A Dream of Earth (REVIVAL) - Post-Post-Apocalyptic/Sci-fi
In earth's near future there occurred a cataclysmic event that destroyed the earth's ability to support life on the surface. The cause was lost to history, but all the stories tell of the poisonous clouds that clogged the skies and brought on the new ice age. The disaster was not a complete surprise. The countries of earth had time to build Ten self-sustaining bio-ships which were launched into the stratosphere, in a last bid to save the human race. The idea was to survive long enough in the skies above the clouds to let the skies clear and then repopulate the earth. 500 years later, the skies remain obscured, and the human race knows no other life than the sky-cities.
You are a citizen of earth. You have never seen the surface of your planet. There is so much you don't know.
