It's Not A Mistake [ WhispersWolf x Dimitri ]
And there he was again. New town, new people, new places. How exciting.
Moving wasn't uncommon for Jay. He had to do it quite often in fact; after all, if he stayed too long in one place, the risk of someone finding out he was the reason behind all the bad luck that suddenly overcame their city only grew higher. He did enjoy tempting fate; but not to this degree. It'd be too bothersome, plus they could cast him back into Hell permanently and never let him crawl back out again. Now that would be inconvenient. Not that Hell was such a bad place - but there wasn't anyone to tease, play mind games with, torture from behind the scenes. Ah, his lovely little humans.
Finally done with the general unpacking, Jay threw himself at the black leather couch and stretched his sore arms. It was just past twelve in the afternoon; really not that late. He couldn't possibly waste the day lazing about - he had to get familiar with his new territory. For a few moments, he just lay there, staring at the ceiling and inwardly motivating himself to get up. Finally, he raised himself, ran a hand through his wild albino hair, then got up and walked over to the window. Hmm, it looked to be quite a sunny, warm day - why the hell was this place so cold, then? Or was his long-sleeved button up shirt not enough? Yes, the material was fairly thin, but still, it should have been enough to keep him at least a bit warm, especially in this weather.
Grabbing his black jacket from one of the dining chairs as shivers ran down his spine, Jay shoved it on and cringed. The man hated cold temperatures - naturally. It was early summer though, so he looked forward to the scorching heat that he was sure would follow in the next few weeks. The thought relieved him somehow and he quickly collected his keys off the table, stealing a glance at himself from the medium-sized mirror that stood propped against the wall, still covered in see-through foil. Yep, presentable.
Twelve something - wasn't that the time most people would have their lunch breaks? Perfect. Time to spy. The albino exited his flat, locked the doors and started making his way down the stairs, ignoring the sudden drop in temperature. Was this building's AC broken or something?
