Videogames are certainly art.
But Videogames as literature? Definitely not.

I can imagine they were trying to defend the artistic integrity of video games, but poorly articulated it as saying "literature," because apparently all books have artistic value and are valuable to society.
Too lazy to read much of the thread, but one thing I will say is oral songs count as literature. Like, the ones passed down from generation to generation. Jussaying. So where do you draw the line between that and normal songs?
