[From High-Casual] Humanities Darkness (A mature, psychopathic roleplay)
I've wanted to do this before but the one I had going kinda died.
This idea comes from watching crime shows a tad bit to much. It revolves around the idea of a mental condition captives develop overtime from being with their captors for long periods of time, Stockholm syndrome. I was wanting a scenario in which a man kidnaps a child in his younger years for some weird reason. Maybe it's to abuse him for years, or maybe he believes the kid is his son, maybe he believe he has to protect the kid from some made up evil. The kid, in some way, is bound to the captor. Maybe something such as shackles, or he's locked in some room, I'unno, I'm not going to play the captor, you are.
The conflict comes from two things. The first, the captive boy is entering, or far along in, his teenage years(13-16, maybe 18, depends on your preference) and the captor is growing in distance, leading the captive to believe its because he has changed, the second, being that the authorities, or some vigilante, is coming closer to the bottom of the "case." Consequently, they have to move.
I kinda wanna make it were we are serioussly tempted to strangle our characters, yet we love them for some odd reasons. I want the roleplay to be a perfect combination of severe mental problems, and the strange innocence that comes with it.
