Darkened Future- A Science Fiction Apocalypse RP

You awake with filth covering your body. You know you've been moved back into Armistice. Around you lies your fellow exiles. You examine the environment, and hear the sounds of shouting. The Executioners are fighting the Pure-bloods. You know you shouldn't go back after all you've done. You turn to the other direction, and see the Brainless coming your way. What do you do?

Boomer shook his head groggily. He didn't understand why he had been forcibly removed from The Pure-Bloods. Sure, he had blown up the house of his commanding officer (again). But he had deserved it. Boomer sighed. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw a swarm of Brainless. This wasn't good. He saw others around him - maybe they could help him fight. He threw a small, lit firecracker in the air in order to quickly rouse the others.

Leila woke to the sound of an explosion. She smelt the air: sulphur dioxide, a rudimentary bomb. Did she fall asleep in the lab again? No, the ground was too dirty. She opened her eyes and glanced around. Her evaluating gaze took in her surroundings. Laying next to her was a person, she couldn't tell their gender at the moment and she didn't much care; her sights were set on the oncoming horde. She had fought a few brainless before, even caught one to look at his chemical structure, however she had never seen this many in one place before. She pulled herself up. One other person awake, perhaps even alive, he was probably the one who woke her.

Leila brought herself back to the current predicament: the superpowered madmen coming for her. She retrieved her hat from the dirt, brushed some of the filth off and placed it on her head at a jaunty angle. She turned to her apparent ally with a smile on her face.
"Yo, Bomb-boy! Any idea how to stop a rampaging horde of brainless?" Her strong English accent drawled.

A loud whistle and crack brought Stella out of her unconscious state. Her eyes flew open, and she immediately rolled into a crouch, instinctively getting out of her previously defenseless position. Breathing heavily, she scanned her surroundings, her mind still fogged with sleep. Her confusion began to clear as she heard the sounds of battle to her right, where Executioners were battling her former faction. Shaking her head, she looked to her left, and cursed, finding nothing less than a horde of Brainless.
"Just my damned luck..." She growled, reaching for her pistol. Again, she scanned her surroundings in greater detail, not looking specifically for threats this time. She was surrounded by several other exiles, most of which were still unconscious. Could she save them all?
No. The best she could do was try to wake them, she couldn't risk her own life for their hides.
A distinctly British accent tore through the air, and Stella looked up, surprised to find a conscious woman behind the voice. Further away still was another male, fully awake. Glancing around her again, Stella let out a suffering sigh, and stood to make her way towards them.
As she walked, she aimed for hands and fingers, hoping to jolt some of these people awake without breaking any digits.

A slight rustling from behind Leila to spin on the spot, drawing and extending her shining staff as she did so... however much it would do to a brainless anyway. What she saw was definitely not brainless.
"Ah! Another guest for our jolly party! Sorry that I'm the one greeting you; our original host seems to be resting."
She motioned towards the other conscious member of the group. She then shifted her staff to her left hand, resting it on her shoulder as she stuck her right hand out to shake.
"Leila DeLisle. A pleasure, I'm sure."

"Ugh..." Lang groaned, "It's too early." Lang groggily opened his eyes, and noted his surroundings. The sound of fighting, and, a hoard of Brainless being fought against. "Now that's just great..." he complained, "I wake up, I get attacked, and I'm surrounded who knows who."
He gripped his pistol, and pulled it out, shooting one of the creatures in the process. "Go away you dumb things, I wanna go back to sleep!"

Boomer noted that a good number of the company had come round, and gave a quick introduction.

"I'm Boomer. Let's fight!"

He then whipped a stick of dynamite out of his satchel, and threw it at a group of nearby Brainless.

"FIGHT FOR YOUR LIVES!"

Boomer ran away from the party, taking the Brainless head-on, throwing lit sticks of dynamite as fast as he could draw them from his seemingly bottomless satchel.

"Well... I admire the enthusiasm."
Leila followed Boomer, knocking a brainless to the ground with her staff, then force-feeding the stunned creature a homemade grenade and danced away, blowing a kiss to her unfortunate victim just before his chest exploded. She quickly moved onto her next target, attaching another chemical weapon to his chest. This time, it was a potent mixture of napalm and magnesium which easily burnt through the zombie's skin and lungs.
The creature screamed as it tried to rip the fire bomb from its chest. "Get... it... OFF!"
Leila however just giggled. "But you seem so attached to it! The two of you have real chemistry! I can feel theheat between you both! You can actually see the sparks flying!" She glanced at her allies who were still busy fighting. "Oh, come on! You guys suck."
With that, she went back to work on the Brainless horde.

"Oh ha ha ha ha," Lang deadpanned, "Yay, for chemistry jokes. Now, only if I cared enough about chemistry to laugh."
Lang turned towards a Brainless walking towards him. "Nice weather we've having, isn't it?" Lang asked, "It's not too hot, not too cold, and the radiation levels are only kinda thin today." The Brainless stopped, and raised a brow at him. Lang pulled the gum to him, shooting him. "Good-bye big shot," he said, before cursing. "You got me doing it now! Making these stupid puns!"

Stella looked at Leila, giving her a curt nod.
"Stella." She replied simply, not one for talking.
As the group began to rouse, they immediately dove into the fight. Unsurprising, considering their background, but Stella thought they might have at least tried to coordinate a bit more.
Whatever.
Shrugging, she grabbed her rifle from where it had been laying on the ground, and slung it across her back, where it would be secure without getting in the way. Pulling out her pistols, she stoically checked the clips on both, before cocking them and staring at the horde of Brainless, and allowing a small smile to grace her features.
Without any warning, she took off at a full speed run, easily dodging the slow movements of the zombie-like creatures, while rapidly firing a constant string of bullets with impeccable aim, never wasting a single shot.
As one of her guns gave her an empty click, she glanced down in irritation, and switched from offensive to defensive. Ducking under a wild swing of an arm, she weaved towards Leila, who seemed to be the most talkative of the bunch.
"Give me cover." She said, dropping into a crouch beside the woman. "I'll watch your back." She explained quickly as she reloaded her guns, imagining a 'you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' scenario.
