Halo: Behind Enemy Lines [Roleplay Idea]
In the year 2525, the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) came into contact with an group of alien species, collectively known as the 'Covenant', at a agriculture planet named Harvest. Not long after first contact with the Covenant, fighting broke out over Harvest. The leaders of the Coveant, known as 'Prophets', labeled humanity as an 'affront to their Gods'. This eventually led to an all out war between Humanity and the Covenant, a war which seemed like it would surely lead to Humanity's destruction.
The year is now 2549, and the Human-Covenant war seems to have no end in sight. The battles seem to follow one pattern; the Humans would win small, isolated ground battles, but the Covenant would always win when it comes to battles in space, meaning any victory on the surface becomes useless. The Covenant has 'glassed' countless of the humans Outer Colony planets, killed billions in their genocidical path.
Now, the UNSC Destroyer Class Ship, 'Abandon All Hope', located in orbit around the human planet of Arcadia, finishes it's repairs and updates from a recent attack by Human Rebels. It is led by Captain Isaac Jason. 'Abandon All Hope' has one objective; infiltrate enemy lines and discover whatever they can to be used against the Covenant. Unlike any ship in it's class, it has been created to be the best in infiltration. Using captured Covenant technology, they have given this ship the ability to become invisible, undetectable to Covenant forces. To aid it in this, the ship is fitted with a special 'smart' A.I, named Andromeda. This A.I is specifically made for operations where back-up isn't an option.
'Abandon All Hope', while still in orbit around Arcadia, prepares for it's near-suicidal mission. Unfortunatly, the Covenant seem to have other ideas. The Covenant appear from Slip-Space, bringing with it a force to destroy Arcadia. Almost instantly three UNSC Frigates in orbit around Arcadia are destroyed, and Captain Jason has one option; a blind leap into Slip-Space.
'Abandon All Hope' makes the jump into Slip-Space, leaving Arcadia to the Covenant.
The UNSC Destroyer Class Ship, 'Abandon All Hope' reappears from Slip-Space, appearing in previously undiscovered space. That is, however, undiscovered by the Humans. The ship appears outside a large planet, the name of which unknown. The planet has three moons, and is the only planet to orbit it's sun. It is roughly four times the size of the Earth, with similar environmental conditions. However, this planet is far from undiscovered.
It appears that this planet belongs to the Covenant. A Covenant fleet is located near the planet, seemingly building up for an assault. Almost immediatly after appearing from Slip-Space, nearby Covenant forces open fire on 'Abandon All Hope'. Covenant boarding ships are sent to engage the UNSC ship, and the battle begins.
Captain Isaac Jason knows that if this fleet is heading for a Human planet, the UNSC wouldn't stand a chance in defending it. Captian Jason has a plan, one which will most likely lead to the death of him, and the rest of the crew of his ship. Even though the circumstances are unexpected, this opportunity might just be the key to turning the tide of the Human-Covenant war. Why is there such a large fleet around a seemingly unimportant planet? What is the Covenant planning with such a large fleet? Captain Jason knows that before this is over, he will have the answers to these questions.
The fight begins...

Okay, so that's my idea for a Halo Roleplay. It will revolve around the UNSC Ship, 'Abandon All Hope', emerging from Slip-Space into Covenant occupied space. But that is where things get interesting; the blind Slip-Space jump leaves the Ship deep in Covenant occupied space, over a Coventant controlled planet, which means that their are Covenant civilians on the planet (Mostly Sanghelli, I think). We will play as the crew aboard the 'Hope', or you can choose to play as 'Sierra Team', the ships onboard Spartan III team (I'll need a leader for Sierra aswell). I still have to rough out some of the details, but that's the general idea. Anyone interested?
(Also, I should note that I've tried this Roleplay before, on another Roleplay site a few years ago, but it didn't kick off. So, I'm giving it another chance, as I like the idea.)
