Pokemon: A new adventure begins! (YoshiSkittlez&Lanthias)

It was early morning in Crimson City, and a couple of Pidgey could be seen flying towards the Viridian Forest that lay in the distance. It was a beautiful sight, and as more and more people started to venture out to start their day the city started to become more lively. The streets started to become slightly more full, and as the citizens of Crimson City started to enjoy their day, one person could be seen walking through through the city streets, his eyes on a building in the distance. This person looked different then the other people in Crimson City, and he definitely didn't look like he belonged in Crimson City. The man was wearing a long black overcoat, and underneath that coat was a pure white shirt that had a symbol of a dragon on the back. He was also wearing long black pants, and attached to the belt he was wearing were 6 Pokeballs. Besides from his strange attire, his appearance also looked different then your average person. He had pure white hair, that seemed to be cut in such a way that it cascaded down his back, ending just below his shoulders. He had jet blue eyes, and a scar under his right eye that seemed to have just missed his eye when he received it. This person's name was Ian Fair, he was 21 years of age and he was a Pokemon Master! He had recently competed in the Pokemon League, and had come 15th at the end of the tournament. Ian had found out afterwards that there was a new set of badges that could be obtained if you had come in the top 50 at the Pokemon league, and if you collected all 8 badges then you could compete in the Pokemon League Plus.

This was a challenge that Ian had been waiting for, as he knew that he had to get stronger with his Pokemon in order to become number 1! Ian had researched where he could go to obtain his first Lux badge, and had found some interesting information about a gym leader in a fairly new town called Crimson City who had gone undefeated for a year. Besides from sounding like a pretty interesting challenge, it was also located near where Ian had started his own Pokemon Journey. Ian had traveled all the way to Crimson City, and he had finally arrived at the Crimson City Gym. Ian glanced up at the giant building, and as always a tiny twinge of excitement surged through his body. Every Gym he had ever come across had always been extremely impressive, and this was no different. There was a sign out the front stating that Deon was the Crimson City Gym leader, and Ian briefly wondered what type of person Deon was. It didn't matter though, as soon enough Deon would be defeated, and the first badge would be his! Ian opened up the big doors, and as the lights flickered on around him he could see a giant Pokemon arena. "My name is Ian Fair, and I am here to challenge the Gym leader to a Pokemon Battle" Ian called out clearly, and waited for a response from the Gym Leader. Ian hoped that he would be able to get the badge quickly, as he was etching to move on to bigger and better battles.

Crimson City was a tiny little town, there were no skyscrapers, cars, busy shopping malls; not even a single two story buildings. It was a simple layout of a couple handfuls of houses here and there, an even tinier Poke'Center and in the middle of it all was a small wooden dojo with the familiar indications of the building being a Pokemon arena. It wasn't so uncommon to find dirt as the main floor of this town, as there was no cement sidewalks or asphalt roads, it was all packed in dirt and the occasional gravel walkway; it was a wonder that there was even a gym certified for handing out badges to the winning challengers in the first place. The entire town was very flat, so to speak, and very open. It seemed as if everyone in the town knew each other as well as people who had begun their day waved hello to the others walking in opposite directions.

Sitting inside of the dojo was an older boy of twenty-three years old with fiery red hair, unkempt and spiky. His bangs, however, were a shiny gold color that he kept swept to the side, overlapping what looked like a fragment of a thunder stone he kept tucked behind his ear. His back was resting against the wooden door frame, one leg laid out flat and the other bending at the knee, resting his arm on it and looking down at the dirt floor of the dojo. Deon was the Gym Leader in Crimson City and have a very powerful reputation of holding onto a winning streak for over a year, which was why no one seemed to even bother trying to get a badge from him anymore. The challengers he faced were getting less and less and farther in between. The last legitimate battle for a badge he had was nearly two months ago, and he was getting restless.

"What's the point of being a Gym Leader if no one ever battles?" He grumbled, pulling the cigarette out of his mouth and doused it in the dirt below him. When he heard the front door open, without looking up to investigate a small smile trickled across his face. A challenger. He snapped his fingers and the lights flickered on as he pushed himself up from the dirt floor. He stood tall, about six feet, and folded his arms across his chest with a mocking smile plastered on his face.

"Well Ian, you must be incredibly stupid or flat out naive' to take me on." Deon said with a snicker. This kid had determination, that was for sure, but to Deon, he reeked of inexperience and something like that wouldn't prove to be a very fun battle anyway. Sure he may have been in his late teens, but as far as Deon was concerned, age had nothing to do with it. "You've heard of my reputation, I'm sure. I haven't lost a battle in over a year. I placed first in the Pokemon League for the first time when I was seventeen and then again at twenty and again at twenty one. I haven't entered since then because I became a gym leader." He dug his hand into his pocket and pulled out a handful of tiny pokeballs and expertly ran them in between his fingers like a magician would do with a quarter. "But if its a loss you want, then I'll be happy to oblige." He sneered.
