Hilda's Bio
Name: Hilda Laverock
Gender: Female
Age: claims 25, but has lived nearly 500 years.
Race: Assumed herself to be fully human, but her prolonged life has given her suspicions. Unaware of her demon blood.
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 155-120 lbs.
Appearance: Her eyes are two colors, the right being a bright cerulean blue while the left is pitch black as if no eye existed. An eyepatch is normally covering the left. With a few dreadlocks scattered throughout, her black mid-length hair is generally messy and unkept. Her usual attire consists of a black lace bustier underneath a high-collared grey shirt, simple black shorts, and worn-out black Dr. Marten's style boots. She wears two packs, one around her waist and another wrapped around her thigh along with a black trench coat with both outer and inner pockets. Slim, but protective guards cover her knees as well. A thick scar, once a deep gash, runs the length of her back along with three claw marks on her right shoulder and a small, zig-zagged scar barely visible from underneath the eyepatch.
Weapons and Powers: Officially named The Sword of the Crystal Gods, Hilda wields a rare shape-shifting sword only capable of being used by descendants of Sidra, who in ancient times was said to be the God over the lands. The sword, whom Hilda refers to as Sid, appears to be made of simply sapphire, but is as strong and as sharp as steel. The sword is normally concealed as a diamond shape pendant around her neck or an average pocket knife. Her left eye is a mutation of the all-seeing crystal eyes that the God-Children are born with. Despite giving her a great advantage in combat, if exposed for too long, the nerves in the left side of her face begin to ache and then escalate to an excruciating level of pain. Hilda can handle her own without the aide of her eye and due to an immense fear of the mutation, she only uses it as a last resort.
History: Hilda's mother, Aurora, was a direct descendant of the God Sidra, who at one point in time watched over most of the Earth with the city of Laharina deemed as her origin. Aurora, seduced by a white haired demon posing as a simple traveler, gave birth to Hilda. As with all of the God-Children, she was born blind. Her eyes would not be fully developed until she had lived for 100 years, which was considered to be the period of childhood.
Fifty years after Hilda's birth, her demon father known as Daemon returned to Laharina to put his initial plan into action. Daemon intended to infiltrate the holy race by creating a child of mixed blood, who he would utilize to take control of the Earth and Heavens. Daemon's appearance was foreseen, however his strength was greatly underestimated and he easily destroyed the once sacred city. Hilda was given the highest level of protection as soon as his arrival was predicted. He was after her eyes.
Hilda's half-sister, Nora, though faithful to her angelic heritage, chose the path of a mystic and was given the difficult task of advancing the development of her eyes. If they were to become fully developed, they would be able to withstand the alterations Daemon's powers would cause. However, the demon was closing in and the development process was impossible to complete within the remaining life-span of the city. Nora and their mother agreed that they had no choice but to give Hilda human eyes. Before the magical operation could be completed, Daemon had discovered their hideout and easily disposed of Nora. With one eye still vulnerable, the demon thrust his hand into her eye and began to transform it to suit his needs. Her milky white eye became a smoky, black void. Thwarted by Aurora's final effort to dispose of him, Hilda was able to escape with only the mutation Daemon's magic had caused. With the death of her mother the first sight she sees in the hundred years she had lived, Hilda took refuge in a small village to the west, where she was raised by a loving family until the day that she had outlived them. Since then, she set out on a seemingly endless quest to find the white haired man.
