Provoking in this game, simply means leading them to say the word. You can do this a variety of ways like:
1. KB's word is curtain. His target is Squee. KB makes a thread pertaining to painting his bathroom. He can't decide what color to have as his curtains. He decides to ask Spam and hopefully gets Squee attention. Once he has her attention, KB shows her pictures. She takes the bait and says, "I prefer the red curtains." Boom. He gets her.
2. Azarthes has the world child. Beatrix is his target. Azarthes and Beatrix are talking with others about adulthood. In the thread, Aza says something like, "I love being an adult. No responsibilities, no nothing." Beatrix responds with, "Just wait until you have a child." Boom, he's got her.
Stalking/Harassing in this game is like:
1. Hank's word is 'Devil'. His target is Bela. In every thread Bela goes to, Hank always responds, "Hey, Bela. Who is Lucifer?" or "What is Aza's avatar of?"
There is a fine line between Stalking and Provoking, but basically, if you are always in a thread with your target and you're making it blatantly obvious that you are trying to Chaos him/her, that is not acceptable.

And this, too.
Someone tried to get me to say "Baby" and it got so annoying that I just gave in.
