Who are you related to that's famous (or infamous)?

It amuses me finding up if people are a distant cousin to Tom Hanks or their 6 cousin 15 times removed is Lady Gaga.

I'll start.

My third cousin on my mom's side is US Senator Tom Harkin.

(I'm not related to any other notable person, but you can list as many relations as you want)

I'm related to the Geico Gecko.

For a while, we were pretty sure my uncle was the unibomber. Now we just think he's affiliated somehow.




Also I'm an actual blood-nephew of Robert E. Lee

I'm related to the guy who invented bleach.

I'm pretty sure my great grandmother was cousins (to some degree) to a big-time boxer at the turn of the century named Sullivan. But I could be wrong. I got this information from my great aunt, and she's not sure if her father was Dutch or Irish. /shrug

Not exactly related to anyone famous, but my cousin is a bodyguard who works to protect celebrities as they go on concerts, acting, etc. I met with Kasabian, and Samuel L Jackson when I was younger.

I may be related to Count Frontenac, who is a very big reason Quebec still exists. It's hard to know for sure, but a part of my dad's bloodline goes back to the first French colonists in North America, and a family removed from my great grandmother was Frontenac, so there's a good chance.

Meh.
