A Slice of Life / A Development and Character Study / A Charming Story to Write
I've been subjecting myself to several slice of life Japanese anime shows and films lately and in doing so, I've sparked my interest in doing something highly centered around characters and various themes. (reality, time, love, death, life, sin, faith, etc) I can do something modern or something sprinkled with fantasy or sci-fi, but nothing supernatural please. I'd like to also explore symbolism and the depth of human emotion, be it anything at all. I want someone who is capable of nice detailed rich posts which touch upon all sights, sounds, tastes, etc. Don't you enjoy getting long wonderfully written posts which can immerse you?
As a note, I have 1 RP for this and I'm only willing to take on at most 3 more...
Some ideas I've had are:
To integrate the art of writing letters (be it handwritten or email) for a portion of the roleplay. As well as other gifts.
To deal with childhood friends developing over the span on many decades.
To dive into the push and pull of life and the realism it can bring, the boring times and the unpredictable.
To deal with time travel.
To have secrets and drama and love triangles.
To have a school or work place setting involved.
To deal with Japanese or British culture.
To deal with natural disasters.
To experiment with unrequited love.
Of course there isn't much to go on but I find it easier for me and my partner to talk things out rather than one person just act as "GM" and become a dictator who does all the thinking. I'm seeking an advanced writer who is capable of posting several (4 at minimum, no max) paragraphs within a quick time frame. (1 post every day or every other day please) I would like there to be a chance for mature themes, or at least the discussion about them. I'm looking for this to show characters in real life with small anime aspects that show uniqueness. I want a simple warm bittersweet story to attend to. If you're someone who is interested in development, stories taking place in a school/workplace/neighborhood, please PM me or post here. Character Sheets will be necessary but they will be short and to the point. Also, I don't RP over PMs because I can't focus on them and tend to inadvertently neglect them. Ideas welcome, we can surely discuss inspiration and goals, the more creative and passionate you are, the better! I play either gender and would greatly prefer someone who can double as it can add to several story lines.
