The indie side of Gamedeving actually look bright, many talented studios getting a chance thansk to Valve starting the Steam Greenlight initiative. Stick with it, get people to help you, work it, do not be afraid to kill your darlings to make it fit/sellable and just PRACTICE at what ever you do.
