AHA! NOT illegal. The damn thing was made in 1998 or 1999, somewhere around that time. Therefore, an n64 copy of a debug version of that game(made before it, mind you) wouldn't be supported by developers.

Except the debug version is more than likely already illegal so owning a copy of that version would still be illegal.
