The worst part IMO was that my balance is all fucked up because of me being used to leaning to my left. =T

That must take some getting used to for sure. I hate that I can't stand up for long. I can exercise and work out for a long ass time but shopping and walking for a long time kills me.
I speculate it's due to them being paid however much they want via health insurance. Trust me, without it you will be turned down by a lot of places, or treated like a second-rate patient. Even at Shriners I was only permitted to stay a day after surgery. Then they kicked me out of the hospital while others stayed. I had to go on a 3 hour ride home without my left leg being unusable, while wrapped in an insane amount of gauze, with only a prescription for a narcotic to help me and it was only to be filled at my local pharmacy. Which of course had to take 30 minutes to verify that I should be getting the drugs. -_-

I HATE long shopping sessions. Those damned hard floors kill. =T
