Crimson Fate OOC
Crimson Fate
Welcome to Crimson Fate OOC, a thread for any questions, issues, or out of character conversation related to the original world of Atleah and any action taking place in any IC Crimson Fate thread. Please feel free to ask anything about this world so you feel comfortable introducing your character to it. The wiki linked below should answer some questions, but since it is in development from a greater source of texts offline it will not tell you everything.

The races of Atleah include but are not limited to: Humans (from Grand Fal and Bath), High Elves (from Kai and the Greenwood, and the river city of Alvondiel), Wood Elves (from the Greenwood and Bath), Half-Elves, Dark Elves (from the slaver nation of Holm) Dwarves (from the stretches of the Serpentine in Bath), Halflings (from the hills of Bath's north), Orcs (from the clan-war nation of Malan), Ogres (an enslaved race living across the world in service as labor and guards to others), Zionics (a special, albino-like race that has emerged at the Tower of the Seer in western Bath), Merfolk, and more. There is also a vampiric presence in Atleah for those interested in pursuing a more gothic and darker role.

Please feel free to jump into the "Crimson Fate: The Open Hand" IC thread to introduce your character via the ever-convenient RP setting of a tavern. Quests and adventures can begin from there, but as game master I will accommodate any travel outside of the tavern to any part of the world through a description of setting, control of non-player characters, and more. I live to provide a world for you to explore, so do not hesitate to take the RP elsewhere.
Please note that combat can take place in free form and can be played out that way without a single rolling of dice, but as GM I will be rolling dice if the outcome of an action is not obviously determined by factors like differences in position, size, and power. Where an obvious advantage exists, a D20 will be rolled on my end with anywhere from a +1 to a +9 being applied based on how realistic that advantage seems. Any roll can be questioned and re-rolled at least once if there's any question of fairness, and full transparency is provided for what was rolled and how it was rolled on demand.
