The Old Sith Wars (OOC)
This RP will begin on Onderon during the closing days of the Naddist uprising, a conflict that was the prelude to the Exar Kun war. The Naddist cult, a group who revere the long dead Sith Lord Freedon Nadd, have taken Iziz, the capital of Onderon, and stolen away with the remains of Freedon Nadd. The Jedi and their Beast Rider allies have been driven back to a fortress outside of Iziz. The Naddist forces, which use force adepts, droids, and standard soldiers, have the Jedi and Beast Riders besieged. The only hope for the Jedi is to survive until the Republic fleet en route to Onderon arrives.
The RP will begin on Onderon, then move into the rest of the Great Sith War. We also plan on bringing the RP though the Mandalorian wars, the Jedi Civil war, and possibly the First Jedi Purge. You may join on either the side of the Jedi/Republic, or the Sith (or as a mercenary working for whatever side you please). I (EliteCommander) will be directing events for the light side, while Austin directs the Dark side; however, feel free to give suggestions and ideas for battles and other events in the war. During the war, we may be fighting each other on the same planet, or the light and dark sides may be operating on different planets. We will vary between large scale battles, small scale battles and infiltrations, and downtime between missions.

Background: Xan-Rhu-Tor was born on the Mandalorian ship, War Storm, but he was never able to learn much about why or how his parents left Tiss’sharl. The most his parents ever divulged was that they left the homeworld willingly with the first of the Mandalorian scouts that arrived, though they never gave their motivations for leaving. Once they had a child, however, they decided to leave the Mandalorians to settle down as a family.
Very early in Xan’s life, it was discovered that he was force sensitive and a strong candidate for Jedi training. His parents debated for some time on what to do, but eventually decided that Jedi training would be best for their youngling. The family moved to the serene planet of Ossus and gave Xan to the Jedi
Academy there. Due to the fact that the Tiss’shar were not known to the galaxy at large, his parents played a larger role in his early life than was usual for younglings, as they needed to make sure his developmental needs were taken care of. Once he was old enough and they had imparted all of the necessary knowledge onto the Jedi, however, Xan never saw nor spoke to his parents again.
From the beginning, Xan was considered a promising initiate. His desire to learn coupled with his deep connection to the force made him a natural in his training. He willingly learned about most subjects presented to him, and though he expressed higher than normal interest in the ways of combat than most other initiates, his instructors saw great potential within him.
As Xan continued through his training, his attention became more focused on lightsaber combat, which he tended to find more enjoyable than most other subjects. His practice with the force started to consist mainly of abilities that augmented his body and movements. He became adept with allowing the force to flow freely through him during meditation, and over time, in combat.
Once he came of age and proved his abilities, Xan was selected to be the Padawan of Jedi Knight Volisk Trenorin, a Shistavanen Jedi Knight. Xan learned everything he could from his master and grew his connection to the force considerably. Since his master was not specialized in lightsaber combat, Xan looked to the other masters of Ossus, as well as the great library of information stored there for further instruction. He took it upon himself to learn the various styles and strategies of lightsaber combat, which, combined with his instruction in the force from his master Volisk, turned him into a formidable close range combatant specializing in the agile, flowing form of Ataru. He learned how to easily and efficiently allow the force to flow through his movements and aid him in nearly every aspect of melee combat, strengthening both his body and his mind. His intense physical training has made him exceptionally strong, even without the use of the force.
By time Xan had passed his trials and become a full Jedi Knight, he and his master had become close friends, so they naturally worked together in their assignments across the galaxy. After becoming a Knight, Xan training naturally brought him into the specialization of Jedi Guardian, which complemented well Volisk’s force based style. Not long after becoming a Knight, he accepted his first Padawan, Luthor, then took on another named Omwot a few years later. Most recently, they were among the Jedi assigned to the planet Onderon to help keep order after the end of the Beast wars. For Xan, however, this otherwise calm and peaceful assignment would turn into a nightmare when his closest friend succumbed to the influence of dark forces that would have been best to keep buried.

Background:
Kai was adopted by the Mandalorian warrior, Trel Firaxa, at a young age. When Kai was eight, her father began her 5 years of training. When the two returned 5 years later, Kai was officially an adult. She left her father and planet to become a soldier for hire. She has since worked as an assassin, mercenary, privateer, bounty hunter and spy for a variety of companies, but mainly for the Republic. She is currently in the employ of Republic forces and sees no reason to leave.

I rather like your character. The Mandalorians have always been a favorite of mine, I just like my Jedi Raptor too much to be anything but him.

i am going to admit it, i do not know too much about the old sith war, but I am wanting to assume this is before clones, as this is before the clone wars where I think they where first made. If i am correct, i was wanting to know what the standard foot solider was. anyways, i am working on CS now, should be up in a few.

The Old Sith Wars began a little less than 4,000 years before the movies (amazing how little technology changed in that time). Cloning, however, is not a technology I believe had been created at this time. The standard foot soldiers were simply people who joined the Republic's military (or whatever other organization they were fighting for). They did often use droids to supplement these troops, but generally, these droids were not advanced enough to comprise the entire military. They would also hire mercenaries to supplement their troops, and, of course, the Jedi aided the Republic, while the Sith had force users of their own.
In the case of the Naddists on Onderon, they used a combination of force adepts, droids, and standard soldiers. The Krath (the organization that will be the Republic's main opposition during the majority of this RP) used force adepts and their own, specially made Krath War droids. During the war, they also end up forming an alliance with the Mandalorians.

Powers:Adiabatic shield was a Force power You manipulate the air around you to function as a shield of sort. While this shield doesn’t protect you from blaster fire or impact with solid objects, it can disperse gases and airborne chemicals that could affect you. You can use this power to disperse smoke, poisonous vapors like chlorine, or more subtle chemicals like airborne pheromones.Jax Pavan and Laranth Tarak used this to disperse the pheromones Dejah Duare released in an attempt to secure their services.
Cryokinesis was a Force power that allowed a Force-user to draw heat away from the object, causing its temperature to drop rapidly. This arcane technique caused the heat vitality of the victim to hemorrhage, but it was impossible for the caster to channel that vitality into their own body.
A Force punch or Force charged strike was an application of Telekinesis where the user would augument their striking strength, in the form of a punch or blow in close hand to hand combat. Vestara Khai while fighting the red-haired female assistant of Ivaar Workan; grabbed her by the chin and used a Force punch to the throat to kill her in 44 BBY, and later Saba Sebatyne delivered a Force-enhanced double punch to a avatar of Abeloth, striking her in the mouth and threw both sets of her fangs shortly before killing her. Mace Windu was a master of this ability, using lightning fast jabs to decimate an army of Battle droids during the Battle of Dantooine.
Psychometry or telemetry was a Force power that was a mental technique of picking up impressions and traces of information about the object touched and the events that have surrounded it.
Force Shockwave was a Force power that allowed a Force-user to emit a powerful destructive ring of energy, damaging or destroying anything in its radius.
Saber Forms: Niman- Form VI
Bio: Volisk was born on Uvena Prime, and was plucked from his family very early as a Jedi sensed his natural attunment to the force. He was delivered to Ossus where his training begin, for years he worked growing in both age, and knowledge, while his race was physically stronger then others, including that of his Master's, he had a hard time learning the way of the Saber, his affinity was in the Force, he seemed to be able to calm himself almost instantly and call upon the force with ease, and his master adored this feat, but other knight's and a few master's found this troubling, one so quickly able to grasp the force, can sometimes be heavily persuaded by the fluxauting coercin of the darkside, but nothing was done to bring this to his attention, instead his training comensed, until the day he reached Padawan rank and began leaving the Academy on Ossus to partake in mission. He was best suited, and often chosen, for diplomatic related missions. He often settled estate and property dissputes, and more then once haulted the quarrels of business men and private politicians.
His training continued until he became a Knight, a Consular to be more specific, and continued his training alone, or atleast until an odd Raptor-like boy entered the academy. Xhan became Volisk's padawan and began training under his knowledge, and while Volisk had hoped for another force focused memeber, he quickly learned that Xhan's affinity was for the blade, so Volisk took it upon himself to teach Xhan physically augmenting force abillities.
The two became great friends after Xhan made the rank of Knight, and they spent much of their time together, training, completeing missions, and even just hanging out around the Academy.
All seemed well until the pair, along with several other Jedi, were deployed to Onderon for several years to aid the Onderonian Goverment with the removal of Darkside remainents and left over artifacts, but as they did so, something began calling to Volisk, at first like a whisper, but then it grew louder as the weeks passed, eventually the voice was unbearable, it screamed at him, with promises of power, and glory, but he faught for a few more weeks, until the voice finally grabbed hold of Volisk's mind, he began listeneing and learning from this voice. He had fallen.....
Volisk had fallen to the darkside and joined the Naddist, he assisted them in regaining the artifacts and overthrowing the goverment, they drove the Jedi and all the Onderonian forces from Iziz and took hold of it, the Jedi and Onderonian forces were now held up in the fortresses around the city, but the Naddist planned to finish them off, they planned for an assult to wipe them out, but they never expected the outcome, the end was near, and they did not know what was before them.
