Heroes A Brighter Future (IC)

"Volume One: Genesis", begins with a seemingly ordinary group of people who gradually become aware that they have special abilities. The story develops showing their reactions to these powers, and how this discovery affects their personal and professional lives. At the same time, several ordinary individuals are investigating the origins and extent of these abilities. Mohinder Suresh, a research geneticist, continues his late father's research into the biological source of the powers, while Noah Bennet represents, and is a lead agent for, a secret organization known only as "the Company" that wants to control and, if necessary, terminate those who are gifted. After only having a short time to come to terms with their new abilities, each of the heroes is drawn into the final showdown. They must each do their part to stop the destruction of the world that starts with an impending explosion at Kirby Plaza in New York City.-

Doctor Suresh stood over his fathers desk, a tear ran down his cheek at the though of his death, Mohinder quickly wiped it away, he had only been in america a few months, how could he have been killed in such a short time, Mohinder pushed that thought away, after all moaning wasnt going to help him contact people on the list, but mohinder knew he was in the right place, while he was there he could try to crack his fathers code, and maybe since his fathers book was published in america, these people with abilities might come and find him.

Noah stepped into his office an "i hate mondays" look strewn across his face, he turned on his computer and instantly heard a loud ding, he had a message from the big boss, so he turned and began walking towards hid office, once he got there, he opened the door and stepped inside, "you wanted to see me sir?" the man swiveled around in his chair, "yes noah, im happy to tell you a few of the candidates for new agents are done with training, you can go pick a new partner..." noah couldnt help but smile, a new partner meant he would be back in the field, he shook his bosses hand and left. Noah then made his way to the training facility and opened the door to find 12 new agents standing there, "well who wants a partner?"

Sylar stood over the freshly killed man, it had been worth it, his power was... extraordinary, sylar pointed his finger and a high pitched sound came from it it finnaly got so high it broke the glass in the dead mans house, "well well well, isnt that nice." sylar smiled, and stepped out of the building leaving the body and moving along, as he was walking two men in black suits came from an alley way, fbi for sure, sylar was wanted for many killings, so sylar smiled and threw one against the wall and held him ther then his melted the other ones brain with his new power, after he was sure the agent was dead, he turned to the one still pinned to the wall, "W-why are you doing this?" Sylar smirked, "Because i can..." and with a flick of his finger them mans neck was snapped, sylar turned to face new york, "dont worry heroes, im coming to help with the powers..."

Melissa was standing in the line of 12 agents. She looked around at them curiously as she waited for the door to open, when it did, she stood up straight and switched her attention to the man in front of her. "I do, sir!" she said quickly, not wanting to be the last to get a partner. Plus, she had been with the company for ages, she just needed to do the re-entrance training. Before in the company she was an informant, she could walk through mirrors and steal others senses to gain information and quickly travel to the other side of the world to give the information to the company. It was simple work and she got rewarded well for it.

Noah looked instantly to the girl who had answered first, "your agent Matthews, your file says you a mirror jumper," he smiled at her, "what makes you wanna join me? you know we would be bringing in people like you, put simply why do you want to help me?" Noah loved her enthusiasm but he didnt want someone who was out for revenge, he wanted someone who wanted to help these people.

Melissa smiled and anxiously scratched the side of her head, "Well... I'm also a sense hijacker but..." she continued to scratch her head as she thought, "It's not about revenge, sir. But more of a wanting to be safe. I and any others who believes in the companies way." No. I don't like it, I just want to save my own hide her inner voice trickled into her brain and her smile faltered slightly. It was only for a split second before her beam was back on her face.

Noah made a slight bow, "well i think I've found my new partner..." noah smiled brightly at her, he noticed the falter in her eyes but he ignored it, no matter what her reason was, she was the most useful candidate they had so far, "I'm Noah and I'm your new partner." he shook her hand with a smile, "well i hope your ready i believe we may have a mission..."

"Awesome! I'm Melissa, just going to repeat that again." Melissa laughed, "I'm always ready for a mission. Though most of my original ones were just stealing information." She smiled once more and took a step out of the agent line, she looked at the others and tried not to laugh as some of them were giving her deadly glares or they were just indifferent.

Connor sat a dinner outside of New York eating his breakfast as he played games on his phone. He had left home a couple months ago but his parents still picked up the phone bill for him because they wanted to have some way to contact him. He had been looking for jobs in the city alot recently but no one seemed to be hiring these days. He exited his game and swapped to a job searching site. "Back to the grindstone" he mumbled

After a nice short car ride, Young Charlie Macdonald hopped out of her car, and walked into her office building. There, she swiped her card at the beginning of te doors and walked into the elevator.

Dante stood at the back of the room, his arms crossed. "I work alone" he grunted, and turned to leave. Looking around the "Training" facility, he wondered why the company even tried to train him. He'd broken out easily enough, a fact that he was uneasy about, and he'd gained a pretty good amount of control over his ability, and other than that he already knew all of the bullshit they'd try to throw at them. He was tired of having to remind them that he was there for the money, nothing else, and the minute they tried to make a move on controlling him, he'd bust.

Damien turned over in his bed and groaned as his alarm clock sounded off. Almost growling, he slammed the snooze button on the clock. "Fuck off." He rolled his eyes and laid back in bed, mumbling profanities as he looked at the time. He started to regret taking early morning classes. He had no idea what he was thinking, seeing his night job sometimes got out late and he wouldn't have that much time to sleep. Groaning more, he managed to pull himself out of bed and walked sluggishly into his bathroom only wearing underwear. He yawned and looked in the mirror, his black hair a mess. After doing his morning routine in the bathroom, Damien proceeded to get ready for his courses. He slid on a white V-Neck shirt, some skinny jeans that went to his knees, and some high top converse. You could definitely see his tattoos through his shirt but he didn't care. It was college. After putting in his ear gauges, he grabbed his keys and left his apartment. Good thing his place was on campus so he wouldn't have to go too far.

When Damien arrived on campus, he went straight to the cafeteria to snag him some breakfast. He grabbed himself some breakfast tacos and an orange juice and sat at a random table. He sat his backpack aside and started eating, trying to wake his body up. His college was a popular one so it was always packed. He needed to hurry up and eat so he could get to his first class, Physics.
