Welcome to the Semideus Islands! This mysterious Archipelago was discovered some years ago by Team Semideus, a legendary team who's origins and end are shrouded in foggy mystery. The Exploration Federation was very excited by the reports of a new, unexplored area but kept it under wraps from the general Population. Team Semideus were sent in to discover more of the islands but were reported missing several months later. Exploration teams to Rescue Teams were sent in to find them and explore the area but they too disappeared without a trace. The occasional survivor would come back delirious and mentally unstable, raving about hidden treasures and feral tribes of Pokemon feeding on their friends. A safer approach to mapping out the islands were decided. Strong swimmers and high flyers were sent to map out the area from the sea and sky respectively. After several years of baited breathes and annoyed sighs, the mappers came back with a general idea of the area. The Federation Council, a highly respected power in the Pokemon World, spent a further six months planning sea routes, questioning mappers about the terrain and eventually came to a conclusion.
A small base camp, with help of the natives, would be set up on one of the smaller islands. The base camp, nicknamed 'Allure Town' by some of the friendlier natives, soon turned into a proper town. The name Allure Town stuck and eventually the whole island named Allure Island. Merchants, budding explorers, retired rescue teams and even criminals were inhabiting Allure Island by winter.
Although the crime rate was rather small, a Guild was set up to combat angry natives and train rookie explorers to send out to the Islands. Ran by Slowking, a once-retired explorer and Fraxure, a native to Allure Island and long term friend of the Federation. Slowly, recruits trickled in and most trickled out again from guild training or from the pressure of it all.
This is where you come in. Whether a native to Allure Island or a rookie explorer coming from the mainland to join up, you are all welcome. As you become stronger, the outer islands will be explored and mapped. Dungeons will be discovered, treasures will be found, friends and enemies will be made and criminals will be taken down.....

That circle/ellipse around that island indicates it is Allure Island. (Still Cavemonster's pic although I edited it). You see the dot? That shall be our starting point, the site of Allure Town (basically Treasure Town). The island is officially called Allure Island, as the native Dragon types call the newcomers. The island is mostly covered with forest in the south and a large mountain called Scale Mountain in the north-east. In the north west and the area north of the mountain, is a mostly flat plain. Of course, there are beaches all around but the south of the island is a sheer cliff. The climate is rather temperament, with warm summers and cool winters. Rain is common in Autumn and Spring, with Sun in Summer and Snow uncommon in the Winter.
Our main base of operations. For now, anyway.... More shops to be added later.
Allure Town is a nice little seaside town, tucked up against the sea. A dock goes along the eastern side, where boats with supplies from the mainland bring supplies. A wall, made partly of stone and wood, begins at the end of the docks. The top of the wall is covered with Poison Spikes, which prevent most unwanted Pokemon climbing it. The houses are simple, made of wood and straw. A market diamond, where all the merchants have their stalls, is the centre of the town. In fact, the main bulk of town is the Diamond. Although walls look imposing, the way in and out is an open archway. If you turn north outside the archway, you will see Scale Mountain in the distance, surrounded by Dragon Wood. If you turn south and follow the path for some minutes, you will find, atop a hill, Slowking Guild.
SpoilerAreas of interest:
The Slowking Guild
From the outside, the Guild looks like a large Slowking Crown sticking out of the ground on top of a hill. The doors are wooden and protected by a tough-looking Zangoose called Keeper. On the inside of this small building, there is a ladder heading straight down. It leads to the bottom floor. Keeper is paranoid, often not allowing anyone in the guild. He can be persuaded but it's advisable to just wait around for Fraxure or Slowking to let new Recruits in.
The guild south of Allure Town. It only has one floor. The bottom floor hosts the Mission/Outlaw boards, the Guildmaster's quarters, the dorms where recruits sleep and a large table pushed against the wall which serves as the mess hall. As the Guild is mainly very empty, there is a lot of space. The Guildmaster, Slowking, runs the guild. His assistant, Fraxure, helps get Rookies going. Fraxure has a lot of knowledge of Allure Island, being a ntive himself. Fraxure is rather relaxed and will help new recruits in anyway he can. However, he has a fiery temper, so don't push his temper. Slowking acts as a grandfather to all the guild, giving out advice, raising morale and generally making people feel safe. Slowking can be rather sharp sometimes and looks a little scary but he his kind personality makes up for it.
Memphis's Gold Bank
Memphis, a Cofagrigus, will store your gold in his own body. He says it enters a multi-dimensional banking room but of course, he could be lying. Here, you can store your hard earned gold and be sure to never lose it. Memphis is a rather quiet fellow and he rarely talks, par from doing business. He seems to even sleep behind the stall...Everyone begins with 1000 Poke

Rockhopper's Storage
Rockhopper, more commonly known as just Hopper, is a Delibird. He apparently stores everything in sacks in his house. Rock is highly protective of his sacks and will go to any lengths to protect them. Although a nice guy generally, he can come across as a bit arrogant around customers. Here, you can store your hard-earned items without fear of theft. It is said he stores the most value items in a Clampearl in his house...
Everyone starts with a small sack with 6 slots
Shroomworth's Goods Stall
The Shroomworth's, a husband and wife Breloom, buy and sell items. Although more commonly known as 'Shrooms' by locals, don't say it near them, as they hate the name. Something about sounding like drug dealers..... Mr. Shroomsworth sells general goods, such as apples, Oran Berries and Reviver seeds, all ranging from prices of 50 Pokedollars to 2000 Pokedollars. Mrs. Shroomsworth sells rarer items at more expensive prices, such as TM's, Orbs and rare treasures. The Shroomsworth's seem like a nice people to outsiders but when the customers are gone, they can be seen arguing and swearing at each other over the smallest thing.

Spoiler
NPC's around town...
-Swampert
An old fisherman and ferryman. He is apparently good friends with Guildmaster Slowking and can usually be found sitting around the docks, singing a tune while untying fish nets.
-Scamp
A Scraggy explorer who hangs around town. Although he calls himself an explorer, he doesn't act like one. Known for his shady deals with thieves and raggamuffins, he can act as a go between for the darker side of exploring and local guild rookies. He is pretty annoying, asking for fights with newcomers and using empty threats to get his own way.
-Abomasnow
Another shady character. He can be found sitting around on benches in Allure Town, glassy eyed and muching on X-Eye seeds. He is but a pawn in the illegal X-Eye seed trade. If you need information from this guy, don't bother. He is on another world.
-Blissey
The local nurse, who can heal battered Pokemon back to health. She will do so for free. Blissey is known for going to the mainland from time to time. She is also a close ally to the Guild.
Team Sandswirl
A local rescue team consisting of Sandile and Sandslash. They are friendly and honest and are currently the only Rescue Team permanently based in Allure Town, save for the Guild. They can usually be found in the Diamond, chatting with locals or in the Guild, taking jobs. They are probably the only non-Guild Rescue Team to check the Outlaw and Mission Boards.
-You can have as many characters as you can handle.
-General RP rules apply. (No Godmod, Powerplay, etc.)
-No legendaries, Fakemon or anything more than Base evolved Pokemon. Apart from that, you can be any of the 600+ Pokemon you want.
-Take out the whole (Blah, Blah) part in the questions of your app.
-I want some unique Pokemon and Biographies. I don't want 15 Eevees who want to avenge their parents deaths. Not to say, one or two Pokemon wanting to avenge their parents deaths is okay but try to at least write something unique.
Location: North of Allure Town, just up the path.
https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...0-RRP0nCcBU2hw
A large Deciduous forest, covering most of Allure Island. The trees are very high and the sunlight struggles to peek through the lofty branches. In the summer, the trees are covered in green leaves and can make the place rather dark. In Autumn, most of the leaves fall and leave their yellow and red colours across the ground. In Winter, snow often covers the empty branches and freeze what is left of the muddy leaves. In Spring, the trees begin their life cycle again and the branches can be seen covered in small buds. As the name suggests, it is slowly being inhabited by weak Dragon Types that make their way down from Scale Mountain, which this forest borders. However, Grass and Bug Types also make there home here, enjoying the fertile soil and tall trees. Most of the Pokemon are rather low-levelled but don't understimate them, they can be an annoyance in large numbers...

Pokemon Species: Magby
Nickname: Ludwik
Image/Description: Wears a silver amulet around his neck, has an orange bandanna wrapped around his right arm.
Biography A young pokemon in search of riches rumored to be hidden in the Semideus Islands, reigning from a volcano known as Mt. Blaze. Ludwik left his volcanic home after hearing
about the Islands and the Slowking Guild through travelling pokemon, believing them to be filled with treasures beyond his wildest dreams, that could possibly make him rich and able to use the money to build a proper home for his family in Mt. Blaze. He swore only to return after he had attained great wealth, no matter how long it takes. Currently sailing towards the small town of Allure.
Personality: Ludwik is kind-hearted and always willing to help out a pokemon in a pinch, standing against any pokemon that would harm others for they're own wealth. With hardly any knowledge of the world, Ludwik will not normally react to sightings of famous or rare pokemon, and is easily amused.

Pokemon Species: Buizel
Gender: Male
Nickname: Echo
Image/Description: He wears a neckerchief. A little like this
Biography: Echo was born into poverty of a large city on the mainland. His Floatzel mother abandoned him when he was young and this made Echo very bitter growing up. He lived on the streets, eating what he could find and even stealing where he could. He would pick fights with Machokes, getting absolutely destroyed. He is very prideful of his poor upbringing, saying it 'toughened him up'. Although acting a big tough Pokemon most of the time, he would cry himself to sleep each night. Echo always had a fascination with exploration. He would often spend time admiring explorers in the square, always telling himself 'I'll be like so and so one day'. Eventually, his crimes got him into trouble with the law. The Federation decided instead of shipping him off to prison, they would send him to the Semideus Islands to join Slowking's Guild so he could become a respected member of society. Although he acted devastated, he was actually very happy that he could finally become an explorer and show the world just who Echo was.
Personality: Echo is a mean spirited guy. As well as being arrogant and a bit of a dick, he thinks he can take on any Pokemon hand to hand. He is secretly very lonely, having no friends and being pretty unsociable. He can be very greedy too. He refuses to talk to Pokemon he believes 'weaker' than him. He will gladly take on any Pokemon that picks a fight with him. His pride is very important to him, probably being the only thing he has left.

Pokemon Species:Cyndaquil
Nickname:Hot-back
Image/Description:He has gloves for some reason.
Biography:Already joined the guild. He came from a famous family, his dad was a famous pokemon from the guild, as he found a cave that leaded to new pokemon. But at that time, he wanted nothing to do with it. Not that he had the skills or personality to qualify anyway. He was scared shitless just of thinking about it. He was timid and shy, and was bullied a lot. Until he decided to join the guild after a pokemon from the guild saved when he was almost beaten until he was dead. The people were suprised, and bullied him more, until he just lost it, all the anger from his whole life opened up, and burned brightly. Scaring them, this gave him his nick-name.
Personality: He is very calm and pretty calculating, but he still talks as much as any hum-.. Pokemon. He calculates and sums up all the events that happened, while talking to his fellow pokemon. He tends to keep everything to himself till he finally got the conclusion. He likes to make jokes, even though they are not always funny. If people try to bully him, he just ignores them, and goes to do other stuff.
Moves

Abilitys:
Fire back: This earned his nick name, just like all the cyndaquils, his back can catch fire, tohugh the tricky thing is, Cyndaquil doesn't get mad fast. But if he does, it burns brighter then three cyndaquils put together, just because he keeps all his anger to himself, even from past experiences.
Pokemon Species: Cubone
Nickname: Rock
Gender: Male
Image/Description: Just a typical, run-of-the-mill Cubone save for maybe a few more dents, and a worn-down look to his skull-mask.
Biography: Rock started in a family with two brothers, himself being the youngest. Out of good sport and competition they would headbutt small rocks to see who was stronger. Thus earning his nickname rock, being the one who suggested it in the first place. This carried into his later years as he grew older and eventually left, about the time his mother died. Since then he moved place to place searching for something to occupy his time, eventually ending up as a recruit to join the new guild.
Personality: Rock is always looking for the next small thing to occupy his time. But since the death of his mother, he tends to stay away from social activities. He can shut himself away for hours with just a small pebble, if he becomes too bored. And if he happens to be in the presence of others when he feels like he is about to do something good, he tends to hesitate and see if anyone is watching. If so, he will emit a big smile as he does, or tries to do, the special task.

Biography: Volta was born just west of Allure Town, and her father was a member of a guild. She wants to live up to her father's name, and will try as hard as she can to do so.
Personality: Volta is a strongwilled, although regularly sassy and sarcastic girl. She does care about those who she knows well, and is very selfless. She likes to be pampered, although it isn't her first priority. She has high hopes for her standing as a hero's daughter to hero herself.

Pokemon Species: Rufflet
Nickname: Talon
Gender: Male
Image/Description: He has a small band on his leg and a pack with an adjustable strap.
Biography: Talon grew up in a place call Feather Town, whose populace, as you may have guessed, is mostly of the flying type. He grew up looking to his dad as a hero, and on several instances seen him perform such acts. His father is the leader of a sort of law enforcement team, only doing their work in the Feather Town area. Talon hopes to lead his own exploration team to hunt down outlaws and defeat those who would clearly do harm to another without a second thought. That would include helping others.
Personality: Talon can be considered courageous, if it weren't for the fact that it came from his recklessness, a trait all Rufflets share. He thinks of himself as a sort of leader, due to having two younger siblings that always looked up to him and his father's leading sort of police force in their hometown. He's a bit of a thinker as well, trying to come up with ways of beating his father and friends in mock fights.
Level (1-8): 6
Moves:
- Peck

Ability: Keen Eye (Very good sight. Warning: Don't try to blind him, you'll be wasting your time.)
Pokemon Species: Sableye.
Nickname: Jasper.
Gender: Female (Jasper is a unisex name, though, so it might be a bit confusing).
Description: Jasper is a Sableye with a subtly more feminine build than most of her species, being fairly slender and not quite as angular as other Sableye in form. She wears a simple blue mask and hood, more for the purpose of looking awesome than for disguising her face. The mask also reduces the effect that Sableye's eyes give off, a hypnotic, vaguely disconcerting feeling that has been called 'soul-stealing'. Unlike most Sableye, all of the semi-precious stones on Jasper's body (including her eyes) are sparkling red jaspers, hence her nickname.
Biography: Jasper was born in a deep cave, like most Sableye in the Archipelago. Unlike the rest of her family tribe, however, she was one of the few Sableye born with the hindering ability Stall instead of the much more useful Keen Eye. Though Sableye have a bad reputation as poltergeists and pranksters, Jasper's family saw her as a disadvantaged member, and kept her from the more dangerous caves, trying to make life easier for her as she couldn't see as well as the others in the dusty, smokey darkness (although her night vision was still quite apt). The young Sableye was rebellious, however, sneaking out of the nest tunnels into the outer caves, and she soon developed a taste for adventure. Foolishly, she decided to leave the caverns for the above world when she grew a little older, leaving her family in distress. Jasper took with her a small bag of precious stones when she left to remind her of home, but, having little knowledge of the dangers of the world above, she made the unwise action of attempting to travel over the lonely roads at night. Though the crime rate of the Archipelago was low, an opportunistic newcomer from the mainland easily managed to steal the stones, but was quickly in turn arrested by a Ninjask explorer. The Ninjask had been sent to the Archipelago in the early days of Allure Town, and kindly decided to teach her a little about his profession before he left for the Mainland again. The Ninjask realised that she was at a disadvantage due to her ability, and helped her unlock her Hidden ability- Prankster, a trait that, opposite to Stall, allowed her to move faster than an opponent. He was the first to nickname her Jasper. Overcome with admiration at the Bug-type, Jasper made her way with him to Allure Town, where the two parted. Jasper rashly decided to sell her stones to buy TMs, leaving her penniless and somewhat lost in the overworld, but eager to join the Slowking Guild the Ninjask had described for her and to become an adventurer.
Personality: As her history has shown time and time again, Jasper is a rogue and rebellious soul. Jasper has little heed for rules, doing just about whatever she wants, and can be mischievous and sneaky, although in a laughing and fun-loving way. Jasper is a bit of a flirt, and she often gives her friends a roguish wink in greeting. She shows off on occasion, always glad to display her self-awarded title of 'Ninja in Training'. It is possible, and not completely untrue, to see her as a little selfish or mean, gladly laughing at others when they mess up but rather vulnerable when she herself does something wrong. When agitated, Jasper can often be snappish or surly. Although, like just about any Pokemon, she has her more emotional and empathic side, it very rarely has a chance to surface.
Level: 7.
Moves:
-Will-O-Wisp (TM move)
-Scratch
-Leer
-Payback (TM move which she considers her signature.)
Ability: Originally Stall, Jasper can now willingly switch between Stall and Prankster, her hidden ability.
Pokemon Species: Houndour
Nickname: Roya
Image/Description: Nothing unusual.
Biography: Born and raised in a pack of Houndours on Allure Island, Roya had a good time growing up. The pack was extremely caring, given Houndour's natural loyalty, and taught him all the basic skills needed for survival. A few months after his birth, a storm occurred, and given how bad these are on Allure, it caused Roya to become separated from his pack. He ended up fainting from the cold and fatigue and later woke up in Allure Town, having been rescued by one of the kind natives. After some asking around, he found out about the guild and decided he wants to join and become stronger, before heading out to Allure Island to find his pack.
Personality: Although at first moment he is quick to snap and seems to have quite the temper, Roya isn't all mean and tough. It doesn't take much for him to warm up to someone, though that doesn't mean his trust is gained. He likes to joke and have fun, and he isn't at all rational, never thinking his actions through, making him reckless and perhaps naive. He realizes he isn't the strongest, but refuses to admit this to others and will take on challengers, for he hates anyone doubting him or his skills. Once one gains his trust, he'll be a loyal friend and never abandon his companions in need.

-This your story, guys. Whether you're new or a veteran, it's your story. I won't change that and neither will any mods. You can team up with a person in OC and start your story in IC, whether it's catching criminals or finding out about some big conspiracy. However, events such as discovering a new Island or fighting a Legendary will be announced by me. You can discover new dungeons, just give me some details in OC first.
-Don't be put off by the 40+ page OC and 5+ page IC. You have missed nothing of importance. Most of the first few pages of IC was Raddum and I stalling and the OC is mostly us discussing our own storyline's or talking crap. As said above, this is your story. If you want to know what's happened so far, just ask in OC. No need to read what's happened yet, if you want to you van but most people aren't bothered reading 10+ pages of story, me among them. Any questions, there is myself and Raddum, a moderator.
