The Black World: Eternal Darkness
A kyubbi girl sat at her desk, helping the long line of newly dead along their way. She had forms for each of them, and began getting the ins. She read through each, and gave a stamp of approval. She was honestly only doing this until she could get enough money to have a legal license in the human world. She wanted to visit her homeland again. She stopped though, as a young blonde man gave her his paper. He looked different than the rest of the tired people. She began reading over his paper, looking up at him every now and then. "Um...you're...What? You aren't dead are you?" she said. The man smiled "Nope. I just happened to run into a gate. Now I plan on helping these dead people out better than your leaders can." He said with a grin. "But I need some papers to get back to my world. So, if I could get the proper paperwork..." He said as he somehow seduced the girl, who handed him some papers. "Thanks." He said with a smile as he walked off.
Meanwhile, in the material world everything was going as they normally would, and the lord of the planet prepared his own powers for his daily assassination attempts. "Tis an old habit with these humans, which refuses to die." he said, "Another day of ruling for Lord Dyan." he said. Another Vampire walked into his champers, this one, an elderly looking man, dressed in a butler's attire. "Sir, the humans at the base of the castle are beginning their revolt of the day. Have you prepared a proper spell to deal with them from your Grimoire?" the butler asked. "Yes Sebastian. I'd like to try this one on you though, if you don't mind." Dyan replied. "As you wish sir, I am only your servant after all." Dyan pointed his palm toward his butler. "Inversa Varsta" he said, and a plume of purple smoke wafted forth from his palm. It quickly overtook Sebastian, who soon realized just what was happening. "Ah, I see sir." he said, his voice becoming less rigid and slightly getting higher in pitch. "It is quite the spell, especially with your specific taste." Sebastian said, now sounding like a teenage boy. He then stepped out of the cloud, his body that of an 8 year old. "All that in 5 seconds?" he asked, his clothes now shrinking to fit him. Dyan chuckled slightly. "Yes, why kill, when they can serve. Luckily for you, vampires are unaffected by the mind affecting agents. I'll need you to watch the skies, and tell maid Mary to watch the battleground for any wayward demons." Sebastian bowed and then walked off. "Dyan, maker of children vampires. This'll hurt my reputation." he said to himself.
Elsewhere in the material world, it was a normal day for everyone else. Well, what's been normal for the last 1000 years. Some are hunted, some hunt. It's the way of life.
