Fantasy/ mild-steampunk RP
So I have an idea for an RP in mind, I know the title is pretty vague but I don't want to go into too great an amount of detail.
But it's set in a fictional world, there will be some magic, Magic is kind of young at the point in the story, it's really difficult to use and takes years of studying to learn how to do anything with it, steam based technology has been rising up the pass few years and has been used to make trains, weapons etc. It's pretty common but there's nothing extravagant about it it's just run of the mill stuff.
The main focal point of this RP will be some mysterious person who is using magic to steal things, but not in the conventional sense.
He steals things like their ability to speak, their knowledge on a certain subject, or in some extreme cases a persons physical appearance, He will be dubbed as "The Rhythm thief" due to a certain event which I will explain in the OOC once I get some interest in this.
Where do the players come in?
I'll need two people, preferably one male on female for balance, to act as Detective type characters who are attempting to find and capture the rhythm thief
Another person who will be a practitioner of magic hired by the detectives to aide them
and a mercenary/bounty hunter who is out to kill the Rhythm thief and claim the reward
I'll be acting as the rhythm thief and other major/minor characters.
That's pretty much what I'm going for but once I get some interest in this I'll put up an OOC with all the info and whatnot.
