CHLOE
“Think that is them?” Questioned one of her friends, and Chloe turned and looked over her shoulder. Well, they were certainly new because Chloe was sure that she would know and recognise them.
“They’re paler than what you were English” Said one of the boys, and Chloe laughed. Yeah she was very pail when she arrived here at the small town, but these guys really were pail. But blimey they were good looking, stunning really. There were two who held hands, a small female who was beautiful in a fairy like quality. She had short hair and wide eyes, and a delightful smile across her face. Then there was her partner, who seemed sullen yet strideful. He had a crop of dirty blonde coloured hair and very specific features. And then there was the third, the one that got Chloe’s attention and every other girl no doubt. He was very tall, and very muscular, looking like he could snap a tree in half. He had a handsome face but looked stern and steady. But Chloe found herself instantly attracted, and as such she looked away and nodded her head.
“Guess that’s them” She added. A splash of rain hit her and she looked to the sky, before looking to the rest of them. They didn’t wait as they rushed inside of the school, the rain starting immediately.
This place really was like England sometimes, overcast and raining. It was hard for her to feel homesick when the similarities were so great! Chloe shook out the rain from her head and headed to the announcements board. There it would say what tutor group you would be in, and where you would get your class schedules and set out for the year. They chatted along the way until they were at the notice board and Chloe scanned for her name. “Chloe Davies…” She sung to herself scanning through the D’s. “Room 109” She said, the tutor room that was notoriously colder than a fridge. Her eyes caught the surname Cullen. Emmett Cullen, 109. Was he one of the new guys? Chloe sighed and tightened her jacket about herself. “See you guys later” She informed them and they waved each other off, before heading about their separate ways. Chloe was with two of her friends, Danny Perkins and Amanda Sims. The couple who couldn’t be separated.
Entering the classroom, she shuddered and took a seat near the window as the couple sat together in front of her. They all chattered still, about their summers and other such matters. The classroom was bloody cold, and Chloe tightened the jacket around her. “How is this room so cold?” She questioned. She touched at the radiator that was cold and the window that was always open “It’s not even this cold outside!” She stated.
“I have no idea” Mandy commented “This school is totally backwards” She informed “Or barmy as you would say” Chloe laughed, it did always make her laugh when people tried to mimic her accent and the words she would say.
“Barmy is hot” Informed Chloe, although the continued to chuckle at the brunette.
JASPER
Alice had lay out exactly what he was to wear, and it made him laugh. Alice was Alice, and when it came to fashion she was set and would not change. So he dressed in the fitted jeans and jumper, and pulled on the narrow shoes. His nose wrinkled a little, he held no favour for the footwear. But when Jasper reached for the boots, Alice was quick to tell him he was to wear nothing else. He scowled but kept with her request, before joining Alice and Emmett. His eyes fell on the big guy and he frowned a little. Rose had left him broken and devastated, once more set in her selfish desires. Jasper despised the blonde but kept his opinions from Emmett. To help, they relocated to this small town a few states over, and Alice and he tried to help Emmett. They entered school as senior students, and would live out as normal trying to keep Emmett from going insane. Jasper wasn’t that thrilled about being back at a school, surrounded by human teenagers. But with aid from Bella he could better handle the smell of human blood, and could refuse the lure.
They all piled into the car and Emmett drove, Jasper nodding along as Alice spoke. He noticed this town was most similar to Forks, always in overcast and small. At least they were not all fostered and in love, which was a weird set up. Emmett and Jasper were to be brothers, and Alice his girlfriend. It wasn’t really a lie and it felt comfortable, although Alice was his wife and not girlfriend. But as 18 year old students, being married would cause more who=ha than before. In no time at all they arrived at the school and they parked, and Jasper looked around the school car park. They were in excitement; new students were coming to the school, new people. Apparently the last new people to arrive were a family from England. So much attention would be on them now, something which Jasper didn’t like. They had been constantly fawned over at Forks and it made it harder for Jasper to deal with. But without the Bella escapade, maybe it would be a lot easier.
Walking out from the car, he heard about people having to check a notice board, amongst the other aimless gossip, and that was their best path. His hand held Alice’s as they walked toward the school. Senior year, again. Graduating, again. Jasper held his false breathing; he did not breathe in the scent of blood all around him. In fact, Alice had to remind him to breathe and relax, because he didn’t look normal or human. He had been around Vampires again for so long he had forgotten the protocol and act that he had been well trained in. Jasper allowed Alice to lead, and stood patiently by her side. “You alright?” He asked in his southern drawl, watching Emmett stand before him.
