulations, Dromena was thankful for his sacrifice. She grieved for him and after his funeral, she left the city in an attempt to forget what happened.

She began to go by "Fantine" since the name Dromena reminded her too much of the wizard who loved and died for her. An outcast from other fairies due to her size and lack of wings, Fantine traveled to many places. During her journey, she realized she could do some of the magic the wizard was able to do, though not as powerful as him so she preferred using her fairy abilities. In an effort to keep herself from ever being captured again, Fantine trained for years and became skilled in combat and crafting her own weapons, which caught the attention of Fenrir. She joined his pirate crew because she loves to fight, wanted reasons to test her weapons, and had nothing else better to do with her life since she couldn't go back to the other fairies.

MORTE NOTT
A selfish, manipulative dark wizard who rarely did anything good in his life. Throughout his whole life, both people attempted to kill him but nobody succeeded. No matter how many times he was burned at the stake, beheaded, or attacked, Morte always somehow survived and regenerated. He always got his revenge afterwards.

Morte was ruthless, closed off to everyone with the exception of his family. He adored his family, the only people in his world that did not try to end his life. His mother urged him to stop being such an antisocial killer and to go find a nice partner to settle down with. Wishing to obey his darling mother but not wanting to find some stupid man or woman who would try to kill him in his sleep, Morte was conflicted about what to do. He was still an asshole but he tended to show a softer side to his family and they could see through his cold exterior. Morte was secretly a hardcore mama's boy and did not want to displease his family. He contemplated his choices one day as he strolled down the black market to buy human limbs and body parts of other creatures for his dark magic sacrificial rituals, when he noticed a tiny little fairy trapped in a bottle. Instantly he felt a connection, knowing that she was his soulmate, so he bought the bottled fairy. Not wanting to risk losing his soul mate, usually very difficult for someone to find, he refused to release her until she drank a love potion. Afterwards, Morte performed a ritual on the fairy to make her an appropriate height and to make sure she could not leave him by restricting her fairy powers. He was a selfish bastard and of course made sure the fairy, who introduced herself as Dromena, did not know that. His family, especially his mother, was happy that he actually found a girl to bring home who he did not want to murder. Morte was unsure if he wanted to marry Dromena, however, so he "dated" her at first to see if he could get along with her and to test how long his love potions lasted.

During the years they "dated", Morte genuinely fell in love with her and treated her even better than he treated his family but knew that he was in love with the Dromena who was manipulated by the potion. He considered releasing her from his spell. Plus, she was beginning to gain immunity from the potion and its duration was becoming shorter and shorter after each dosage. On the day of their supposed wedding, he decided to give her the antidote to the love potion, secretly hoping she would stay anyways and had fallen in love with him on her own somehow. He was not surprised when that did not happen and she left him. Morte, in pain over his love and soulmate leaving, decided to stalk her to make sure that nobody else could get to her. Unfortunately, some hunters captured her and while he was busy killing most of them, a few of them escaped him and got away with her. Furious that he had failed her, he did not rest until he located the hunters who took away Dromena and happily killed them when he discovered their hideout. To his horror, when he found his precious fairy, she was dying because the fools ripped out her wings. Morte finally did one good in his life when he decided to cast a spell on Dromena that would save her. He said his farewell to her before he poured a portion of his soul into her own, a forbidden spell he could only perform because they were soulmates, his soul acting as a replacement for the magic held in the fairy's wings that kept her alive.

In the end, Morte's life was ended by his own choice and not by the many assassins out to kill him. He never thought that love would be his downfall, but Morte greeted death like an old friend and did not regret his decision to die for Dromena as he passed on into the afterlife, dying in his lover's arms.

CEPHEUS ROSS

Cepheus is a pirate on Jecht's crew. He is an excellent theif and is very skilled in stealth, as well as in charge of keeping inventory of everything on the pirate ship since Jecht sure as hell isn't going to act like a secretary. Cepheus is extremely polite to everyone on the crew and is generally a calm, collected person. He is one of the few members who is not a vampire and is actually a human, although what keeps him from being locked away with other humans on the ship is the fact that he is cursed and also trusted not to escape. Cepheus was bitten by the three headed hellhound named Cerberus, the guardian of the gate that lead's to the demon's realm, Hell. The bite turned him into a grim, a hellhound that is basically Cerberus' puppy. They are not as powerful as their creator and just look like huge black dogs, but have a venomous bite that means instant death to many creatures. Grims have two forms: their original form and hellhound form. Cepheus is completely human in his original form and the only clue to him being supernatural is that he heals faster than normal creatures. He can turn into the black dog whenever he wants and cannot turn other creatures into grims, unlike wearwolves.

He was bitten by Cerberus because one day, Cepheus accidently fell into a gate that lead to Hell. He was the assistant to a necromancer that decided to summon a powerful demon to control, but the demon retaliated and killed the necormancer and Cepheus fell into the gate during the battle. He was spared by Cerberus due to a pact they decided to make. Cerberus would give him power and protection by turning him into a grim and basically adopting Cepheus as his child, meaning other demons would be more likely to leave him alone. In exchange, Cepheus just had to send him souls once in awhile. Every murder he commits using the grim's vemon would send the soul to Cerberus. Therefore, he decided to become a pirate since he figured he could get away with more murders that way.

Cepheus and Jecht have a bond, meaning that Cepheus' is Jecht's blood donor whenever the vampire needs to feed. The two can always find each other no matter what and Cepheus can sense when Jecht needs blood while Jecht can sense when another vampire tries to take Cepheus' blood without consent. Cepheus is a useful asset to Jecht, since his blood replenishes more quickly than regular humans. He has enough power to take care of himself and, due to the bond, he developed an odd friendship with Jecht, which is why Cepheus can roam wherever he wants.

Is sometimes addressed by the nickname "CeCe"

ALEXANDRE & GIANNA ROUSSEAU

Alexandre is Trixxtal's younger brother and was changed into a vampire the same time he was. But unlike him, Alexandre stayed in France and looked after their dying parents. Soon after their death, Alexandre changed his last name to Rousseau to protect their youngest brother, Louis, so he could live a normal life and not be connected to vampires. Alexandre left France and began to travel the world and ended up meeting Gianna in Italy. She is a pureblood vampire and comes from a long line of purebloods, so she was cast out when she married Alexandre. They settled down in a small town, disguising themselves within the humans, and had a son which they named Protettore.

Jecht can't pronounce his name for shit so he calls him Charlie and the nickname stuck.

Charlie is a vampire who was born in Japan, where his mother is from. He grew up in a peaceful village with his family and his best friend Koji. Unfortunately a vampire attacked the village one night and turned Charlie into a vampire. He hated that he became a vampire and refused to drink human blood and become a monster. Sadly, he succumbed to bloodlust and killed Koji by draining him of all his blood. Charlie was distraught when he regained his sense and what had happened. He begged his parents to kill him before he did the same thing to them. His parents, who loved him dearly, decided to flee from Japan by moving to Europe in his father's old home. Charlie routinely drank his parents' blood in order to avoid having to feed off of random people but they eventually died of old age.

Having outlived his parents and not knowing what to do after depending on them for so long, he became depressed and resisted feeding again. Charlie started to accidently kill again and he would have gone insane from the guilt if he wasn't found by the vampirates crew. Jecht recruited him to become a pirate and had the other vampires on the ship teach him how to be a proper vampire. Learning how to control his bloodlust helped Charlie cope and he is literally the sweetest boy you will ever meet, but he still acts depressed all the time. He is usually the vampire that stays behind the ship and guards it when the other vampires leave for business on land. He misses his best friend terribly.
