Welcome to Konoha, the village hidden in the leaves. For years Konoha has maintained balance and peace, always avoiding confrontations and violence by seeking out a passive answer when met with confrontations from the outside villages. Though no matter what precaution Konoha took, it’d be an exaggeration to say Konoha and the other villages weren’t close to war. But each situation was eventually defused, even when tough sacrifices had to be made.
With this current era of peace, the life of a Shinobi went on. Seeing the benefits of maintaining peace, the villages cooperated and always helped each other out. Though the truth is most villages do this more for the personal benefits, and don’t truly trust each other. But alas, peace is peace. Every year, the Chuunin exams take place, and every year each village takes turns hosting it.
And every year the Chuunin exams went by swiftly, in matter of fact the next Chuunin exams should be arriving soon. Although peace has been maintained, as of recently there has been whispers, rumors of an organization. Their goals are unclear, and their mere existence has all villages paranoid. But this changes nothing as the Chuunin exams must go on.
Stuff You Should Know
Please note that this is AU, so please none of that descendant of Naruto + whoever. A other thing you should be aware of is that the Uchiha incident never happened, and most clans are still around more or less.
Rules:
Please be respectful and nice to your fellow Rpers, this is an RP, not a dick measuring contest so put it away
Your character starts off as a genin, with rookie status, no exceptions. Don’t go around busting mountains and other crazy things from the get go. If you wish to create a high level NPC (Non Playable Character) then please inform the GM's first and be prepared to pay the EvP.
Do not Cheese Whiz. This is an old term from Gaw’s Laws. Cheese Whizzing is making your character an immortal God who can blow anything away in one hit and have absolutely no limitations. That is Cheese Whizzing.
Know the difference between what you know and what you’re character knows. You are not your character no matter what kind of extension of yourself is imprinted in the character.
Always seek to improve your RPG playing abilities. This doesn't mean get yourself some cool new jutsu. This means improving the quality of your posts.
Don’t be afraid to come to a GM if you have a good idea or a concern.
Have fun. Forget who is the best writer. Forget who has the strongest character. We just want you guys to have fun. This is a RPG based on writing not mathematics.
Rock Lee Rule: You must maintain a half a point in all stats. The reason being well Rock Lee. He is a ninja that can't use genjutsu or ninjutsu however he still maintains half a point in both statistics.

Please note that I do have a system for improvements to your characters. I'll make this as simple as possible.
Stats:
This is how stat increases will work, first things first I will like to note that this system resembles the Naruto databook. I cant just give giant stat boosts because the cap for stats is 5. Anyway continuing where I left off I'll give a specific amount of boost for everyone judging from your preformance and participation to the RP after a certain period of time or arc.
Jutsu:
Jutsu will work in a different way, unlike stats Jutsu will be bought. But I'm not letting people off the hook so easy. First I'll delve into what you're going to use to buy Jutsu. I'll be introducing participation points to the RP. Every week, I'll be grading people reading their posts and tallying up their total points. The price for jutsu will be the following.
E Rank = 5 Points
D rank = 10 points
C rank = 20 points
B rank = 30 points
A rank = 40 points
S rank= 60 points
Once purchasing a jutsu, you will have to make a mandatory training post of you actually learning the Jutsu. Please note each rank has a different standard.
E rank = 1-2 small posts/or one medium post
D rank = 3-4 small posts/ or two medium posts/ or one large post
C rank = 5-6 small posts/ or three medium posts/ or one large post
B rank = 7-8 small posts/ or four medium posts/ or two large posts
A rank= 9-10 small posts/ or five medium posts/ or two large posts
S rank = 11-12 small posts/ or 6 medium posts/ or three large posts
Perks/Upgrades
First things first Perks/Upgrades are things such as special weapons, unlocking elements, upgrading Dojutsu, ETC. Perks/Upgrades are bought with participation points as well, but the price will be decided by me. Although this isn't mandatory please make a post of you attaining this upgrade... don't wake up one day with a new weapon or a two tomoe Sharingan.
How to obtain participation points
Simple... just participate. If you post you earn them. Though there are other ways to obtain them, such as
Missions
Any Naruto fan should be familiar with missions. You should know about all the ranks and everything. Anyway this is how missions will be handled, I'll allow you to make any mission of your choice[E-C rank, note that the higher the rank the greater the award.] Anyway here is the award for each rank.

Activity is really important in this RP, if you are known for being inactive I'm afraid you wont be able to join.
