Dark vs Light RP?

For centuries, the Lustrin and Neodym have overseen the balance in the world. More than once has it been threatened, but the races of light and shadow were quick to snuff out the problem. The Lustrin are the Bright Ones, creatures of infinite light. They are the sun and stars, and all aspects of light that fill the planet. While the element they control is warm, they are not. Lustrin tend to be cold and calculating, wanting efficiency over anything else. There's always exceptions, however. Their true forms are simple spheres of light, so they tend to appear as crystalline figures, angels, or fairies.

The Neodym, or the Harbingers of Dusk, are the polar opposite, to an extent. They are the moon, the shadow, and the void of space. They can be murderous and evil, but a lot of them are very friendly with each other, taking comfort in the dark reaches of the world. The bodies they inhabit vary from one individual to the next. The most common is a simple humanoid with no features, just a black wispy mass. Some choose to take animal or animal hybrid forms. Both races are able to take on human disguises.

The two races usually try to stay out of each others hair, save for when they run into each other during work or hunts. That's when things usually turn into "kill first, ask questions never". Other than that, conflicts are rare. However, lately the Lustrin and Neodym have clashed more and more frequently. The Elders of the two races refuse to say anything, but it's obvious something is up...and they may only find the answer in their enemy's blood...

Hey there! If you made it this far, thanks for checking this out! It's not very refined at the moment, but I wanted to put this here before I forgot about it. The main focus will be battles between the two clans, but it will eventually get to something that will require co-operation to face. So, any one interested/have suggestions or questions?
