Our Zombies are Different
---Prologue---
Eh, zombies. We all knew they would come one day. We made preparations, stocked up on gun, ammo, rations, necessities. We thought it would just be a small epidemic. Bad for a little while, but after a year or so, everything would be back to normal.
It has been forty years since the initial outbreak. The year is 2060, Summer of June. The day is sunny, but the air is ripe with the stench of the undead. Earth is quiet, however, with no sounds of towns or city bustle. And occasionally, you might here the shuffling of feet, followed by a scream. But these sounds are not new to you; from the time you were born to the day now, you have lived in constant danger, with the threat of the zombie horde always looming over your head, like a guillotine.
You all came from the walled town of Bastion; a "Thriving" community in the inhospitable wasteland on the border of what was once known as North Carolina and Virginia. How you got there is a mystery to us all. We'll find out one day. But for now, we must focus on the issue at hand; Bastion is dying. It's sole power source, the Energy Cell, as broken. The various craftsmen and handymen of Bastion are trying to repair it, find alternative means to power their town, but as they try, the horde grows stronger, clawing it's way into the town. You and a small group of others have been sent out of Bastion, to find a new Energy Cell. Some of you have ulterior motives for leaving the town, some of you might not.
But whatever. Welcome. Enjoy you're stay. We certainly will.
---Now---
No time to rest. You and the others in your group have hold themselves up in a ruined two-story building, presumably some sort of dinner. Either way, you're under attack by Zeds. No point in placing blame on who attracted them, what matters now is that you have about fifty undead Zeds wanting to eat you and break your skulls to munch on your brains. There are two entry points for the zombies to enter, as well as many places for you to hide and shoot the zombies from a mostly safe location. But don't get comfortable; evidence shows that there are some Ghouls hidden in the ranks, and who knows what they're going to do.
The first floor of the Dinner has a few tables and booths you could use as barricades. The front entrance is where most of the zeds are coming from, but there's also an unlocked back entrance, so watch for that. there is a metal staircase leading to the second floor, which consist mostly of bedrooms and a bathroom. Not much here in terms of weapons, there aren't even any blankets or mattresses, just bed frames. The closest and drawers have some cloths you can try on later, or maybe you have some other need of them? Finally, the only noticeable loot in the place is a stash of alcohol; you have some cheap light beers, as well as some more fancy scotch hidden away. Whatever you do, you only have a bit of time before the Horde comes for you.
So set up your defenses, say your prayers, zombies are coming, and they want the players.
