Johto, a serene region of unique species and pristine nature... or at least it was. Around 2 years ago, Gold, a trainer from New Bark Town, set out on his journey. He became Champion of the Johto and Kanto regions. Beating Lance and even the famous Red. Oddly he went missing, and 3 hours after his initial disappearance Ho-Oh and Lugia went on a rampage. They fought for 7 days, neither giving an inch. The Beast Trio tried stopping the conflict but it was no use. The two Pokemon did not notice they were tearing up the lands and raising the seas of the region they longed to protect. The citizens of the region were forced to stay as whirlpools surrounded the waters and tornadoes bordered the fight. Many died but the people that survived made new towns and cities. Land forms created themselves. However, Johto would never be the same...
A series of new trainers are about to change their lives. They're going to travel the new Johto in hopes of finding Gold, if he's even alive...
Facts about the new Johto:
- Johto's no longer connected to Kanto.
- All Pokemon not native to Johto are available. (Even Kanto), however evolutions or pr-evolutions are (Such as Piloswine -> Mamoswine or Wynaut -> Wobbufett) The Starters can also be found in the wild. (I know only about 100 Pokemon is not a lot to chose from but there can be duplicates. There's multiple of each Poke.
- None of the previous landmarks or cities are remaining, they're either destroyed and cleaned up, underwater, or were completely erased.
- The Gym Leaders were either killed in the storm or helping to clean up, resigning their jobs so now new ones have taken their spots, but their are only six.
- Johto's now mostly an archapaelego with very harsh weather and climates either deserts, jungles, or mountains, much like Hoenn.
- The previous legends were replaced with the new battle of Ho-Oh and Lugia. Shrines have been made for both Pokemon. The Beast Trio is also missing as well as the previous mentioned.
