But science fiction is easy, if you don't know something, just make it up.
So, I seemed to have garnered some interest. So, other then your basic interest in this brilliant story of mine, and general boredom, why do you people want in on this? :p And what can I do to make it better?

Because I remember us plotting this a while back and am still interested. Also it'll be fun to have an open-end, adventurous RP like this.

Hmm I'm thinking. I was thinking about maybe this alien comes from a planet that has three factions. The war mongers, the doves, and the in-betweener pragmatists.

Boredom. Mind numbing boredom. Also, why the hell not? It doesn't appear as if there will be something to do outside anytime soon. Plus I need something to do when spam doesn't have any interesting threads up.

Indeed. I'd like this to really be the kind of RP everyone creates. I mean, yah, I'm the GM so I'm in charge of carrying out the plot and all that jazz, but I want more than just people hitching along for the ride.

So like a squadron of vicious killers, a faction of peace lovers, and a group of in-betweeners mediating between them?

Something like that?

I see this kind of like When the Wind Blows by James Patterson, only with an extraterrestrial instead of mutants. I think it could be really fun with a devoted group.

Yah, the hard part is holding interest. I'm going to keep this in the planning stages for a while, give people time to think about this and decide whether or not they can stick with it. The worst thing is when you start a great RP, and everyone loses interest before the story even got moving.
