Make Me Wanna Stay [Ikari&&Blazed]
She had found him, she had really done it. Finally Naurto was going to give her the attention she should be getting. Even though he knew her feelings, it was as if nothing had ever been said. She had pushed through the pain of Neji’s death and kept Naruto alive during the fourth great ninja war. Although the war was over, getting back into the routine of things was slowly happening. Hinata had been able to get enough information on Sasuke, well Naruto was away on another mission. Fifth Hokage had approved of her request before sending her team out. They no longer needed a back up team, for Sasuke was no longer a huge danger to the Hidden Leaf.
However, things had not gone as well as she had planned. There was a reason why Sasuke hadn’t come back to the village after making a somewhat peace with the village. Her team had tracked him down between the boarders of the Land of Fire and the Land of Rivers. It started with a peaceful confrontation, but quickly ended up in a battle to drag Sasuke back. Hinata wouldn’t back down because she knew this was her last chance to bring him back before Naurto went looking for him again. Sasuke was out of their league, that didn’t stop Hinata from trying to stop him.
In the end the team lay on the group barely alive, she had no idea why Sasuke didn’t just finish them. She lay there on the ground, the forest around them fluttering with sounds of life. “Byakugan” she whispered softly once again reactivating her kekkei genkai. She may have almost been out of chakra, but she was not about to give up. Naurto had taught her that. If he never gave up, neither could see. Shifting her hands along the ground, letting off a sound of movement she attempt to push her body up. Her arms struggled, shacking under her weight as she shifted a knee under her body to keep her somewhat upright. Slowly she brought up her head too peek through the current of black hair with her violet eyes. “W-wait.” She hushed out with her soft but stern voice. That’s when it hit her. Best way to bring him back, was to gain his trust, friendship, to be on his side. Hit at just the right time.
Her closed her eyes letting the veins from her face slip back into her smooth pale complexion. Sighing softly she pushed the rest of her body to stand up right. It was yet another struggle but once on her feet she looked at Sasuke. “I. .. .” She wasn’t sure how to go about this. “Let me go with you.” She said before glancing down at her team who all where hopefully out cold not to hear this. “I-I-I can’t take the village anymore. I. . .” She paused again glancing up at Sasuke with strong eyes. “I need an out.” She finished in a whisper.
With Sasuke being the eyes of all the girls, it was most likely he never took notice of her, like the majority of people in their class. It was really only in the Chunin exams that she confirmed for the first time that Naruto knew who she was. It had made her so happy. Her hands slowly reached up to untie her headband. She hesitated for a moment before undoing the knot. Naruto was in her thoughts and his pride for his headband. She hoped one day he would forgive her. . . if he noticed she was gone. Gripping the fabric of her headband as it fell from her neck she held it out. “Please.” She said holding out the headband for Sasuke to take or throw away.
