Introduction and Question
Good day and year to all,
My name is Pandar, and while I have long had an interest and perhaps even a predilection towards RP, I have only just begun a character last night. My stat roles were abnormally high, and so the DM smacked me with a Nerf Hammer... literally and figuratively. I am an archer who was in the service of the king, but because of my high stats, the DM gave me epilepsy caused by stimulus, and as a result the king died. He also gave me, as back story, an amulet which subdues my epilepsy (though not erase it). This amulet was given to me by a dark wizard who exchanged it in exhange for a vial of my blood... now I am in a blood debt to the wizard and must do anything he asks me.
My question is this: is there a way to avoid this blood debt through some form of external magic? The two magic systems available to me are 'naming' and 'sympathy', though I am not proficient to use them. I may be able to have someone else assist me, but the DM will stop it if he thinks I may counteract the nerf. What I need to do is achieve a protection from this wizard without the DM knowing what is happening until too late. I was thinking about learning the 'name' of my own blood, and then I can simply extract it from the wizard's grasp without his knowledge. (Of course the wizard may know its 'name' by now as well.)
