Old School Pokemon with plot ideas

So I'm re-watching the entire series starting with episode 1 and I'm really feeling an RP right now with Original Characters (however that isn't to say that Cannon characters can't pop up now and then). Its been so long since I've seen the show so I'm really glad I'm re-watching it, but this also means that I don't know a whole lot about Pokemon further than a couple seasons which means that the Pokemon we will be dealing with would be first generation, maybe second. Ideally, what I'd like to do is start off with the original 151 Pokemon, and as the roleplay progresses (and my knowledge of Pokemon increases as I am almost constantly watching the show) we can begin to start new pokemon, gradually and eventually being able to use them all as I'm sure I'm going to find a new Pokemon that I absolutely adore.

I know Pokemon trainers start at the age of 10, and call me a cannon killer but I want this roleplay to take place much later for the sake of this being a mature roleplay. By mature, I don't just mean sex (though I am a sucker for romance), but it also means violence, language, drugs, alcohol and any other thing that turns a PG-13 movie into an R rating or above. However, I want to make this perfectly clear that just because this is a mature roleplay, that doesn't mean I want sex scenes all the time or the F bomb dropped every twenty seconds. I'd rather this not turn into something Quentin Tarantino would be proud of, if you get the reference.

I often get asked what style of writer I am, and I would say that I am somewhere in between casual and advanced as I write out a couple paragraphs per post, but at the same time it really depends on the situation; for example: if our characters are having a conversation, it is very hard to write a three paragraph response when really all my character needs to say is just a couple words. Sure extra things can be added in there, how they are moving, facial expressions, how they are feeling, but I find that you CAN over-do a post just trying to meet the paragraph quota, so sometimes my posts will only be a simple paragraph because I feel that you can ruin a post by filling it with fluff that really doesn't need to be there. So in summary, I never limit myself to a set amount of paragraphs nor would I expect you to either, as long as you are contributing to the story and put thought and a good amount of imagination into the reply, then I'll be a happy (Psy)duck (Ha! You see what I did there? XD).

Now, a little about me...I am a part time online college student, unemployed (for medical reasons) and married so I have a lot of time to spend on the computer and am almost always online when I have internet (can't afford our own internet, my husbands phone is a hotspot so I'm on when he's not at work or if he leaves his phone at home). Also, we are going to be moving here in the next week or so, so if I'm not online as much its not because I've lost interest...I'm moving lol. Really what I'm looking for in a partner is someone who can respond to me multiple times a day, preferrably I'd like someone who is willing to RP with me over an instant messenger but I understand other peoples limitations so if that is out of the question then I will bend and roleplay by other means.

I'm pretty sure that is everything I wanted to cover in this section, and to save from making you guys read an entire novel all at once, I will post my plot ideas in another post. Thanks for your interest!

Before I go into my different plot ideas, I want to make something perfectly clear. Just because its a plot idea, that does NOT mean that the plot must be followed exactly! I like it when my partner is just as excited about the roleplay as I am, and to make that happen I understand that some things may be changed. That being said, these plot ideas are not set in stone so if you find a plot that you somewhat like but don't like a few things about it or want to change a few things, let me know and we can come up with something together that we BOTH will really like. Believe me, I am a very bendable person and when it comes to changing things I am very open to new ideas. Now then...

Plots in BOLD I would like to play female. Plots in ITALICS I would like to play male and plots where I really don't care either way will just be normal. Also, I should mention that I would absolutely prefer if this were a MxF roleplay. Once in a while, for maybe a scene or two I'll get into some FxF but that's really it. Sorry. Also, I want to make it clear that I am not at all opposed to doubling. Personally I think a team of 4 wandering the land would be a lot more interesting than a team of 2, but I know that doubling is sometimes too much and I can understand, just let me know your preferences. I'm also not shy of the idea of me doubling and letting you take on a single character.

All time periods are the exact same as when Ash and his friends begin their journey at the age of 10 years old, however our characters are much older than Ash and his friends, probably late teens. (This is for the sake of the Pokemon appearances. I don't want it to be the same time period because that would make our characters 10 as well, and I don't want it to be later because then we are getting into newer generations of Pokemon).

There is an entirely new league of pokemon badges. Those who compete in the Poke' League and place within the top fifty are eligible to collect an even higher and more difficult to achieve set of badges and once collected, makes you eligible for the Poke' League Plus, another division of the Poke' League reserved for only the best of the best. In a semi-new town near the Viridian forest, Crimson City has opened their own Gym that holds the Lux badge (Lux means light). However, rumor has it that none of the eligible trainers go there anymore because their Gym Leader, Deon, has been undefeated for over a year. Your character, an experienced Pokemon Master, accepts the challenge and goes to see for himself just what makes Deon so unbeatable. It is slowly realized, as he tries time and time again, that Deon has to be cheating, but he doesn't know how or even how to prove it. A small red-headed girl, who has been watching the battles, approaches your character and confirms with him that indeed, Deon is cheating and she might know how to prove it. Coming up with a plan, your character tries for what seems like the hundredth time, but this time, is able to reveal that Deon has been cheating, therefore earning him the Lux badge and opening the way for future trainers to be able to earn theirs as well. Wanting to continue his journey, he asks the girl who helped him to join along on his journey, but she doesn't know much about Pokemon but he offers to teach her and help her to become a Pokemon Master.

Things were not going well, not well at all. And it wasn't just affecting the area of Kanto, but all the other areas as well. Team Rocket had somehow managed to capture themselves a whole load of Pokemon, but had it just been normal Pokemon that would have been fine, but rumor had it that they had themselves a handful of Legendary Pokemon as well, though which ones were yet to be known. Wild Pokemon started being more aggressive to the point that trainers didn't find any fun in capturing them anymore, and to make matters worse, there was a public announcement made by Team Rocket, which had somehow become the law, that organized Pokemon Battling was now strictly forbidden. The gyms were shut down and slowly after that, even the Pokemon hospitals were closing because none of the Pokemon were getting sick or injured anymore, and though every member of Team Rocket was enjoying themselves to the fullest, parading themselves around towns and taking and doing what they pleased, the same could not be said for the rest of the civilians.
There was a small ray of hope, however, when the nurse Joy's of Kanto started talking amongst themselves, as cousins do, and started a secret organization of people who wished to overthrow Team Rocket and started contacting the trainers they had come to know fairly well to let them in on their organization. There wasn't exactly a 'name' for their organization, precisely, and did they really need one? They just wanted Team Rocket to be brought to justice and to return the world back to the way it was.
(Doubling is open, Three characters is open or just two. An idea for one of our characters, they could be a spy for Team Rocket, who during their journey, discovers that what they are doing is wrong.)

It seems that each and every month that went by, the wild Pokemon were become more and more scarce, really upsetting a number of Pokemon trainers. Directly West of Kanto lies an island that hasn't been put on any map, it is said that anyone who goes near it vanishes. Thinking that the mystery of this island has something to do with the disappearing Pokemon, our characters set out on a journey to get to the bottom of this mystery. What will they find on the island?

They were childhood friends, promising each other to become the best Pokemon Masters that they could become, but when he had to move away, the friendship couldn't continue. Now, ten years later their paths cross once more but things have changed. He has joined Team Rocket and has become one of their best. It's up to her to bring him back to who he really is, and take down Team Rocket together!
Anyway, again I feel like I should say that NONE OF THESE PLOTS ARE SET IN STONE! I'm willing to work around them, change a few things or even completely start over. Perhaps you have your own plot you wish to try? If that's the case, GREAT! Have an idea you want to try? LET ME KNOW!

Hey if you have not found someone yet I would really like to RP with you :) I haven't done a good Pokemon RP in a while and that idea in bold actually looks really interesting. I also went through a phase where I tried to watch Pokemon all the way through again (I think I got up to the Ruby and Sapphire series before I gave up). I am on a lot most days (though a couple of days I might not be on that often due to Uni commitments). Anyway like I said if you still haven't found anyone please send me a PM and maybe we can start discussing ideas to make a great RP! :)

And can anyone tell me when the Pokemon Chronicles takes place? Like...during season 1? Before Season 2? I'm confused lol

The fourth idea about the childhood friends seems really interesting. And I'm perfectly fine with doubling. Would 4 childhood friends instead of 2 be alright. So far I'm familiar with Pokemon from gen 1-4 I know almost nothing about black and white though. (Sorry if there are typos I'm on a phone.) Also I'll be free most of the time since it'll be summer in a few more days. :D
