The Offspring [IC]
[OOC: Remember, have your character waking up and seeing their God Parent's object nearby. From then on, this should give your character something to do like finding out where it came from, or just doing your daily activities like my character attending college. Enjoy!]
Elijah stirred around in his sleep, using his arm as a pillow. Finally the sunlight beamed through the curtains of his windows and hit him in the face. His alarm clock suddenly went off at 8 in the morning sharp. Elijah groaned into the pillow in protest, not wanting to get up and go to school. Finally after fighting his urges, he slipped the covers off of his body and sat up, wiping his eyes groggily. He yawned, looking around his room as he squinted his eyes. "God I really feel like skipping today," he said to himself. His dad was away on a business trip so he was going to have the house to himself for several weeks. It wasn't like he was gonna have someone to lecture him the importance of not skipping any college classes because it could bite you in the ass.
Elijah got out of bed and stood up, stretching his body. All he slept in were boxers. His tattoos and ear gauges were visible. At one point, he thought of himself as a "pure" boy. But after he graduated from high school, he did a complete 180 and punked himself out. He actually liked his appearance and never got any complaints. He got hit on from females and males alike. He yawned and walked towards the bathroom when something caught his eye on his dresser. He thought his mind was just playing tricks on him since he had just woken up. Eli did a double take and saw a huge leather bound book laying on the dresser. Approaching with caution, he moved up to the dresser to take a better look at it. It was black leather and it had a huge tree on it. Within in the center of the tree, it had a triple moon with a Pentagram in the center moon. "What the hell is this? This wasn't here last night..." Eli opened the book but the pages were all blank. He looked around to see if anything in his room was taken. Obviously someone must have broken into his house when he was sleeping. But who would leave a blank book? It looked like an empty Book Of Shadows, something he learned about in Occult class. "This is just too fuckin' weird. I'm too tired for this." With that, he went to the bathroom and to run his shower. He was gonna get to the bottom of this. Maybe his Occult professor would know something about that book.
As he slid into the shower, he let the hot water run down his nude body. He continued to ponder on how the book got into his room. A million thoughts raced throughout his mind.
"Waking up is the worst part of each day, but that does not give you an excuse for being lazy" Aron's mom said as she pulled the blinds away from his windows. He made a grunt before he finally managed to get out of bed and into the shower. While h was showering he sang a bit which was totally normal for him, but today it just did not come natural to him. It felt forced and manipulated, so quickly got done in the shower and ran to get his breakfast. Then his mom started her lectures again "Dont be rude, dont be late-" Aron knew this whole list of things his mom was going to say, so he tuned out and just nodded when she looked at him. His eyes moved over to a raven sitting right outside the window looking in. Aron tried to scare it with a hasty wave of his hand, but the raven did not seem to care the least. "- and finally don't do drugs" well his mom was finally done with listing all the things thou shall not do and Aron was also done with his food.
He bolted out the door and right outside it stood the same raven looking up at him. "what is wrong with you?" Aron said more interested then freaked out. "Why don't you just fly away and leave me alone?" he said reaching down to the bird. The raven made a leap up into the air and landed softly on Aron's left shoulder. "you must be brain damaged" Aron looked over at the raven which just tilted it head slightly to the side. He pushed the bird of his shoulder in a slow manner to not freak the bird out, but for each Aron pushed it down the raven just took a closer and closer grip with its talons. "Cool bird" a random passerby said with a laugh. That was it that bird was going of Aron's shoulder alive or not. Aron walked towards the buss to school and right before he went inside pushed the raven as hard as he could and ran inside the bus.
The raven did not give up that easily. The very moment Aron was out of his bus the raven was back on his left shoulder "Are you kidding me!"
(Something beforehand. I'm not too good with paragraphs and all, but I can at least make more that just a single line if that's okay with all of ya'll)
Alexander splashed out of the water as he took his hands and slid it from his face to the top of his head in order to get the water out of his eyes. "Alright, tanks cleaned..." He began to swim to the edge of the pool and climbed out, sitting at the side while his feet hung in the water. The towel he was using to dry off flailed around violently as he worked to dry his hair out from the water that soaked him greatly after being underwater for about 5 minutes. "Just another day at the Aquarium...gotta get ready for the show." He stood up, slipped on some sandals, and walked into the locker room to quickly change into his working outfit.
Shaun was sprawled out on his bed, an PS3 console controller on his chest and an Xbox360 controller on the ground by his hand. He didn't quite know when he had fallen asleep last night; 12:00AM, 6:30AM, it was all the same in the long run. The placement of his face in proportion to the window caused the sunlight to beam directly into his eyelids. He stirred, shuffling his blanket off the bed and allowing the controller to slip off his chest and make a dull thud as it hit the carpet. Shaun's eyes shot open, but it wasn't from the light or the alarm that went off. No, it was from that dull thud of the controller contacting the ground.
Shaun dived down and picked up the controllers before dusting them off and carefully placing them next to their respective consoles. It was after that, he noticed he was really, really tired. Shambling into the kitchen area of his housing unit, Shaun began preparing coffee for himself. As he prepared, he took a few caffeine tablets to kick start his morning. After getting the boost he needed, he returned to his room as the coffee prepared. He went to fix up his bedroom, and as he fixed up the bed he noticed something was off. On his bedside table was this... thing. It was like one of those tesla coils, except instead of being contained in a sphere, it was contained in a thin cylinder that he could hold in two hands. He guessed it was his dormmates science project, so he thought nothing of it, but slipped it in his bag just in case he came across his dormmate during the day.
Slipping his clothes off, Shaun entered the tub and began to take a quick 5-minute long shower. After finishing up and drying off, Shaun slipped on a yellow T-shirt and blue jeans. Then after unplugging his charging PSP, he exited the dorm and headed to class. The pic pic sound of his button mashing could be heard if one were close enough.
Virgil woke up to the sight and smell of a cheap motel room. It was true he had a house to stay in, but it didn't feel right after he was kicked out of his gang. If he stayed he'd just feel out of place, so he chose to just live on his own in here. He looked to the TV and saw a helmet nearby. It was Greek-style, like one of those Spartan helms that those guys from 300 wore. He gave it a quizzical look before shrugging and shoving it in his backpack. Afterwards he slipped off his dirty clothes and slipped into a clean, grey button-up shirt and black trousers. He then put on his windbreaker jacket and sneakers before going out to town.
Daemon woke up and, like every morning, started to go to the bathroom without even opening his eyes. He opened the bathroom door, turned on the light, slumpted over the sink, turned on the faucet, took his Toothbrush, and then started to brush his teeth while closing his eyes. After a few minutes of brushing his teeth Daemon then opened his eyes and looked around the bathroom. It was normal, nothing was changed, Daemon was in his normal boring life. Daemon then groaned, wishing for a change in his life, and started to walk back to his room.
As Daemon walked into his room he jumped onto his bed and he could feel a very cold breeze coming in. Daemon then turned his head to the window and sat it open.
"Huh ... that's strange ..." Daemon said. Daemon then stood up and closed the window, he remembered that he never opened the window, even if it was Spring or Summer. Daemon then sat back down on his bed, took out his iPhone, went into his Music app, and started to play some music. As Daemon was rocking his head to the music, he turned his head to the right and saw that his closet was open, another strange thing since he always closed it to keep his pesky little sister from opening and going into his closet.
Daemon then got off of his bed and opened the closet, expecting to yell and scold at his little sister, but, instead, he found something different. Instead of his Normal Bow and Quiver (With Arrows inside of it) that he always put in his closet he instead found a very fragile looking bow. "... Is this my sister's work?" Daemon asked himself. Daemon then put his quiver over his shoulder, picked up the Wooden Bow, and then started to move it around. The bow looked like it was painstakingly crafted by a master. Daemon then took an arrow out of his quiver and brought the bow string back as far as he could. The draw weight must have been around at least 150 Pounds! Something that Daemon could easily lift. "What the hell?" Daemon asked? Daemon then gently put the bow string back and put the arrow back into his quiver. Daemon then grabbed his Gym bag and put his bow and quiver inside of it. Daemon walked down the stairs of his house and walked outside, going to go to town, and after that, target practice.
Alexander was rummaging through his stuff inside of his work locker when he noticed something shining behind his work clothes. He tossed his clothes to the side and noticed two golden wrist-gauntlets. He inspected it curiously, eyeing it over as it shone on his face. "Peculiar.......but impressive. How did this get in here?" Alexander stuck his head inside of his locker, as if looking for some kind of opening in his locker that somebody might have used to place the gauntlets inside. He stared at it for a couple more seconds before taking it with him and changing his clothes to his swim-wear....his work outfit.
He walked out of the locker room, staring at the water as he breathed heavily, expecting the show to start soon for all of the public to see. He was a bit nervous, as usual, but he knew it was meant for him...like it ran through his veins(Oh god what am I doing.) The manager walked up to him, patting him on the back to reassure him. "Thanks, boss....I got everything under control." Alexander breathed in heavily and jumped into the water, letting himself sink down to the bottom as he shut his eyes.
Alyssa woke up looking around the room, and noticing a golden tiara. "Hm? Where the hell did this come from..?" she sighed standing up and walking towards it as she grabbed it and looking around. She looked at the mirror and put on the golden tiara, smiling. "I look hot.." she said. But that wasn't the weapon. Aly turned around then noticing golden gauntlets with pink dots around it. "What the.." she sighed looking at the time. "No time for that.." she took of her tiara and then placed it on the counter putting anything on, as she ran outside of her room and outside seeing the wonderful sky and birds shipping. It was really beautiful and sunny. She smiled walking to the college.
After Eli took his shower, he got out to dry himself off. He put the towel around his waist and went back into his room, his eyes darting immediately towards the mysterious book he found on his dresser earlier. It looked really old and expensive. After getting dressed in a white v-neck shirt, some skinny jeans, and a red jacket, Eli stuffed the heavy book in his backpack and went downstairs. He still had an hour before class so he made himself a quick breakfast consisting of cereal and some toast. He washed it down with Orange Juice and left his house, locking the door behind him. Nothing seemed to be stolen and there was no sign of forced entry. How did that book get in his bedroom? He still had a million thoughts in his head as he got inside of his Nissan Rogue and headed to the UCLA college campus.
Once there at the school, Elijah parked his car in the student parking lot and went inside of Classroom building A where his Greek Mythology class was. He strolled inside of the cold room with his backpack, sitting in his usual seat in the center of the auditorium sized room. After a few minutes, his Professor started the lecture on the great Hercules, a famous Demi-God. During the course of the class, something striked him as odd, not knowing what it could be. Was it the lecture? What ever it was, he shrugged it off as he took notes from the power point slide the Professor was using to lecture from.
Ariana woke up cuddled next to a muscular chest. She couldn't help the smirk when she felt his eyes on her. She looked up and smiled. He smiled back. "Welcome awake, Sleeping Beauty. Glad you could make it." She rolled her eyes and said "Me too." God, he is so stupid. He should know by now that you leave right after. "I've gotta get ready. I'll see you... whenever." He was about to say something when she got up, grabbed his clothes and said "Now is not the time to dottle. Get up and out." She knew she was probably being rude, but he was too idiotic to not understand. She was also pretty grumpy, so what ever. He got up and was about to speak, but she shoved him out the door and threw the rest of his clothes out there. Hey, you walk home in your boxers is your own business. It wasn't her fault you were stupid. She sighed and got ready.
She threw on a black, sleeveless tank top with a medium V neck. she grabbed a pair of black skinny jeans and some flats. she splashed on a bit of lip gloss, eye liner, and mascara. She left her hair naturally wavy, so she brushed the knots out and did nothing else. I definately need to hurry! She grabbed her bag and rushed out the house. She hopped on her motorcycle and road to the school. She parked, then ran through the front doors. She was NOT being late again.
BEEP BEEP BEEP! The alarm clock screamed as it sat on the nightstand. The loud and annoying sound broke Hunter from his sleep, making him slowly open his eyes. As his vision went from blurry to clear, he began to rub his eyes. He let out a small yawn and looked over at the clock, his face still nuzzled into his pillow. When he noticed the time, he let out a small groan. It was time to get up and get ready for his morning classes. Hunter thought about skipping, but he had a text in one of his classes that was worth most of his grade, so skipping wasn't an option. He slowly sat up and stretched, letting out another groan. He pulled the blanket off of his legs and turned, placing both his feet on the ground and standing up. Hunter looked over at his dresser, noticing his phone. He walked over to it and picked it up, opening it and checking it for messages. He didn't have any yet, but was sure he would get one soon from someone wondering why he was late. Hunter's attention quickly shifted, hearing a car door slam from outside his house. He made his way over to the window, the view overlooking the entire valley and looked down at the driveway. It was his father, probably going off to another practice or something. The two didn't have a close relationship and barley ever talked. Hunter shook his head and let out a small sigh, turning and leaning his back against the wall. As he stood there thinking, something shimmering from the suns light caught his eye. He turned his head, noticing an item he had never seen before. Slowly, he made his way over to his desk to get a better look at what this item was. As he stood in front of it, he looked down and picked the item up. It was a silver crescent moon pendent, an item he had never seen before. As he held the pendent in his hand, he could feel something different, something he had never felt before in his life. Hunter shook his head and placed the pendent back down on the desk, making his way into the bathroom to shower.
After a couple of minutes the bathroom door opened, steam pouring out as Hunter walked out with a towel around his waist and another in his hand. He began to dry his hair as he walked over to his closet, opening it and walking in. He looked through his options of clothes and pulled out a simple white top, jeans and a pair of boots. He quickly changed and then walked back out, stopping at his desk once again. He looked down at the pendent, seeing the raw beauty it held. He picked it up and held it in front of his face, deciding if he should wear it or not. Giving in, he unhooked the pendent and placed it around his neck, feeling that small boost of power again. After he finished getting ready, he grabbed his phone and book bag and quickly made his way out of his room, heading downstairs to the kitchen. He was in a bit of a hurry so he didn't have time for a big breakfast, so he grabbed an apple and quickly made his way out the door. As he walked out, he was greeted by his father driver, a man who drove him and his father everywhere. The man opened the door for him and Hunter quickly climbed in, pulling out of the driveway almost instantly.
In about half an hour, the car pulled up in front of the college. The driver quickly climbed out and opened Hunter's door. He climbed out and slung his book bag over his shoulder, taking a breath of fresh air and making his way towards the building. He wasn't the most popular kid in the school and was bullied occasionally. Hunter entered the building and made his way towards his locker, opening it. His locker wasn't anything special, almost empty. He opened his book bag and began pulling out his books, exchanging them with the ones he needed. Just as Hunter was about to close his locker, he was grabbed from behind and shoved up against another locker. It was by some of the more popular jokey guys of the school, the ones who usually picked on him. They began making threats, calling him names and throwing his books on the ground. Hunter didn't do anything but watch, his usual routine when he was bullied. Wait till they were done, then pick up the dignity he had left.
