Action, Adventure, Long-term Plot M/M+
Hi hi!
I have no specific plots in mind, I just know that I need to fill some sort of roleplay void that I'm having right now.
GENRE: Action, adventure, supernatural/fantasy, romance - ALL IN ONE
SETTING: I'm not too fond of the modern-day setting. I like Victorian Era settings the best, whether they are true to our historical Victorian Era or if this takes place in another universe that is very similar to this era. Other settings can be discussed if you have other ideas!
PLOT: As I mentioned, I don't have a specific plot in mind - but that doesn't mean we couldn't come up with something. I just know that I'd like this to involve action/adventure and romance on a very complicated level, between men. Maybe they have been friends for years pre-roleplay, maybe they just meet when we start playing. No idea! But I want it to be complicated, difficult, frustrating for our characters. Things that easy usually aren't fun.
OTHER CHARACTERS? In all of my roleplays I usually end up playing... 10+ people. It gets pretty large. I don't expect you to play that many people, but I think the more characters we have, the more dynamic it is. Of course, we don't play all of them at once (in the same post) but I can double up just fine. I can do up to four scenes in the same post without losing quality.
CHARACTER TYPES: I usually play very dependent, strong characters, but I have experience with just about every kind. Shy, annoying, frustrating, weak, well-mannered, quiet. Especially when I play more than one character in a game, I do my best to make my cast as diverse as possible.
LENGTH: My posts are shorter (1-2 paragraphs) but I don't sacrifice quality. It's a lot more interactive if you are posting shorter, quicker posts back and forth. If I'm playing more than one character in a post, though, sometimes I can get insane-long with my posts. I don't expect you to match it (especially if you're only posting for one character at the moment). The general rule for me is post as much as you need to say to get your point across. I don't even mind the occasional one-liner. Sometimes there just isn't that much to say, especially in a high-interactive environment.
LIMITS: I have none. Seriously. I've had people purposely try to gross me out and I can pretty much promise you that it can't be done. I say this just so you don't worry about whether or not you're going to upset me with something that your character does. If your character decides to go on a ravenous killing rampage, it won't really bother me. Maybe my character joins in.
MATURE: I do mature just fine. I'd prefer for it not to encompass the whole game but I don't mind tension here and there with mature scenes sprinkled about. That includes sexual, drugs/alcohol, gore and violence, etc.
WHERE? I'd -prefer- for it to be an IM game since it's the most fast/interactive (I think). I have MSN and Skype, the latter of which is a great RPing venue. I can do e-mail, though, and if none of these things suit you but you'd REEEEALLY REALLY like to play this anyways, I'm willing to talk about other options.
