It has been nine years since the fall of the Republic into the new Galactic Empire, and Piracy has never been harder. Even with the Empire using the majority of its fleet to finish the conversion of the last stubborn worlds rejecting Imperial Rule and finding Separatist strongholds the Emperor has devoted entire task forces to tackle the problem of Piracy. Though Pirates never really know when to stop, a small pirate base has established itself in the asteroid belt in the Muunlist system and has expanded its reach out to the two nearby systems, Bastion and Yaga Minor. Though these, prosperous times will be short lived. The Imperials have taken notice..."
The year is 10BBY. The Imperials have had a good nine years to set up their place within the Galaxy. Pirates have had it tough, with the Imperials Cracking down on piracy and other illegal activities. However nearer the outer rim the Imperials Control is on a stretched leash and the Imperials cannot stop every activity what is going on, especially with all the Alien Species that felt the brunt of Imperial Racism against them, and sought a way to strike against the Empire and make a substantial living from it.
Pirates are currently being lead by Tyrell Lorne. They are situated within the Godspire Asteroid belt, within an old Carrick Station which had been presumed to off resided there since the time of the old Republic. It hosts most of the systems scum which does not receive a warm welcome by the Muun, however several Muun themselves use this station to either store credits they earn less than credibly, for a price, or to hire help that would other wise be impossible to find back on solid ground. After this station was found by the space cartel modifications were made to the design, several smaller freighters damaged beyond repair have become part of the hull, fused on and there has been the addition of at the very least three more turbo-lasers scavenged from scrap yards.
2xArquitens-class light cruiser
Assorted Freighters (Lightly armed or not at all)
Players may also have their own "Private" ships though these can be no larger than the CR90 Corvette.
They're pirates, the politics are nothing other than the founder and one who can bring in the most money is the leader, while this is currently Tyrell Lorne his leadership can be challenged at any point. Although currently his leadership stands unchallenged for the most part, with only a few who disobey his orders for currently Lorne has brought prosperous times to the cell.
The Imperials have been slowly gathering Information on the cell. Now they have assembled a task force by order of the Moff tasked specifically with the hunting down of and elimination of the group of pirates working within the three sectors.

Weapons/Equipment:Dual Westar-34 Blaster Pistols on hip mounts.
Special Skills:Deception and tactics.
Ship(If Applicable, can be crew member):The Black Guardian, modified Guardian-class light cruiser, painted black strangely.
Personality(Optional):Dark, unpredictable but does have a strong moral side.
Brief Bio:Lorne was a member of the Muun security force and served as a low ranking officer among the Separatist forces. After the apparent defeat and deception Lorne was one of the many Captains who was laid of and removed from work in the old "CiS". He fell into the life of a smuggler fairly quickly, un-able to apply for the Imperial Academy to become a Captain within the new empire, though it was just lucky that he had not been killed.
It wasn't long before he ended up at the space station, he had heard rumors of it. The sheer fact that it had so many names made it far more mysterious than it really was, but how difficult it was to get to within the Asteroid belt was no understatement, many lighter ships had been caught out in the asteroid belt and never been heard from again. The lucky ones who were damaged beyond repair, and couldn't afford spare parts merely fused their ships onto the hull of the space station. His ship was one of them, he soon became part of the society aboard the station. Often ending up in Cantinas and owing people money. Eventually it was taken notice of by the higher ups. The current pirate leader at the time had been more generous than Tyrell was now and had permitted Lorne to live on the condition that he worked off his debt.
Lorne found this a way to fuel his anger towards the Empire and within one year after the Imperial Reign had begun he had struck their trade lines at least twice. Gaining him his weapons and much needed respect. Although like most who soon came to grips with power Lorne wanted more, he needed more as if his life depended on it. Saving the life of the current pirate leader at a failed coup attempt gained Lorne the trust he needed, placing him upon the Inner council at the time. He began working on gaining support, first from the lower pirates forming his own group within the station. Then eventually he moved onto the higher ranking officers. Within five short years Lorne had the power to move against the leader of the pirate base, and so he did. Effectively becoming its leader. He spent most of this time consolidating his power, and performing runs in the nearby systems on freighters in order to keep attention away from them, but after it being nine years since the Empire took the place of the Republic, it is not enough. Piracy is becoming harder and harder as ships travel in packs and hyperdrives improve, the only ships that remain easy for the picking, Imperial Transports...
Will probably edit this, after posting the thread and it is getting late it isn't my best piece of work. Will look over it in the morning and see what we got :)
Alias/Nickname:(Will let you guys nickname her)
Weapons/Equipment:2x Bryar Pistols. 1x Troukree Knife.
Ship(If Applicable, can be crew member):Whatever one she needs to be on.
Personality(Optional):Cruel and Callous.
Brief Bio:Sam met Lorne on one of the first pirate operations he was part off, and they soon became friends. After a sour raid in which Lorne and Sam were left alone and Lorne saved her life Sam felt a loyalty and a need to help him in his future en devours, similar to a life debt but to the degree that she still reserved the right to null it at any time. Though of-course Lorne sees her more as a friend and there is a relationship between them as between a brother and a sister. Many times especially after taking the station Sam has had to punish people for asking when the wedding was, as Sam was put off the opposite gender with some less than loving actions from her step father.
After the raid on the station Sam was one of the main forces acting against the intruders, and kept and tortured many of the survivors looking for hidden loot. Although the one prize she wanted, was Alani. Alani was soon forbidden to be touched by anyone by Lorne, unless Alani consented to it, as Lorne was curious about Alanis seer abilities. Once Sam tried to disobey that order Lorne treated her as he would any crew member, he punished her. Though he also attacked her pride by using Sams knife and slicing part of her ear lobe off. The punishment Sam uses against crew members who disobey her.
Name: Jaden Silverstar
Alias/Nickname: Captain Silverstar
Species: Force-sensitive Human
Weapons/Equipment: He carries a vibroblade and two DC-17 hand blasters.
Special Skills: Being moderately force-sensitive, he is a great pilot. The force allowing him to augment his flying skills. He seems unable to activate his force powers in ways more than this. He is also a dab-hand with his vibroblade and pistols, being a great shot.
Ship: The Cutlass A modified ex-spice freighter that has had its weapons systems overhauled. It has a small medbay and hangar for smaller ships. It is of the same make as the Twilight, but has been overhauled for combat use.
Personality: He is very fond of the Robin Hood approach, stealing from those who don't need it and giving to those who do. He sometimes is in a rather morally grey area, and will not hesitate to kill if someone gets in his way.
Brief Bio: Jaden is not aware he is force-sensitive, all he knows is that he is a damn good pilot. He was a spice runner in the days before the Empire, but after the Empire took over he decided a life of piracy suited him better and started stealing from rich Imperial officer's private shuttles and giving it to those who were starving under the Empire's control.
Name: Issharra (shadowmane)
A wrist caster with an ascension gun permanently attached in addition to the launching capabilities at the cost of any magazine.
A smaller than standard bowcaster that is too short for him to use a second hand to stabilize the grip but a smaller human would be able to do so as a regular rifle.
A standard bowcaster he uses as a snipe rifle with a remote eye scope mounted to the cross hairs of the rifle for higher accuracy.
This was based off of a weapon he discovered by a trandoshian slaver's net caster. Simply done it is four separate bowcaster frames mounted around a central shaft in an X-frame. With a simple dial, he is capable of firing one, two or all four bolts at once for horrific damage to a single opponent. Cocking all four shafts at once takes significant strength that even he would have to use a foot stirrup instead of the time to re-cock each of four one at a time.
Power lifting, ship weapon systems and personal weapon modifications
Ship: Drifting gunner amidst the many pirate ships. When he arrived to the pirates, he handed over a YT-1000 to add to their numbers.
Taller but lighter framed than any other Wookiee and often bullied for it. He compensated by training his body in raw power-lifting since he could not train to get stronger via combat without giving the bullies an excuse to beat him with full permission. His black fur was loose and flowing such as his namesake. Where other wookiee's wore armor to defend themselves, he had tooled for himself a harness for him to carry his gear, excellently distributing his items across his body just like a tracker utility vest. His goggles are a survival trait for two reasons, it allows him to transition from bright to dark environments like the forests of kashyyk with less light-blindness than others would suffer from and flash grenades; The second was a life experience where he nearly lost an eye to a syren flower, one of the many dangerous forms of plant life on Kashyyk.
He was born before the Clone wars and served as the tribe technician with plenty of time to tinker on the side for a century. When the war came, he did his duties with honor and pride alongside the clones whose mass produced weapons were constantly needing to be repaired or replaced due to the true dangers of Kashyyk. When the war was over, he found himself suddenly quarantined on his home planet. He and over a dozen other wookiees made a daring raid to confiscate a ship capable of hyperspace and each one jumped to various planets to start their new lives. He stayed on with droids for a skeleton crew when the ship itself got raided by pirates.
He hailed the pirates and offered the ship free and clear in payment for a place in the pirate fleet. Many joked that he sacked his own ship single handedly on his first day. He has spent all his time with them since then hopping from one vessel to another either fixing or upgrading some system or another.
Legal Status: Property of Tyrell Lorne, killing Alani is not murder as she's not a real person, but Tyrell would have to be recompensed for the loss.
Object of the Purge: As a force sensitive Alani will be killed immediately if discovered by either an Inquisitor or a member of the Emperor's Hand.
Weapons & Equipment: None, though she is quite skilled with knives.
Special Skills: Alani is a force adept. She is a witch and fortune teller. She can feel the emotions of those she concentrates upon, can sense hidden figures or starships, and often gets bad feelings when horrible things are about to happen. Occasionally she receives visions, particularly plot related visions and can call up these visions by taking a complex mixture of psychedelic drugs and entering a trance.
Alani also has several powders and poisons at her disposal. She has been known to blow these in the face of an enemy causing them to hallucinations, horrible weaknesses and other debilitating effects.
Personality: Alani would like to be rich, affluent and free. This, of course, is utterly impossible. With the Empire's recent legalization of slavery, her current ownership of nothing, and with a master who would beat her senseless at the slightest sign of disobedience she doesn't have much hope for her own future.
If provided with such a miraculous opportunity she would set upon it without regard to the feelings or even lives of anyone else. She'd be quite happy backstabbing just about anyone and doing anything to get somewhere, anywhere.
Alani dwelled upon the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth. It is a hellish world, tidally locked with its star and almost uninhabitable. Despite that, the Twi'lekki people have thrived beneath the surface and upon the narrow band of surface capable of supporting life.
Overpopulation has resulted in numerous conflicts between tribes. Stone knives and axes affixed to bones considering how rare wood is to these people and many tribes possessed shamans, those were attuned to the force who would guide their warriors in battle.
Alani was one of these shamans. She used her magic to receive visions and portents. She would cast runes and bones. Speak of who should journey on a particular mission and who not, cast curses and sense the feelings of her people and their opponents. When fighting in the eternal darkness being able to sense the presence of enemies was a great boon.
Nothing, of course, prepared them for the intervention of outsiders. The Twi'lekki upon the surface often raided those below for bodies to sell to slavers and enslaved their own people below to farm Ryll Spice. Often, particularly in the outlying regions away from the thin band of livable surface, slavers would bypass the Twi'lekki on the surface and enslave those beneath the surface directly. This was far more difficult considering such tribes lived beneath the ground.
It was this that happened to Alani's tribe. Her tribe had been unable to meet the ridiculous needs of the humans that enslaved them and as a result was taken as a slave to compensate. In truth, everyone was certain that the increased demand was entirely for the human leader to take Alani as his own.
The Attack on the Station
Alani then found herself a slave to the freighter captain that had kidnapped her. Eventually, when his holds were full of spice he took her and withdrew to the surface and launched into space. For two years she served her captain who was astonished by her ability to read his customers and provide portents of the future.
In time, thanks to the successes she made possible, he began to put together a small fleet and challenge other pirates, smugglers and drug runners for their territories. Despite her misgivings the fool, drunk on his own success, decided to take on "The Station". She successfully guided the pirate fleet through the asteroid field simply by feeling her way through it with her eyes closed.
What he had not anticipate was a newly captained Lorne. Attacking a space station wasn't like taking a freighter. With a freighter one simply stormed the ship with every hand. Taking a small city was a decidedly different venture. Captain Lorne was decidedly more skilled and while Alani was capable of providing warning when things turned ugly in the corridors her input wasn't able to make up for her captain's lack of a real plan. After several hours of ambushes and traps in what was decidedly in favour of Captain Lorne the attackers were wiped out, Lorne had cemented his position as leader in most spectacular fashion and Alani's ownership had changed hands.
Since then she has served Captain Lorne well but has never been given opportunity for command, nor allowed her any form of training. He doesn't even let her carry a blaster. Clearly he fears her and rightly so; for she is watching, always watching, and learning the ways of pirating through observation.
Brrasal'yssn'akaki (Core name is Lyssna)
Commonly known as "Wraith"
*A Jedi Lightsaber* Does not use, mainly keeps it as a trophy for the Jedi Knight she 'purged'. Is still active, and she sometimes uses it to cut things (Such as rope, a hole in a wall, etc) easily than a knife or what a knife couldn't cut.
*E-11 Blaster Rifle* Primary Weapon
*DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol (x2)* Secondary Weapon
*Large Knife* For melee combat
Disciplined, Intelligent, Skilled in hacking computers and Droids
Ship(If Applicable, can be crew member):
None (For now)
Born in the Chiss Ascendancy, Lyssna grew up in one of the more 'Higher-Class' Families. Her family had a tradition, where the men became skilled fighters and warriors and the women became lovely nobles. Lyssna did not want to be a noble, which she though was wasteful, and instead wanted to become a fighter, like her father and brothers. She trained and trained until she was the age of 16, when she enlisted in the Imperial Military. Although she was harassed for being an Alien, she made it through basic training, being the 4th best of her squad. She served for a year, suffering harassment and prejudice along with it. One of the humans who harassed her the most, Silas, had attacked and murdered a Moff the day she was to be promoted, and blamed the crime on Lyssna. She escaped execution, and fled to the Outer Rim. She used her military training to become a Bounty Hunter under the name of Wraith. After throwing in the towl 4 years later, she turned to the life of Piracy and Smuggling she is currently doing, still under the Alias "Wraith" to hide her from the Empire.
No more Imperials currently being accepted.
Name: Moff Aldrjan Vor’tzhen
Alias/Nickname: The Liquidator
Weapons: Either a Model 22T4 pistol or ELG-3A (preferably the 22T4); Stealth-2VX palm shooter
Ship: can take command of any ship in the sector fleet, although he is known to occasionally own/rent a private yacht for family journeys to other sectors, namely Coruscant.
Personality: Known for fits of rage, paranoia and sadism. Very loyal to the Empire and his family. Earned his nickname for his brutal tactics when seizing assets and entire corporations previously belonging to the Separatists. Has an interest in collecting personal protection equipment, thanks to his paranoia, mainly due to the ambitious officers around him - this has already led to two summary executions.
Brief Bio: Entered the military at an early age, and by the time of the Clone Wars he was an Admiral. As most other admirals, he knew Palpatine, and supported him as a firm believer of the New Order. As such, he was one of the first Moffs to be instated by the Sector Governance Decree. His loyalty to the Emperor earned him with the control of Muunilinst and the surrounding sector, tasked with ensuring safe trade and protection of assets vital to the guarantors of the Imperial Credit, as well as keeping an eye on the IGBC’s trading practices - the Emperor has insinuated that if the IGBC were to betray the Empire, Ardjan was personally responsible for bringing them back in line. Regarding his past acts, namely on planetary settlements hiding traitors, this could entail numerous repercussions to the galaxy economy.
He has a wife, a son and two daughters, the youngest being over 15. The family residence is on Muunilinst itself, as well as a secondary home on Coruscant, the ancestral home of House Vor’tzhen. As a sector Moff, Ardjan is often away on a ship or space station around the sector when his duties necessitates his presence.
Name: Captain Clara Donovan.
Age: 35 Galactic years.
Appearance: As a woman in the Imperial Navy, Clara uses her body as a physiological weapon of sorts. People don't really expect this slim, and rather alluring woman to be able keep up with the big dogs, only for her to out pace said big dogs, in most fields of endurance. To maintain her form she works out as often as she can, eats as healthy as she can, ect. She weights in at one hundred, and twenty seven pounds, stands at five foot, seven inches. She has a athletic form, and likes to be seen as professional as she can be at all times. Most of the time, she keeps her blonde hair tided back, and at short length.
Weapons/Equipment: She does not carry a weapon, unless she is required to do such, for example: going planet side, or visiting a station, ect. She is however trained in several forms of pistol combat, as most Imperial Officers are. On her person, she is likely to carry a comm device, several writing implements and a computer pad for her duties.
Special Skills: During her time in the Cardia Naval Academy, Clara earned several degrees in Galactic History, Psychology and Galactic Sociology. However, since most of these degrees were earned almost twenty years ago, most of them are more or less out of date, and do nothing more than to make her record look better.
Ship: Immobilizer 418 cruiser, Enervator.
Personality: Clara is one of the only females with a rank worth a damn, in the Imperial Navy. Technically, she shouldn't be in the service, since she does qualify as 'not devote enough'. But due to her unstained record, nobody can really be bothered to get rid of her. She uses this to her advantage and tries to stay out of the way, so as not to cause some sort of scandal. She'd much prefer not having to over think her every action, on the off chance that someone might use it to ruin her career, but she survives mostly thanks to her prowess in battle. She isn't considered a 'great tactician', or a 'great mind' either. She is just someone who climbed the ranks and became a Commander. Which doesn't stop her from being good at her job, which is basically killing people.
So you are aware. I am a firm believer that your character should develop in the In-character. As long as you have a basic background story to your character, as of why he is a pirate then I am happy with it. Though you do not need to write pages and pages.Code:
