Chen Nakatomi - The Red Dragon or Blaze
“Take a deep breath,” he instructed, gesturing with his hands, in slow movement, how the air would travel from their mouths to their lungs. He paused for a moment before bringing his hands back up and pushing them outwards, gesturing that they should release their breath. That had really been more for himself than anyone else. He was, after all, a young man, teaching a bunch of women how to bend over just right. He tried not to think about the fact that he was able to bend much further than most of them.
“All right,” he said, a polite smile plastered on his face; it felt unreal, because he would never smile like that outside his class, “Time for ya lovely ladies to bend over backwards for me. Let's see a Camel Pose,” he instructed, causing his class to giggle at him. They seemed to like his teasing.
He went about the room, using discreet touches to steady some of the women, who gratefully took the help. The fact that he was discreet was one of the reasons that people took his classes. Most instructors would just shout it to the world when you did something wrong.
“Why don't you try it, Chen?” one of the women, a cute one with red hair and freckles, asked rather innocently.
Chen smiled that polite smile again, giving her a small shake of the head, “No can do, love. I can do it with one hand, though, if ya wanna see that,” he suggested, while unconsciously rolling his left shoulder. He was cheered on until he flopped down onto his knees rather unceremoniously on his mat. He bend his neck to either side, making the joints pop, before curling his left arm around his torso and leaning back on the right one, “This pose ain't really that hard, though. If ya really wanna see some flexibility, I can go Pigeon instead,” he almost teased as he curled his back even more, until he was leaning on his elbow so his hand was at his ankle.
He ignored the sounds of sirens somewhere rather close-by. “Chen, I was wondering,” another woman began as he had uncurled himself with a round of applause, “how did you get your shoulder hurt?”
He just grinned the best he could, gave a little shake of his head and replied, “I got cocky.”
