After the last secret war between the monsters under the command of the Monster King Rashim Rachol. The war ended when the Rangers managed to overwhelm and defeat the monster king with the aid of The Swords of the Eons a set mystical of swords forged for the first rangers from another planet and have been passed down from ranger to ranger and eventually found their way to earth. However the rangers were disbanded after the war and now the swords are lost. The War itself lasted four years and these were the second generation of rangers to take on the enemy and the rangers which numbered at six were disbanded afterward. Most of them even died during the war or have since retired and barely keep contact. However a General of the Monster King has returned intending to pick up where his master failed. He seeks to destroy earth's inhabitants or enslave them. He has regained his abilities to summon monsters and is attempting to bring his fallen comrades back from their prisons which has broken free of. However the Rangers are not here to combat him this time and now earth is defenseless without its protectors. In an attempt to stop the ruthless annihilation that will undoubtedly be caused by the General a former ranger has taken up his former mentor's armor in hopes of restoring the rangers.

Rules:
1. As usual all roleplay rules of casual roleplaying and its standards apply as well as the site's rules in general.
2. You can have any color canon or non-canon as long as it is not taken but you will not be automatically better because of the color of your suit.
3. This is using the season 1&2 gear meaning that the morphers and the zords will all be from that era. If you can make a strong cast however I may allow you to pick a Zord custom. You may pick from any season 1 and 2 canon zord despite your color as long as it is not already taken.
4. We are rangers but we're not gods we cannot go in and take on an entire group of monsters by our lonesome on most conditions remember team work is key in the rangers.
5. You may pick a canon ranger if you so desire but remember to stay in his character. You may change his or her suit color if you'd like
6. You have to be able to constantly post at least five sentences per post and be able to write on a normal level without internet speak while typing in the IC. This is a stupid rule I have to put up but it stands none the less. If you can't do so then there is another power rangers rp going on in the free section that is right up your alley.
7. I may consider allowing uniforms from other eras but it should look close to the originals.
8. Your character should have trained in a martial arts form of some type in his or her life.

Bio: Born in Baltimore Maryland he was the son of a Martial Artist Black Belt who worked as a High School Gym Teacher and a High School English Teacher who was also taught at the same school as his father. He had a good childhood as his parents cared for him with all their hearts and did their best effort to bring him up as a good young man. He had a good amount of friends and was always a star in the gymnastic classes. His younger years had him training with his father extensively and having his mother help him with school work he may have missed. He was no genius but he was always considered a bright young man with a great future ahead of him. His friends described him as a kind and patient man but having his limits. He was the kid who stood up to bullies at school and got beat up defending his friends. He disliked committing any sort of crime and found being dishonest an act only performed by a loser. He passed middle and high school as the guy voted most likely to succeed in his life and he took pride in it. He went to Angel Grove to learn more about becoming an engineer and got there by getting a scholarship in school as a wrestler. However he is not the perfect child he has always had a problem with swimming, he can swim but he is rather bad at it, and he has problems with muscle stiffness and is prone to headaches if concentrating on something for too long.

I couldn't particularly find any picture that fit the description of my character, so I opted for a typed appearance, I hope this won't hinder anything~ Apart from that, I hope you find this character sheet acceptable~

Appearance:
- Normal: TJ stands at an even 5 feet 8 inches and possesses a lean, muscular frame with heavy definition around his muscles which gives an insight into the exercise regimen he adheres to; as well, his continued activity under the consistent sunny weather of Angel Grove has left him with a rather healthy tan, though he can still be visibly identified as Caucasian. He tends to keep his sandy brown hair short being a part time mechanic, and while it naturally wants to fall forward, he keeps it slicked back, giving it a small spike towards the back of his head. His face has a very strong, slender outline with particular emphasis on his jawline which is more or less usually covered in the stubble he can’t be bothered to shave off; the contrast giving his hazel brown eyes a much sharper quality. His usual attire is a black sleeveless t-shirt and a pair of durable blue jeans, though when out in public he tends to wear a black button up shirt over his undershirt; and of course he always has his pair of tan, steel toed boots, once again his occupation bleeding over into his casual appearance.

Personality: TJ is brash, reckless, and aggressive; and while he isn’t one to go off seeking a problem, he is very outspoken and will be just as quick to jump into a fight as it would start. He is also impossibly stubborn and firm in his beliefs, never backing down once he’s convinced himself that he’s in the right and will challenge anyone he doesn’t agree with, with little to no hesitation whatsoever. However, for all his abrasive mannerisms, he is a steadfast and loyal person, and will stand just as firmly to back up anyone he would call a friend, viewing them more as family than anything else.

Quirks: While TJ would never openly admit it, he has a deep fondness for the classic black and white cartoons he grew up with, and has various VHS tapes stored around his room of his favorite ones. He also has an uncharacteristic love of cats and finds himself very hard pressed to hide his fondness for them in public. However, he will never deny his own cat, Jiji, any love or attention she seeks from him and he dotes on her in the same way a father would his daughter. TJ also enjoys watching boxing, particularly older fights, a passtime he and his Grandfather bonded over once he ended up moving in.

Bio: Timothy James Greene never had what one would call a “Normal” childhood; growing up in the ever present shadow of his older brother Mickey Greene, he was always viewed as “Secondary” by his parents, much to Mickey’s dismay and protests. Unfortunately, TJ saw none of this in his brother and grew to resent him with a passion, as well as his family in general; this passion would push him to try harder and harder to smash through the walls he felt they had placed around him. Eventually, the treatment he got from his family drove his anger to the breaking point, and at the age of 16 he emancipated himself and ended up moving in with his Grandfather whom he still has a good relationship with, getting a job at a local Auto Body Shop through the help of a friend and putting himself through the rest of his high school years. During those years, he found an outlet for his anger in a local dojo teaching Muay Thai, and threw himself into learning it with gusto, impressing even the instructor with how driven and vicious he was capable of being; his instructor has made many attempts to calm and channel his anger into more constructive things, but so far none of his attempts have been overly successful. As of now, he has had no contact with his family and is attending Angel Grove College to gain a degree in full blown Mechanical Engineering.

The second guy is pretty close, I just wish he looked a bit more aggressive ^_^;;; If it will help though, I can most certainly use the second picture, it is close enough as far as references go~ You are the DM and I shall differ to your judgement on this~

I would like to stick to the text appearance if it isn't too much trouble, I have a very specific idea for his looks, so thank you for giving me the option~ Apart from that, is there anything you particularly like or dislike about the character? Anything you might change given the chance? Or does he look good as is? I rather enjoy getting outside perspectives on my characters, it helps to broaden my perspectives~

Fair enough I prefer a picture I can look at and visualize though but it is your character. I don't see much I can add besides say more quirks like does he have a fondness for dogs or some sort of animal? Does he have a favorite type of cartoon or movie? Does he have a favorite person or a role model?

Benji stands at an average 5'9 with a lightly muscled build; he focuses more on speed than strength. He has his hair dyed dark blue and he almost wears some kind of hat. Benji has a couple tattoo's; one of the TARDIS on his left calf, a raptor skeleton on his upper right arm, and the Chinese character for serenity on his left shoulder.

Bio: Benji was born in London, his father was a Paleontologist and college professor while his mother was an chef. He was always sort of a geeky kid preferring video games and comic books over playing outside with other kids. In school he got picked on a lot and as a way to help him out his dad had him start taking boxing lessons. Though he expected to hate it Benji was surprised to find that he really liked it and a few years later when he was about thirteen he switched from boxing to karate lessons. Benji studied hard and was very dedicated to learning everything he could in both his karate lessons and at school. He started defending the other weaker kids at school but making sure he only used what he learned for defense and never to beat up other kids. He was good kid, not the most popular but he had several close friends who shared his geeky interests. He was pretty happy and he got along very well with his parents. He especially loved spending time with his dad, going to museums and talking about Dinosaurs. He knew at young age that he wanted to be a Paleontologist just like his father and he always proud to say that his dad was his hero.

On his sixteenth birthday his father was killed in a car accident on his way home from work. Benji was devastated; he became depressed and withdrawn from his mother and his old friends. Instead he started hanging out with a new crowd, spending his time picking fights for fun, shoplifting, drinking, picking on weaker kids at school. After a while his mother had enough and she moved herself and Benji back to her hometown in America. At first Benji hated Angel Grove and only wanted to move back to London. Then things started to get better, he joined one of the local dojo's, started making friends and eventually his grades started getting better and better. He started to really like Angel Grove and when it came time for college he decided to go to Angel Grove University and major in paleontology.

Extra: Benji loves sci-fi shows, movies and books and his absolute favorite show is Doctor Who and he loves the Star Wars films. He used to be big into video games but he rarely has a chance to play them with all the other things going on in his life. Being a paleontology major he's obviously very interested in dinosaurs but he also really likes reptiles and insects. He prefers to walk or ride a bike places; cars still cause him a lot of anxiety. He's always believed in aliens and he loves a good conspiracy theory. While he's a decent fighter he prefers to use violence as the last resort and he always tries to see the good in others. Benji also hates his birthday it just brings back too many bad memories for him so he never celebrates it.
