Here's my CS. I set it in 0 BBY, a few months before the destruction of the Death Star. We can discuss plot and where we want to start and whatnot here. Silara is saving money for her own ship, but right now is working as a crewmember on another smuggling vessel.
Name: Silara Rudder
Weight: 122 lbs
Weapons: L-23 blaster pistol (always carried), GLX Firelance blaster rifle (kept onboard ship)
Ship: None yet; works on a smuggling freighter.
Brief Bio: Silara Rudder was born to the wealthy Rudder family on Alderaan near the outbreak of the Clone Wars. Her father Carl was a Republic Naval Officer during the war, and passed his love of the stars on to his daughter. However, while her older brother, Patrick, was a standout athlete and student, and went on to join the Imperial Stormtrooper Officer Corps and Storm Commandos, Silara was much different. A rebellious child and an even worse teenager, Silara could not have been further in attitude and action from her brother.
In 3 BBY, at the age of 18, she left her homeworld and set off to find adventure. She eventually fell in with a band of smugglers in the Outer Rim territories, and started her smuggling career as a crewmember onboard one of their freighters. Using her natural beauty and charm, she was able to make a fair amount of money getting the better end of deals and, it was rumored, setting up her fellow smugglers to be caught or spooked by Imperial authorities. Three years later, she has just turned 21, and is close to having enough money to buy her own ship.
Silara is a skilled pilot and a fair shot with a blaster, although she would much rather talk and charm her way out of a situation than fight, as she knows she would likely lose. She is beautiful and knows it, and uses this well to her advantage when faced with danger or pressure from men. She is greedy and ambitious, as well as an adrenaline junky. She lives for the life of smuggling, and is slowly amassing a fortune which, at this point, she has no real plan for other than accumulating as much as she can.
The Night fury is a black fully customized Consular-Class cruiser, with power re-routed to its engines and a newer generator being implemented in order to increase speed and shield efficiency. Several weapon turrets have also been installed, although these are in secure compartments near the outer hull that can extend out when necessary. Although this set of three quad turrets placed around the ship are only useful against ships of the same size or smaller, similar to those on the Millennium Falcon and are meant to knock off small pirate attacks.
Brief Bio(Will learn most IC)Luke was born aboard Skip 8 within Smugglers run and therefor had grown up around smugglers. By the age of 8 he had already begun working on ships. This contributed to him beginning to earn credits. Although this was during the clone wars, a mere two years before Order 66 and thus were hard times for smugglers. Though after the dissolution of the Republic into the Galactic Empire there was a time when business boomed, with Luke being in his late teens at a time.
He soon proved himself as a pilot, working up from just an engineer in many of the ships that he worked on in his earlier childhood, beginning to show his potential. Soon after his twenty first birthday Luke had saved up enough for his own ship, however many of the new rules and regulations put into effect by the Imperials meant that it was harder for Luke to buy a more modern and up to date ship, so Luke went with something older. Remember watching the Holonews and seeing the smaller Consular Class Cruisers and the speed they often possessed Luke came to the conclusion to try and hunt one down. Ironically it led him back into the skips.
The ship was a wreck when he found it, he was twenty two by the time he had it space worthy and since then he began taking small time jobs smuggling while making special modifications to his ship, changing the ships exterior so it was pure black, and adding a signal jammer(which was a power drain) so that if necessary he could be almost invisible from unexpected visitors, though this system he has never properly finished and shorts out more than half of the time. With the new speed his ship possesses he has become one of the top smugglers, although of-course smugglers don't have fame as the good ones are the ones that don't get caught...
Ready when you are Hotshot.
In reference to your VM, Patrick isn't yet a Rebel; he doesn't defect until after Alderaan is destroyed.
Oh alrighty, then how shalt they meet?
What about working on the same ship? As in she's one of his crewmembers?
Well I was wanting them to meet, but okay. You kick it off.
Hmm well we could do that as well. Got any ideas?
I want you to get in some trouble with pirates, little cliché but nice
